I'm not sure how this place ever sells anything because every time I call I get no answer AND when I did reach someone, I merely needed to know if the item was in stock and he told me to email him the information and he'll let me know. Well, the D-bag NEVER responded and now the entire work day has gone by. There is no store front so everything is done over the phone or online and since you can never reach anyone on the phone and even when you do, you're not helped, it seems impossible to order from this place. Well I'm not going chase you down to give YOU my money. Sorry. I wasted a whole day trying to order from this damn place. I'll take my $800 elsewhere. All I wanted was a damn sofa!! FU! AND the delivery is not free. You will notice that they charge $50 + more for the same furniture than other places because they factor in the delivery and then TELL you it's free. We have great experiences with Palace Decorators. The service people are friendly, honest and working hard. The items they sell are in great quality. They don't have a show room, so their price is lower. We have been doing online shopping for 10+ years. Basically, we buy almost everything online except grocery. We ordered a 7-piece dining set 2 years ago and then ordered a sofa set and bedroom set this year from Palace Decorators. The shipping is free and delivery was quick. When the items were in stock, we received it the next day. The sales rep responded to emails and phonecalls very quickly. The products Palace Decorators carries have overlap with other local furniture stores, but their price is the lowest, and their service is the best. Before we found out that Palace Decorators has the best deals, we had also ordered some other furniture from other stores, that is why we have comparisons between stores. The couch itself was okay, but I couldn't really expect anything amazing since it was cheap, but it was on par with Ikea at most. We had to assemble the couch ourselves but it was missing some pieces in the package so we had to call them back. The customer service was amazing however. When we left them a voicemail regarding the missing pieces, they called back not long after and came back the next day to give us the parts we requested. They are very prompt and very nice! It's unfortunate we were not able to view the furniture prior to buying it but it at least meets our necessities for now until we can afford higher quality furniture. What a great find! We were shopping for a bed. After looking at lots of furniture stores, I concluded that they all have basically the same styles. So I started looking around for a good deal. I found Palace Decorators online and went to their office. Henry, the proprietor, has catalogs for a few manufacturers, so he actually has much more selection than you see on his website. I did some research on one of the manufacturers, and concluded that their quality was at least as good as what you'd get at Ashley. And Henry was selling it for less than half the price of what you'd pay for a comparable bed at Ashley. So we took a chance and ordered it. The result was great - Henry delivered it on time, himself, BY HIMSELF (talk about low overhead!). We're thrilled with the bed - looks good and is very solid. Keep up the good work, Henry! read more

Bought a dining set here after reading the yelp reviews and knew that we were going to be ordering off of catalogs instead of walking into a show room. Henry was very personable and made the selection process easy. He gave us a great deal and lowered the price even further when we paid cash. It was free delivery and no tax. The dining set was delivered the next day and my only issue is that it came a lot later than the original designated time. The lateness was for good reason though since the delivery guy originally picked up the wrong dining set from the warehouse. Henry caught the error and drove to the City of Industry himself to get the correct one and unfortunately got tangled up in Friday rush hour traffic. He was very apologetic when he finally arrived and the dining set turned out fantastic once we put it together. I went here Sunday but they were closed. I was a little weary about purchasing since it was merely a storefront and all I could see was a bunch of boxes through the window. Nevertheless, I ordered a vanity with a stool from them early yesterday morning. They had it on sale for $110 (from $150) and were offering NEXT DAY Free Delivery for the LA area. I took a chance and am so happy. In fact, the delivery guy called me at 7:30p and asked if I would like him to deliver it within the hour or wait til the next day. I was impressed. Super friendly and I had it same day. I open it, check for all the pieces and put it together myself this morning. No help from the boyfriend and it's super cute. I would think they would be comparable to Ikea, but it actually doesn't look as cheap and had directions that were much simpler to follow. If I can do it, anyone can. I bought a sofa a few weeks ago. I originally decided for one and because I wasn't sure about some things, I decided to call. Spoke with Henry, who was very helpful and answered all my questions. He offered to send me a link to a different sofa that was closer to the color that I wanted. The sofa was a bit pricier than my initial choice but this one was way better and had the color I wanted. So I switched. They delivered exactly on the day that I requested and during the time window promised. There are so many websites out there to choose from when it comes to buying furniture. I ordered a full size bed and frame online. After I placed my order, they called to inform me that the frame I ordered for $100 was not in stock, but that they would upgrade me to a different frame that was $120 and still only charged me the $100 price. The bed was delivered the next day. The delivery was about 45 minutes after they told me they would be there, but since they were delivering it during rush hour on a Saturday, I'm not too bothered by that. The delivery guy (I think his name is Henry? So sorry I forgot) was very nice and he assembled the bed frame for me for an extra $30 charge which was a nice convenience. I had just spent the entire day moving into my apartment and was too tired to deal with assembling anything. Later on, I discovered that a full size bed was not big enough for me, as I am pretty tall and my feet were hanging off the edge of the bed. I called back to see if I could exchange the mattress and box spring out for a queen size and just pay the difference. (I couldn't return the full size frame because it had been assembled, but I can understand that, so I'm just going to re-sell the frame on my own) They were very accomodating and helped me find what I actually needed, and then they delivered my queen size bed and returned the full size for me. I found this place through a craigslist ad that they posted in the furniture section and I'm very glad I did. They are nice, accomodating and they sell a good quality product. I'm definitely going to be doing business again with them very soon when I order a new couch and a desk. I would highly recommend this place. read more

I do not write reviews often, but I am writing one now, because this place really exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a TV stand that would look a bit nicer than your average Ikea furniture. I have a lot of Ikea stuff and although it has served me well, it looks cheap. So, after several days trying to find a nice used one on Craigslist, I came across these guys. I usually want to buy used, because you can get a better deal that way, but I just wasn't finding anything that suited my needs, so I finally caved and checked out some furniture sold "by dealer". I found a TV stand that looked exactly like what I was looking for on their website, the 4425, and at 250 dollars I felt it was reasonably priced... IF it looked like the picture. That's what I was weary about. There was no option to see it in person, so I was a bit skeptical. But I took the risk and ordered it. To my delight, the TV stand looks exactly like the picture, if not better! It looks like a high quality piece of furniture and I am no expert, but it seems to be real wood. It is extremely sturdy, nothing like Ikea, and the best part is: it is almost fully assembled already. Thank God! You just have to add the shelves and that's it. The service was also beyond excellent. I called them before the purchase and they reassured me the TV stand would be very sturdy and could carry a lot of weight. I have not placed the TV on it yet, but it certainly looks solid enough to carry it easily. And they delivered it for free and very prompt. They would have delivered it the next day, but I had to work, so they delivered it the day after that, and even earlier than I expected. So I got this bookshelf delivered to my work since they charge extra if it's outside LA. Got home to assemble it and when we opened the box we already noted it having a cracked. Didn't want the hassle to go to there store and have it replaced so I called and just asked for a discount since its's obviously damaged. Had a very good experience with these guys! We ordered a queen sleigh bed and a mattress. The total came out to only 460 (including tax), which is pretty affordable considering some frames cost about that much at other places. The mattress isn't perfect but for only $160, I didn't expect to be sleeping on air. The delivery was free (we live about 8 miles away) and it was very prompt. There was only one guy delivering, the brother of the owner, and he brought the items up to our place, even though they technically only do free drop off deliveries. We had asked about assembly prior to the delivery and it costs $30 extra for them to do it for you, but the manager assured us that it was very simple. After the guy left, we tried to assemble it ourselves but there was something wrong with one of the pieces. It lacked the holes to put the wooden slats in (pretty sure that is a manufacturing problem and of no fault of the store). We called the owner and he said that he could send his brother back to see if he could fix it for us. Keep in mind we had an 8 pm delivery! We said it would be okay to wait, but they were very willing to return to help us. By the time he finished fixing the problem it was probably already 10 or 11 pm! Anyway, Palace Decorators has AWESOME customer service and competitive prices. I would definitely not hesitate to order from them again. We are going to need a tv stand soon... :) read more

WOW! My experience with Palace Decorators was so good I felt compelled to write my first review. Simply put, you will not find a better bargain than Palace Decorators. I was seconds away from ordering a sectional couch from a competitor until my brother stumbled upon palacedecorator.com. They had the same exact couch for HUNDREDS less and it included FREE DELIVERY. It was a no-brainer. And to complete the awesomeness, they delivered the couch the very next day! I have since placed several orders with Palace Decorators to help furnish my apartment, and every time my experience has been equally good. The customer service has been very friendly and helpful. Even though I was skeptical about the quality of the furniture because of the insanely low prices, it has really exceeded my expectations. Great deal! But my hands got lil tired to put all furniture together.

While I always appreciate small business and an owner taking the time to respond here are the facts: 1.) I absolutely 5,000% requested to have my bed assembled when I ordered this. I paid for it. And the day of the delivery all I got were apologies and was told my delivery was given to the wrong driver and that it should have been given to the driver who assembles. Any other response now, months after the fact, is either (at best) a misremembering or (at worst) a flat out lie. 2.) Again, they are obviously misremembering me, as I have a box spring. I've always had a box spring. I had a box spring when the bed was assembled and my mattress sits on a box spring as I type this. 3.) I maintain that I've had to fix this bed half a dozen times, the supporting poles under the slats aren't long enough to reach the floor and are pencil thin- I've had to wrap up part of a non-slip mat and try to also use this to fix stripped screws that won't remain in place and constantly end up on their side/falling apart otherwise they bang my wood floor each time I move or get in & out of bed. It's loud and annoying and feels completely unstable. I'm always afraid I'm going to go crashing to the ground at any moment. In short--their response has to be based off of confusing this order with another. Or they are just falsifying the past facts to cover their low quality product. Too bad. It looks good, just wish it didn't fall apart on me! Also- some lessons: the customer is always right and you get what you pay for. Them's just the facts, folks! Anywhooo--live & learn. read more

When I first got my red sectional couch from these guys I was so excited because it looked great. It's been about 8 months since I've bought it. In that time, I can feel the springs when I sit or lay on it and one of the chaise ottoman legs busted off. But he seems legit cuz I got all my furniture I ordered from him on time and exactly what I expected. So as long as yelp reviewers have good things to say about him, I'm gonna continue to shop for furniture through him. He gives really good deals. Like prices that can't be beat by far. As long as you know what you want and the warehouses he buys from has it in stock, you won't find a lower price. I had a terrific experience with Palace Decorators buying a bedroom set. Henry runs a small operation with a few employees, but that allows him to keep his overhead cost to a minimum and offer the best prices. I shopped around a 6 other furniture stores that were highly recommended on Yelp, but Henry gave the lowest prices (by a few hundred dollars) for the same products. The only minus is that his store front is small without a showroom, but this also helps him keep cost down. He was very patient and gave me honest advice about the furniture options. He had a lot of knowledge about the different furniture companies, the quality of construction, and worked with me on price ranges. He also accommodated my tight schedule and delivered on time -- he even picked up the furniture from the warehouse, delivered it to my apartment, and assembled it himself. I had a great experience with this store. I actually never went into the store, everything was online and over the phone. I was looking for a second twin bed to match my older daughters. I came across it at palace decorators for much lower price than the first place I ordered it. Henry was very helpful on the phone. He was honest and didn't try to up sell. He said I didn't need a bunky board even though I was going to get one. I also ordered a mattress. Everything arrived at the time I asked for it to be delivered and the delivery guy was so nice. Then I decided that the mattress wasn't what I wanted and opted for a natural mattress instead of this with chemical smell. Henry did not argue. Just told me to call his supplier who said to have it returned. He came himself to pick it up and gave me a FULL refund even though it was not his fault. These guys are good! One of the best buying experiences I had for buying furniture from a local store. Bought trundle bed with 2 mattresses for kids room. When they delivered the furniture, and i opened the packaging i realized one of the pieces had a large crack. No problem, it was delivered in a few days. After assembly I realised another issue, the mattress i purchased for the trundle did not fit under the bed, was too high to go inside. He replaced it in reasonable time. So I went to this store yesterday solely on the reviews of other Yelpers such as myself. It's definitely one of those "don't judge a book by its' cover" places. I was greeted immediately and was given the opportunity to browse their inventory on their website. It seems that their products are located at a warehouse in the City of Industry. It took me a while to decide on which twin bed I wanted for my son's room but the guy was very patient and told me to take my time choosing. There were several choices available at prices that were unbelievable!! I may never shop Living Spaces or Ashley again! I think I'll be going back to Palace Decorators for all my furniture needs. I got a twin bed with the mattress AND assembly for $220!! C'mon, that's unheard of!! I am sitting on my comfy new couch writing this review. I second the other reviews. Palace Decorators does not have an actual showroom, which made it admittedly difficult to decide what we wanted--not being able to test out the couch and see the actual dimensions made our decision a little tougher. We originally thought we wanted one type of couch, but then after talking to Henry about what was important to us, we opted for another one and are very happy with it. He spent a long time looking at lots of different options with us and helping us talk through our decision. We were able to look at fabric samples also to get an idea of what our couch would feel like. Because of the lack of showroom, the prices are hundreds of dollars cheaper than if you were to order from another vendor. This was good for us--given our limited budget we were actually able to order quite a nice couch. Be sure to ask if the price includes set up and delivery--some of the pieces we were looking at were not already assembled. Our couch included delivery and was basically already assembled, but he nailed the feet in when the couch arrived. Overall, a great experience and totally recommended! read more
