Second visit to Palio's. Previous meal was about 3 years ago. Quality of the food today was considerably worse than last time. I had the chicken pesto sandwich and fries today. The portion of chicken was not a value at all for a 15 dollar sandwich. Very little chicken or pesto on a chicken pesto sandwich. I realize that food prices are higher post-Covid; but this is an embarrassment. Also, no ketchup on tables. Asked for ketchup for my fries and was brought a 1 oz. plastic ramekin of ketchup that was adequate for about 3 or 4 fries. It was ok. Didn't love it or hate it. I've eaten there twice now and had two different meals with different appetizers. Again, it was ok. The wings were huge and meaty but the sauce was lacking. Mango habanero was so bland I tasted no mango and there was no heat. The buffalo sauce had heat to it and it was barely measurable with and spices. I could go on but I think you get the message. What gives zero if I could literally worst fucking service I've ever had to put up with that a restaurant for somebody to blatantly ignore you and start busting a table instead of taking your drink order after you've already asked for your drink order to be taken five minutes prior is absolutely ridiculous. She walked past us 5 times and never bothered to greet us or tell us she would be with us in a min. When trying to address it with the manager and he wanted to argue that she was busy. No she was bussing a fucking table instead of taking our drink order for 10 fucking minutes after I started keeping tract of time because they were taking what felt like a long time. read more

Food is good. Extra charge to use a credit card seems like nickel and diming the customers. They also charge extra if you pay for a gift card. Went there to get a $20.00 gift card and was charged over the 20 dollars due to charging it on my credit card. Not happy about that. Our family went to this restaurant to celebrate our granddaughter's birthday. The food was cold. Had to have one meal heated up. The service not ok. Never came back to seeing everything was ok. Had to ask for silverware after an appetizers. Pizza didn't taste good. Had to have waitress return so to order dessert. She left after one person ordered. Never got our drinks refilled. The dessert must of been frozen. It was dry and watery. The icing was almost liquid instead of creamy. After all of this they charged $3.74 for paying with a credit card. Palio's was a great experience, my fiancée and I went here on a casual date night and will definitely be back! It was very busy but we never felt like we weren't being tended to. From start to finish our waiter Trystan made sure we were taken care of. We got the dry rub wings, and they were some of the best wings in Amarillo. Big, juicy and tons of flavor and this places knows how to do ranch. I ordered a super customized pasta order and Trystan didn't miss a beat. My fiancée got wine and some ziti and she loved it! The manager Shaun was attentive and checked on us twice and made sure to wish us a good evening! These guys were stand up folks. All while they were slugging away! We will be back! read more

It was my niece that first mentioned how good this place was but it took me awhile to get over here and try it out. In fact, I didn't even know where it was until I happened to be down at OfficeMax Googling places to eat and saw that I was only about half a mile from it. I've been to the United next door but guess I just never noticed this place. I don't eat pizza much anyway. But when I looked it up I found the poppers looked really good and since I wasn't really hungry I thought maybe just some poppers would be enough to feed me. However, when I got in there I decided to go with the Greek bread. It isn't really bread, not like a roll with spread on it like garlic bread would be or something. It's more like those little round toast circles that are about the size of silver dollars or a little bigger. There were eight of them, as shown in my picture. Each one had chopped tomatoes or bruschetta on it, green pesto sauce, sprinkled mozzarella and feta cheese, tons of delicious garlic and possibly other things but those are the things I could identify without looking at the menu. At first I was disappointed because they were kind of soggy and I couldn't pick them up and eat them like finger food, but I ended up using my fork and they turned out to be really good. I wouldn't want to kiss or even hug anyone for the rest of the evening because of the strong garlic but they were really delicious. The poppers looked good in the picture so I want to go back and try them next time. My waitress, Lauren, was excellent. Oh, and it was Happy Hour so I ordered a $2.50 light Coors. I actually think a glass of wine would have matched better with the garlicky food but the beer was good, too. read more

I've live close to here and love this place, they serve food I can eat! I can't have gluten or dairy so they are able to accommodate my allergies. There is plenty to choose from on the menu for the normal eating person who has no allergies. They have specials pretty much every day of the week. The employees are polite and check on you every so often.The manager will even wait tables and get to know customers. You will always get greeted at the door when you enter & when you leave. Don't forget to check your ticket; my husband ordered something that was on the happy hour menu and I didn't know.
