DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY AND NEVER GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE. Once you walk to this shop everything will seem great, but don't be fooled. I came here on dec04 and i was going to leave the country on dec15. So the manager told me to get a membership for a month for 89$ then she will make an exception for me to cancel on dec015 since i'm leaving the country. Here is what hapenned. Today it is dec15 and i came to cancel the membership and she told me: ohhh, sorry i can't cancel it until the next auto payment. What that means is that i will be charged another month and the promise she gave me was just some bullsh**t to get me signed in and rob me. read more

I've been coming here for a month now and the customer service is awesome. They are very attentive. The only annoying thing is they have one silver bed that is good. The other is broken and doesn't have facial bulbs anyways. Wish the owner would replace it. It makes for longer lines. But overall this place is worth it. read more

They are full of tricks to pull out money from your account. Very tricky be careful. All the girls there have different answers to a same question and confused me. When i signed up, they tried to charge me extra 20$ and I asked the girl what is it used for and she said " oh it is just the fee that every body has to pay" If you really want to buy tanning products, order from amazon at least 20-40$ cheaper than theirs. If you want to cancel your membership , they dont do it for you, you will have to call their cooperate office. If you freeze your account they charge at least 7$ monthly, and you cant use it towards monthly membership which is so weird. You can only use it towards their overly priced products. read more

I was referred to this tanning salon by a friend of mine, she kept telling me how great the places is so I finally went. When I went to see the facility The girls were very inviting. I had a few questions and the girls answered all of them and informed me about other skincare products that would benefit my tattoos. I have been tanning at Palm Beach Tan for about 6 months now ans absolutely love my experience so far. Just this past Saturday I came to tan and had forgotten to bring my tanning lotion. Galina went above and beyond her job to work with me on choosing a product and even offered me the last tanning spray (unopened) she had purchased earlier in the day because she wanted me to try it. Their spray tan is very uneven and when it fades, I looked like a giraffe because I got spots all over. I should have tried out their spray tan 1st prior to getting a membership.I can't say that I got suckered into getting the membership but I warn that you read the fine prints. I did not cancel until after the 25th of the month. I am now forced to pay 2 months additional prior to the cancellation being in effect. 1 star had nothing to do with my negligence in reading the contract as I blame myself for that. But this is why it's a 1 star. I paid $40 for the visit and after forgetting to give me the change, I went back and there weren't any notes in the system regarding the transaction. When the lady who forgot to give me my change returned, she said she will call me when she figures it out. She called and told me my change was there waiting for me and that she had notated the system. I went back today, and another lady says that their system shows it as a store credit and forced me to use it on an item. I was done with them at that point and just wanted out of there. Very unorganized, forced to get 2 additional horrible looking tans to avoid just giving them free money for 2 months. Don't waste your time and money here to get uneven tans. read more

Love the ease of coming here even during my lunch breaks. The beds are always clean and readily available. I wish there was a closer location to me in south county though! All the girls are super helpful and their tanning tips have yet to disappoint. I recently tried the spray tan and I've become a new fan. Now I want to keep my golden bronzed skin from the spray tan instead of having to tan all the time! Highly considering upgrading just for this feature. I do wish headphones were provided, and on some beds the music outlet doesn't work very well. Other than that i'm very happy with my experience here! read more

Me and a friend came here before going on our spring break trip. Neither of us had been there before or had gotten spray tans before so we didn't really know what to expect. The girl at the front desk was nice but seemed very overwhelmed by all the people coming in and there being only one of her. She only cleaned the tanning machine with a towel and her foot and then hung the towel back up. We were told first spray tans were free but were charged $35. Not cool. read more

Best spray tan ever at this place! Very reasonable prices, and NO STREAKS at all! And this is the first place that's ever offered to give me the nose plugs. You really don't want to be breathing in those chemicals. Their beds are great too. They're always very clean. I have the monthly membership which is a really great deal because you can tan as much as you like for the month and even get a free spray tan with the membership. The mystic spray tan alone at other places is usually around $25-35. But the machine at this salon is the best quality one I've ever used hands down! And I've tried almost every single tanning place in Costa Mesa and Santa Ana. Sadly, I'm a "tanaholic". Or is it "tanorexic?" But I only tan in the Winter to have a nice base color for Spring. My only suggestion to the manager would be it would be nice if they provided samples of their tanning lotions to try them. Even if they cost $3.50 each, people would buy them. All of their tanning lotions are very pricey but that's typical with any tanning salon. Other than that, no complaints. And lastly, MICHELLE is a total sweetheart! She works so hard and is always so friendly, personable and helpful. I'm amazed how professional and patient she is even when she gets swamped and is super busy and working by herself, she never gets frazzled or stressed. Michelle and all the gals at the front desk seem to really care and go above and beyond the call of duty for customers and for this I feel they truly deserve 5 stars. Happy Tuesday friends, well it was a happy day until I invited two girls to join me for lunch and then a spray tan at palm beach tan Costa Mesa on harbor blvd! I gave them each a coupon to use and brought them in. It was terrible from the second we step foot in this place! We weren't greeted at all and when my friend said we are here to tan and showed here coupon the girl behind the counter Brittney asked for their ID's or CDL's as if the were criminals! She explained that the coupons were for new customers. They were new customers at this time. She looked him up in the computer and said oh I saw you came in 2019 so you can't use the coupon. The girls weren't denying that they had been there before and they both actually wanted to sign up but because they were treated like criminals with such a horrific rude attitude neither girl signed up for a membership I was humiliated and it ruined our whole fabulous Tuesday lunch and tanning experience that we had planned the worst part is we told everybody at our work that we were going to do this and when the girls came back with no tan we had to explain to our entire staff what had happened. I told Brittany how horrible she handled the situation today and that she just ruined our day and I hope she learns from this if she wants to make sales and somebody brings in new clients welcome them in! Attitude is everything! If you want a nice tanning experience select a different location, with nice employees , and newer equipment! read more

Everyone here is always nice and sweet and I love their spray tan. But last night I came in around 8pm after a really long and stressful day at work. Michaela greeted me and asked me how my day was. I said, "oh it was a really stressful one." As I was walking out from my spray tan, she handed me a gift card to the salon and said "I hope your day gets better." I've worked in customer service for a long time and I really felt that she went above and beyond...and she actually cared how my day was, and didn't just ask me as a formality. Formerly Paradise Tan this place was nice enough to honor a tan I paid for at Paradise. I am not fond of the "pre paid" packages or the finger print scanner(which I do not know what that is about) but I did use my tan from the prior owner yesterday. They changed things up a bit here but still not that warm or inviting. I use Mystic and I did like that the machine is updated and has a heating system once it sprays you which seems to have a better lasting look. I used dark and am very pleased, so far. Disappointment, I noticed when machine started I felt nothing on my right side and today my right arm and hand are not tanned.. I thought the girls were nice and may come back and try again but if they keep my credit card on file as the only way to pay...then no thank you. We will see how long my mystic lasts, zero smell which is great and hopefully this will be a better place. read more

I was a member at Electric beach which closed and sold my sessions to this place palm beach tan. I went for the first time last night and the guy working was nice. I went to tan again today for the second time and these 2 girls were working. One had long dark hair. She was nice enough. The other was very rude. She had shorter hair and I heard the other girl say she was the assistant. I hope not asst manager. She said I can not tan until it's been 24 hours. Which I've never heard of. So I asked if I could buy one session to avoid the computer problem with 24 hours. She told me I had to buy a package. I didn't want to buy a package because I still have sessions remaining. She told me "sounds like you're having a personal problem. I'm gonna let you figure that out". I could not believe she said that to me. I asked about buying sessions and the way she continued to speak to me in her sarcastic ways only upset me to the point of leaving. I hope the owner reads my review and calls me. I'd really like to discuss my experience. I understand the rule about 24 hours. But stick to the rules. Don't try to sell me a membership when I already have unused sessions and I'm a potential new customer who just got burned by another tanning salon that closed with no notice. I think the girl with the long dark hair knew better but she just laughed at everything the rude one was saying. Very very unprofessional. Unnecessary. Bad for business. read more

I didn't have a pleasant experience here. The employee tried to charge me $75 for a cocktail tan (one regular bed and one spray tan) but was able to magically drop it down to $40 after I told her no way. Should have known to walk out right then and there. My first tan in the regular bed went fine, but when I went in for my spray tan, a tiny bit of spray came out at first, and then none at all the rest of the time. After telling the employee about the situation, she called her boss and it became clear that the tanning solution had not been changed and was very low. However, instead of comping me for another spray tan, the girl told me with a fake smile that it was low but mumbled that I should still see the a tan in 5-8 hours. Needless to say, I never got any tan! $40 wasted (could have been $75 if I hadn't known better!) and I feel like I've been scammed. Won't be coming back here... there are way too many other great tanning salons in Orange County, so I won't be wasting my time and money at this place again. read more

Horrible I signed up for a pass and never used it for 3 months. So I called to cancel it about 4 or 5 times. Left my number and name multiple times and I still have not gotten a response from them. Of course the took out the next months so now that's 4 months and no tans. Horrible management and customer service. I will be going to the other one on 17th in Costa Mesa. I spoke to that manager Morgan and she was the best and helped me out with everything. If I could I would give this one a negative 20 stars. They will never see my face again. My rating is simply based on customer service. I have not had time to come in for the last 3 months. When I tried to go in and cancel the girl told me she would freeze my account and then credit me 3 months of not being charged since I had only been in all about once. The following month came around and I was charged, again. I called and they said they would freeze my account, again, and again be credited another two months since I have not been in to tan in 3! And now a new month has started and again today I was charged!!! I am so irritated. I was told I would not be charged and have since been charged every single month. I have spoken to their manager and she was the one who said I would not be charged and now today all their assistant manager could tell me was that she would have her manager contact me but that was all she could do for me and would not issue me a refund! I think the customer service here is horrible. I am leaving out of the country and the last thing I want to worry about is being charged for another month! I just wanted a refund I am so tired of being charged $50/month and I have only tanned twice!!!!! You blew it palm beach tan, I hope the manager actually contacts me again and gives me my well deserved refund. If not, corporate will definitely be hearing from me. read more
