Beautiful establishment, sheek decor beautiful color scheme and floral arrangement. We were seated immediately and came in between brunch and Happy hour. We chose to wait the 10 minutes and went with happy hour.. I had the Rose($9) cocktail and ordered fried rice($11). The drink 10/10 the rice had potential good in flavor but it came out warm, not hot fresh being that happy hour just began and had a separate menu. There was also a heavy presence of oil that you could taste and visually see on the plate, that I couldn't enjoy it. Service was good and atmosphere relaxed, definitely a must see.
My wife and I came here on a late Saturday afternoon. We were seated immediately and our drink orders were taken. I had my usual drink, a diet coke. They had the small crunch ice that I prefer! They offer a daily selection of biscuits and todays selection was a toasted pimento. Sounded interesting and we have never tried anything like it so we took a chance. We also ordered a charcuterie board selection that was titled the butcher block. It had prosciutto, duck pate, an array of different cheeses that were all very good, some soft and creamy and others harder and sharper. I apologize because I don't remember the names of the cheeses. Trust me, they are all very tasty. This also came with pickled carrots which were good too. This board comes with biscuits but we were able to get our original order of the toasted pimento in its place. We also ordered some sliders. The sliders came with fries and those were the best fries we have had in a long time. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Perfectly seasoned, we couldn't stop eating them. The sliders were delicious. It was juicy and flavorful. Three sliders come with each order. Now again I apologize for the lack of photos in this review. The food looked so good we dug right in without taking photos, realizing our mistake too late. We highly recommend this place and we will be back.
Holy wow... great recommendation from Yelp. The attention to detail in this joint is stunning! From the first impression when we walked in to the quick walk by the bar on the way out, we were blown away. Great music (blues brothers vibe), loads of color and crystal, and I haven't even gotten to the food yet. The food... perfect brunch option. The poached eggs were silky and beautiful, the sauces were scrumptious, the chicken was juicy and flavorful... and the desserts were epic. I don't want to ruin the surprises for you, but you can't go wrong. Perfect portion sizes too. Top it off with friendly and personable service and our brunch at Palate was my favorite dining experience of the year so far!
WOW! We decided to get a bite to eat late Saturday afternoon in the Downtown Arts District, and wandered into Palate. In a sea of taverns and breweries, this was a total surprise, and a very pleasant one at that. This place is fit for royalty with the bold red and purple colors normally associated with the rich and famous. Even their center table under the luxurious chandelier is aptly named the Kings and Queens' Table. So much to see and appreciate: * Red and purple plush seating areas -- booths and tables * Center table for eight people under huge chandelier * Fully stocked bar and counter with bar stools * Supportive posts transformed into trees with twinkling lights in the branches * High end choices of dinnerware and stemware (check out the brands of the wine glasses) * Creative menu and delicious foods * Chandeliers everywhere, even in the restrooms * Waiting area with plush seating * Lot of art (owner's mother has incredible talent creating and curating) on the walls * Very attentive staff --- no lollygagging around. Everyone was hustling! We were hoping to have dinner, but dinner isn't served until 5 pm. To our delight, they have happy hour on Saturday! So we got a taste of their foods, and what we had was decadent and scrumptious. We will return to try the other foods which we are positive will be just as delicious if their happy hour menu is any indication. Needless to say --- what an incredibly impressive and wonderful experience that we want to repeat. And we'll bring friends!
Had a really lovely time at Palate Wednesday evening. Had a chill girls night. Enjoyed the $1 oysters to start and shared a butchers board. Personally wasnt my favorite board but the cheese were great and the biscuits were the star. Ellie was our server (name on the receipt so I hope it was her). She was wonderful to conversate with, attentive and provided great recommendations. Some of the cocktails have a fun presentation with different glassware and additions. Drinks were also dangerous~ well mixed. For a Wednesday it was mellow and a great place to talk with friends. Will definitely be back!
Omg!!!! This place is a gem! Food, service, ambiance A++++ Staff is extremely friendly from the moment I arrived. The shrimp toast was delicious and my Lucy in the Sky was amazing. If you're in the Arts District or just looking for a place to offer something different then this is the place for you. Love exploring the Art District of Vegas. So many great restaurants to try. We finally made for Sunday brunch at Palate. I can tell you it didn't disappoint. First of we made reservation and got a deal with inKind app to use. We paid our meal via the app and got reward back. Ok let's talk about the food. There is a pretty good selection on the menu. We decided to do family style and share our dishes- our waiter did offer if we like to increase the amount of sliders to cover all five us- decided to just order the dishes as is and we sliced it. We ordered oysters, biscuits, grits and gravy, longanisa sliders, and half bird. Love each dish. The chicken was moist and flavorful- it was accompanied by collard greens and amazing kimchi Mac and cheese. Biscuits is so good and came with flavored butter and jam. Longanisa sliders was juicy with accompanying season fries. We enjoyed the all you can drink mimosas. And our coffee was refilled by our attentive servers. Make sure to make room for dessert- we shared the deconstructed hummingbird and hot brownies with homemade made ube ice cream with coconut/pineapple sauce. Both dessert were perfect. We totally love the vibe- with live music- the singer was totally amazing - don't forget to tip him as well. Definitely coming back and will try dinner. Only thing in the art district is the street parking but pretty easy to find one.

So so so cute inside. You're really kind of taken back by all the vibes but it somehow all fits so well. They had a DJ mixing Rihanna, while I sit on purple velvet chairs looking at a menu that serve longganisa. The menu itself is so interesting, and you think omg that's kind of funny but then you taste the food! Your eyes widen and your jaw kind of drops because WHY DIDNT ANYBODY THINK OF THIS BEFORE??? I was sooooo happy with this meal. I had never been to the arts district, it was a nice sun day away from the strip with just as amazing food if you were on the strip. PLEASE do yourself a favor and visit!
Where do I start with how amazing this place is! The ambience is absolutely gorgeous! The staff is phenomenal. The drinks are deliciously and perfectly crafted. And the Longganisa sliders and short rib fried rice were definitely a delicious favorite! They have a wonderful happy hour weekdays 3 to 6 PM and I cannot wait to go back for brunch! The bar back Tyler was amazing, super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and his customer service skills were literally impeccable! Alex, our bartender was top notch and never skipped a beat. My first cocktail "The rose" was perfectly crafted super smooth and had a gorgeous presentation with a beautiful red rose. But don't sleep on the "Tea for 2" or 1 .... Absolutely gorgeous presentation and it tastes like no other! This is not your ordinary restaurant/bar in the art District. This place is truly a gem!
Quality/Quantity - Got lucky and they started a "Boards & Bottles" promotion today, Wednesday. So my wife insisted that we get this. Beef Tartare with a bottle of Finca Tempranillo to compliment it for only $25. What a great deal. We also ordered the following: Short Rib Fried Rice - Happy hour price and size. Sliders with Fries - Again, Happy hour prices and size. Overall all the food was good. And as light eaters, more than enough food for us. Oh, complimentary cotton candy with the check, thanks. Ambiance - Cool new place, see pictures. Table, booth, lounge, and bar seating available. Open kitchen. 3 unisex restrooms. Also thanks for the sinks outside of the bathrooms. Open 5 days a week, see website for specific hours. Closed Mondays & Tuesdays. Service - 6 stars, Zach, a day one employee was so professional and good! Took care of us from the minute we walked in to when we left. Also, we met the owner, who went straight to work as the expeditor. Price - $52 + tip; I would even say inexpensive for everything we got! Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since May of 2024.
Exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble on in Las Vegas. The interior strikes a great balance of lively and refined -- think vibrant colors, plush seating, crystal chandeliers, and walls adorned with local artwork you can actually buy. There's even an open kitchen and a cozy corner with a library of cookbooks to browse while you wait for your food. Service here is attentive and genuinely friendly, embracing that Southern-meets-Vegas hospitality vibe without any of the fake bits. The team made us feel like a welcomed guest. As for the food: from imaginative small plates like scallops "tiger style" with coconut leche de tigre to the show-stopping "Southern Hospitality" large-format fried chicken with sides, every bite felt thoughtfully crafted and full of personality. There's modern Americana with cultural twists on every corner of the menu, and I still can't stop thinking about the creative boards and wagyu. Great ambience, excellent service, and food that's fun, flavorful, and just quirky enough to make you smile. Highly recommend booking a reservation -- your taste buds will thank you.

We love the Arts District and amazing food, so this restaurant is a dream come true! The ambiance is romantic and eclectic with Alice in wonderland vibes. This amazing little spot in the Arts District is an absolute must!!! It's bright and open, and the furniture is adorable, with whimsy and fancy. Service is outstanding, everyone is attentive and honestly, listen to and take their recommendations, there was zero disappointment. Cannot wait to go back to try all the things I was planning on getting. We were not planning on the chicken dinner, with perfectly fried chicken, kimchi mac and cheese, collard greens and the biscuits. But it was all so amazing, the flavors and spice and all the things! So. Damn. Good!!! Then, THEN, we got the hummingbird dessert, again, by recommendation, and again, every texture, flavor and the presentation were over the top. This is our new go to!! read more

This place is beautiful. Giant chandeliers, velvet seating, greenery. The service was exceptional. Our server was very attentive, made excellent recommendations and handled our large group like a pro. Also he had the best hair adorned with flowers. Super fitting for an arts district restaurant. What a gem of a restaurant! Newly opened in the Arts District, @palatelasvegas is a must for happy hour or dinner! We thought we walked into an art gallery with beautiful drinks and delicious food. The bartender Isaiah gave us little espresso martinis on the house as soon as we sat at the bar. @agentlei ordered The Rose and I opted for the Old Fashioned. Both looked and tasted amazing. We then ordered everything on the happy menu: the daily dip with chicharrones, return of the Mac, pork bao bun, smoked salmon Rillette and two Longganisa Sliders. The customer service from zack, the hostess and the gentleman at the bar was amazing! our cocktails were great and super fun! My experience was great. The mac and cheese and biscuits were the best I have ever had! The fried chicken was amazing and as good as Yard Bird at Bellagio with a lower price. Cornbread. Bao. Buns. Run, don't walk. Sterling Buckley is a culinary genius. I don't know how he figured the buns out, but they are pure magic. The Roasted Pork Shoulder, Lady in Green Salad (with in house made ricotta), Queso de Saganaki (who combines those two?) With house made roti, Tiger Style scallops, and the blueberry cake with sunflower seed brittle and cotton candy were all perfection. An explosion of flavors in the best way, with gorgeous decor. Forget the crazy lines and 2 hour waits at the Strip and enjoy the Vegas Arts District. You walk into a live pianist and singer as entering the venue with a beautiful voice. We at the gravy and grits, shrimp toast, and banana French toast. Gravy and grits was my fav because I'm a Californian with a Southern Heart. Food was very tasty, warm, and with great presentation. And then they give us a cotton candy for dessert! A+ service from our server Jill. We went to Arts District and came back within less than 2 hours. I'm almost too speechless to write this review, but this place is absolutely phenomenal! Went for Sunday brunch, and the decor and ambiance was wonderful. The live music was excellent as well. The service was impeccable from start to finish! Our waiter, Maurice, was so welcoming, friendly, thorough, patient, and personable! One of the owners stopped by our table a number of times as well. Maurice offered wonderful suggestions for food and drinks! We tried the Rose, Lucy in the Sky, and Spicy Lil Mama.. loved all 3 and the presentation for the first 2 were awesome! The spicy lil mama was my favorite because I like a stiffer drink. Now on to the food.. my goodness, idk where to start. The biscuits and jam were scrumptious, delectable and cooked perfectly! The fried chicken is finger licking good.. cooked perfectly as well, and OMG the Buck Sauce!!! The greens and kimchi Mac and cheese are heavenly sides! I thoroughly enjoyed every single thing that we ordered. My expectations were exceeded! The portions were generous for 2, and we even had food to take home because we were stuffed. As a local, I'm not crazy about any place in town for brunch, but this place is a game changer. I will absolutely eat brunch here religiously from now on! I celebrated my birthday at Palate this past Sat and I couldn't have had a better experience! The food was diverse and delicious and we tried a lot of things including the shrimp gnocchi, fried chicken with Kimchi Mac, scallops done 2 different ways, sliders, charcuterie, short rib, mushroom ravioli, and the pork. I also had the rose cocktail which was delicious and served with a real rose which is a lovely touch. Our server was genuine, attentive and super helpful and there was also live music that was great. I'd definitely recommend and I'll definitely be back!! read more

I came yesterday to celebrate my birthday here and I had the best time in my life I'm not easily impressed and I'm the biggest picky eater soon as we walked in we was greeted by Monica her energy was off the chain our table wasn't ready yet so she sat us by the bar with Alex he greeted us right away brought us our still water and complimentary vodka expresso shot once our table was read Zach the server came to get us the table he sat us at was amazing BUT!!!!! It's my birthday so I had to go bigger they have this amazing round table in the middle of the floor with 6 beautiful king and queen chairs I had to have it you must have 5 or more in your party to sit there but hey I'm Teddy I have to try right Zach said hold please came right back and said it's yours my eyes lit up so big haha then here comes Michelle our other server her and my girl bonded like no other I was so impressed notice I haven't even started talking about the food that's all customer service haha we ordered drinks I had the Lucy in the skyy highly recommend the drink doesn't just look good it was great ever dish we had was definitely outstanding including the salad yeah I said a salad hahaha probably the best birthday I had in long time and thanks to them I'll never forget such an amazing experience thank you all so much again read more

In Vegas for a tournament and a group of us picked a few restaurants that we wanted to try out while in town. I'm glad we found Palate. From the moment you walk in until you leave. An amazing experience. Had a feel of being in the art district with local art on the wall. We had shareable portions to include the biscuits, sliders, and table side pulled pork. Which were all amazing. The service was outstanding as well. We'll definitely come back. read more
