Do not go shopping here. What was most memorable, is the manager "Eddie" being extremely dismissive, arrogant, and unprofessional. We almost bought a couch there and actually decided not to because we were so turned off by his demeanor and how he spoke to customers and carried himself. We found a fantastic white leather couch elsewhere. Take your business somewhere else - they're rude and, I.e., when I asked if stain marks could be removed from a piece we were interested in he responded "it's an outlet" and walked away. It was very disappointing to want to purchase something at this outlet and be greeted with the most unfriendly rudest staff! The man working was literally standing behind a desk doing nothing with no customers and acted like every question I asked was just a big huge inconvenience that they couldn't answer. I would give this RH Outlet zero stars if I could. The complete lack of customer service is astounding. It's as if the employees are doing everything they can to avoid actually helping customers. The few people working here act like they're being forced to be there against their will--zero enthusiasm, zero effort, and definitely zero interest in answering questions or assisting with purchases. Good luck trying to get anyone's attention, let alone actual service. No one greets you, no one offers to help, and if you do manage to corner someone, they act annoyed that you dared to interrupt their social hour (or whatever it is they do instead of working). DISHONEST STORE OR COMPANY!!!! How can the "Original Price" of an item actually change? I can certainly understand the sale price or current price changing but they increased the original price as well? Was just here a couple weeks ago and wanted to buy this rug, but they changed the tickets with completely different pricing on the same item. Completely shady and dishonest. When I tried asking an associate, he was completely short and rude, and had no interest in explaining other than "we have no control of what the company does". They had it in stock so I drove and hour to see it in person and I'm glad I did but also very annoyed I traveled so far because it had a giant stain on it! I will save you the trip to this specific RH outlet. This location has the "worst" customer service I have ever experienced from any store. I have been coming here since they first opened the store, but the prices and customer service have been awful and ridiculous ever since they got a new store manager.  For a store that calls itself an "outlet", the staff behaves with entitlement of a retail flagship. Increasingly often, things are priced higher than they are online. I and have brought this to all of the employees' and managers' attention that they have informed me that, "if [I] don't like the prices, then I should just shop online." I do shop online, but it completely defeats the purpose of an "outlet." Yesterday, I came to purchase a desk. I had seen the desk a week earlier, but needed time to verify the dimensions. When I came back the desk seemed severely more damaged than the week prior. I had photos of the desk from the week prior and was able to confirm several new, large defects. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, she said that "this specific location" would not further discount the item to accommodate these issues, as it "violates store policy." If it truly violated store policy, I would understand, but this location is the only one that has ever made this claim. Furthermore, I was told that this outlet charges a premium for 'the convenience of getting an item right away and not paying for shipping.' Unfortunately, the manager went so far as to aggressively accuse me of damaging the desk myself for an increased discount, as if I weren't already checking out at the register regardless of the damage. When you are coming in to spend thousands of dollars on slightly damaged or defective items, you would think there would be some type of appropriate customer service, or at least appropriate policies to keep store managers from price gouging. You would think she works on commission from the way she acts. read more

Overpriced furniture. Don't get me wrong, I really like RH, but this outlet carries obviously used and damaged furniture and doesn't discount it enough. I encourage you to heavily inspect anything you're buying from here and you'll start to see what I mean. For example, the Maxwell couch is around 6000 dollars new (already overpriced for what it is, you can find similar couches at living spaces for 1/6 the price). Then go to RH Outlet and see it for $3K, except they obviously have wear and tear. No thanks. read more

I always love stopping by here to see what they have in store. You can say 50% or more and the items are in good condition. Very large location with a good selection of inside as well as outside furniture as well as a few decor pieces. Plenty of easy parking. This place is every bit as unfriendly as the other reviewers have said. The furniture is likely pulled from customer returns or undersellers from their showrooms. I felt like every piece I saw, there was a really good reason not to buy it - weird handles, rough finishes, scratchy fabrics - especially at those prices! Took my breath away with the $7k ugly sofas. There is one caveat - if you are remodeling your home and looking for bathroom cabinetry and the like - you may find something here. This was my first RH purchase! They had a pretty good selection of items, and get new shipments a couple of times per week (can't remember the days, since it varies by store). I saw a review about not being greeted upon entering. It was the same case for me, but I also wasn't being hounded or followed around the store by a pushy salesman. However, when I did approach the counter to ask for assistance, I received top notch service. Eddie looked through the store to find a piece that matched my criteria, educated me on the different fabrics and styles, and even looked online for me when I considered a full priced purchase vs outlet. I walked in not knowing exactly what I wanted and left knowing the different styles, composition, standard vs Lux sizes, and fabrics. They don't deliver, but they do provide a list of companies that will deliver for you. It's an outlet, so keep that in mind; and if you have your heart set on a particular item, keep checking with them, as well as the Long Beach, and Irvine locations. I called all of them and every associate that answered was friendly and checked their inventory for the piece that I wanted. They also provided their delivery days for new arrivals, since each store is different. With that said, my experience was positive and I will definitely return for more quality pieces. Don't fall for Cloud Dupes. If you want it discounted, be patient and keep checking with the outlets. read more

A great way to purchase incredible RH authentic items at a much more affordable price. At times it is frustrating because you will find only one nightstand and you need two, for instance, or you find a bed you like and it has some sort of defect, but for the most part they offer a great assortment of incredibly well made furniture and decor. They are so unprofessional. I was told that the price will go down on one of their damaged items by one of their sales people the next day. Next day I called to make sure the item is there and I was told yes and I asked them to hold it for me until I get there. Drove 2 hours and when I got there to get the item there was a Hold sign with my name on it and the same old price. I asked for the person in charge but he denied everything and said we do whatever we feel like doing. He was not willing to even hear to what I had to say. Super rude. My wife and I are on a quest for new furnishings so we thought it might be beneficial to check this outlet. Hands down, Restoration Hardware produces wonderful home furnishings but their merchandise can be very pricey. Their sofas and fixtures are very nice and high quality. As with any outlet you cannot view current inventory as it changes by the hour/day. You simply have to frequent and get lucky. If you happen to see something you like and it's in good condition you have to make a decision on the spot. My review is based solely on the quantity of selections (pretty good), the % discount and the ease with which to purchase. While we did not purchase anything on this visit I did see some bargains and potential future purchases here. For us, it was worth the look just to get an idea where we could realize some potential savings. read more

If you are looking for RH specific furniture, you can definitely find great pieces for a discount. As someone else said here, it is about timing and luck. My sense is that the 1-2 star reviews here reflect the fact that people are expecting this to be a regular store. It's not. They are really transparent in telling you that the items are returns or extras. So if you know that going in, you can actually find some greatly discounted RH stuff. We were able to find a few pieces in good condition-- that had we bought at the Weho RH would have been thousands more. We were excited to find it and hoping to find some nice furniture for our new home except the manager and staff were extremely unhelpful as we watched them ignore most of the shoppers. When we approached them they pretended not to notice us asking questions then when another couple finally got their attention they were rude. Horrible customer service. No one in the store cares. I was in the store today had couple questions and the sales referred me to the guy lead. Didn't get his name but he was tall and had dreadlocks was super rude. Whole time we we were talking to him about purchasing a $2000 coffee table, he was playing with his hair and looking at his nails not caring about a thing in the world. I came upon this Restoration Hardware Outlet location today when I went to Target in Culver City. I was really curious about it since I've been to many RH showrooms like the beautiful one in West Hollywood. Not exactly what was there before it, but it is a pretty big space inside--there are no separate rooms or even dividers, just one massive open concept showroom once you get inside. I came in to browse and was looking for a small side table and perhaps some smaller accessories which I could not see or find anything like small decor. There are TONS of sofas and sectionals literally taking up like 50% of the floor I remember. Also, lots of dining tables and many various chairs too. Saw a pair of revolving grey leather armchairs that looked divine at 60% off which was still quite pricey. Honestly, I was not really impressed with the selection of goods because there didn't seem to be much variety like NO linens or smaller decorative accessories, not one pillow in sight or any outdoor accents. There was some outdoor furniture pieces, but it didn't look like many at all. Literally no artwork except one huge modern white original piece marked at like 40% off or so and it was still like $3000+ I think. Nope. So overall, I came out empty handed because they didn't have much variety in the store, but if you need a sofa, sectional, armchair, or dining table then definitely check it out. Most of the items are customer returns so be prepared for some dings or scratches. I've heard the Long Beach Outlet one is better so I'll eventually make it down there one of these days. read more

When we entered we were like 'what's going on?' with maybe a homeless guy chillaxing on one of the $6000 sofa.... It was really cool inside so I guess this dude wanted to stay cool little bit.... Anyways, we were so happy to purchase our bed frame for about 80% less than original price and 1 light stand, too. We will definitely be back to find more incredible gems here. I have had a great experience every time I've been to the RH Outlet. Just like any other outlet, the selection varies. There are truly some great deals here. I got my dream sofa for almost 50% off retail. The perennials fabric is worth every penny. I have gotten all kinds of stains off of it, which is since it's white. I have no idea why the negative reviews. It's an outlet store, not a full service retail site, so of course salespeople are not going to be fawning. But they are helpful when you ask questions. As for the selection, well, it is all about timing. I've seen (and missed out) and great deals. I've also gone in there and found nothing to my liking. I finally made the trek to this outlet after watching all of my favorite interior designers brag about their RH outlets on youtube. I walked in and wasn't greeted. Then I asked a question about depth of the cloud couches to a sales person with silver shoes. They didn't walk me over to any couches to explain the difference of sizes. They said the charcoal one is narrow but all of the couches were the same color and looked the same to me. It was an unwelcoming environment where the salespeople didn't even want to waste a breath trying to make sales and commission. I wonder if they would treat me differently if I dressed up and had my hair blown out. I walked around and I saw half the lot with couches, bed frames, coffee tables and dining tables. The light fixtures were in boxes in shelves to the side. It was like a bargain hunt where you have to look on all edges to find out what the product is. There was a sad table by the register that had overpriced curtain hooks. I went to the rh location in Santa Barbara and they were much more friendly than this location. read more
