12 inch pepperoni sausage pizza
Sandra M.

My go to for a gluten free pizza. The gluten free pizza comes in a 10inch size. The crust is AMAZING. The Carey out window is easily accessible and has 15 min pick up parking in front.

18-inch, thin, crispy sausage pizza

hands-down, best pizza in the Chicagoland area the food is phenomenal. The service is excellent. and I make it a tradition to get Pizza from here every year for my birthday.

Sicilian Shrimp & Calamari

We had the Sicilian shrimp & Calamari, deep dish pizza, and tiramisu. The shrimp and calamari were very good with roasted bell peppers. Very fresh and tasty. The deep dish was very decadent in flavor. The sauce is definitely on the sweeter side though. I found myself adding some salt and Parmesan so it would tone down the sweetness a little, but I still really liked the pizza. I might just be used to more acidic sauces in general.... The tiramisu was decent. The best part was the plating. Very nice flavored cream and caramel drizzle came with. Overall, we're happy with our choice of deep dish while visiting the Chicago area!

Chicken breast scalllopini

The food and the ambience are superb! The first time I went there the service was excellent. It was a little bit more crowded today and our waitress was spread a little bit too thin but when she was at the table, she was very courteous and kind. There's nothing negative to say about the place. It is quaint. It is cozy. It is comfortable. The only thing that I have a negative about is the parking. It's difficult to find parking if there are a few families that have shown up in groups to have dinner there. Other than that an excellent experience try the tiramisu it's to die for.

Food was good with nice generous portions. I did take out food was fast especially for the crowd that was there. I would definitely go back the soup was nice to. Didn't care for the garlic gnocchi wasn't great.

Baked Pasta

The plates are ginormous and so you may want to order one and share it with your friends. But if you love to eat then by all means order a full plate. The pizzas are sooo soo delicious especially the sauce. I'm a big fan of the sauce so I like to order it with a little extra sauce. The place is very lovely and the service is top notch. Very helpful and kind service. The food is fresh and the meatballs are phenomenal.

Not sure what happened here but I picked up this pizza and when I got home it looked like this. It was laying on a flat surface. Probably not going back here again, something has changed and paying $40 for this trash is not worth it.

Bruschetta

Palermo's 95th is as old school as it gets and easily in my top 5 pizzas in Chicago. We had the Buffalo Chicken Pizza with spicy breaded chicken in Cool Ranch sauce and melty mozzarella, a classic sausage pizza (with the best sweet red sauce!), and tomato bruschetta. Everything was spot on from the crust to the sauce to the toppings. Service was great, the vibe is cozy and nostalgic, and you can tell this place has been doing it right for decades. If you want classic Chicago pizza with genuine hospitality, this is the spot.

Very slow service we sat for at least 20 minutes before anyone approached us. The salad was sub par. Not impressed.

Looking for a venue to have a 50th birthday sometime in February 2020. What is the cost for about 60-70 people and what are the dinner options?…

Peace and love, everyone!!…read more It's been a long minute since I left a review, so I'm happy to talk about a new food place! My wife and I finally ordered from Paisans Pizza in Oak Lawn, something we've been wanting to do for a long minute. As I have been working out and watching how much I eat since December, I very much look forward to having a 'big back day', as my daughter says! So the online ordering process was very easy. I ordered a medium cheese pizza, a medium sausage pizza, the Southwestern egg rolls, and finally some garlic parmesan wings. When I went to pick up the food, it took a few minutes to find a parking space as there are no spaces for pick-up orders. But when I went in there, nice ambiance with the planes, the cars, and the camper, which is where I had to pick up my order from. The place was jumping (I was there about 6pm on Saturday), and it seemed like a nice overall vibe. Ok so I pick up my order and get back to the crib! First, the pizza: both pizzas were really good. Nice amount of cheese, nice amount of sausage, for both, nice amount of sauce. Now the pizza was good, let me be clear, but on the box it says the 'best pizza in the world'. So my honest opinion is that is it better than all the other pizza places in the area (Domino's, Nonna's, etc)? YES...easily! Is Paisans better than Beggars Pizza? I say yes, my wife says no. Either way, we both agree that they have some good pizza! The garlic parmesan wings lived up to the hype. Crispy wings, nice amount of seasoning, not overpowering. As for the Southwestern egg rolls, this was the only thing I ordered where I was like 'meh'. The shell wasn't really crispy, I think it was a bit bland, and the sauce cup had opened up and spilled in its takeout box. Put it this way...Chili's Southwestern egg rolls are much better, by comparison, in terms of flavor. All in all, this was not a bad eating experience. The food was good all around, and for me, only the egg rolls could have been better. Also, the food was a little on the expensive side....so that is something to keep in mind also. So, does this mean we'll be back? Absolutely! I visited the South Side with family and wanted to try out Vito and Nick's for years. I finally got…read morethe opportunity to go a few weeks ago. I absolutely love their tavern style pizza! The cracker thin crust complements the thin layer of cheese and toppings. They've been doing this for decades so they have their pizza and entrees down packed. This is definitely a neighborhood joint with an extremely popular rep with locals and tourists. I enjoyed taking in the old school vibe and looking at family photos lining the walls from decades past. One thing especially stood out regarding décor and that was the carpet lining the walls! Street parking is the only thing available. They are cash only and they have no ATM. Come prepared.

3 stars is ok in Yelp land, and that is the most Vito & Nick's Pizzeria deserves. Arrived 4:40 pm…read moreMonday afternoon. Reasonably pleasant waitress gave us estimate of 30 minutes for a large pizza. Right on the button, though it's not clear to me why it should take so long to bake a very thin crust pie when there are 20+ people in the dining room. The pizza was mediocre at best. If you like cracker-style crust, that helps. However, the sauce had little flavor to it and modest amount of cheese. Dining room tables are very close together; we could move around them ok, but when the joint is rockin' and full, it's very tight. We had to try the pizza but the sandwiches and some dinners are very reasonably priced. Extremely small bathrooms. V&N might be a legend and it's great to exist after more than 100 years, but there's no reason for me to return. Decent size parking lot on south side of restaurant.
