I was starving at work so decided to go to the hotel by work because normally hotels will have a fairly inexpensive to-go section for breakfasts. Not so. No menu prices should have been a give-away. So I order a yogurt parfait (that was almost all granola with some hard pieces that I think used to be dried dates) and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. I knew it was going to be an issue when they asked how I wanted my egg. On a sandwich...that's how I'd like it. Weird question, but alright. Oh, and I'd like it on wheat, please. I go to pay, and about fall over. You're kidding me. Whatever, fine. I already ordered and was running late. Except then I get to work, and take a look: 1. Cup Of Yogurt - almost completely full of granola 2. Egg Sandwich - over-hard egg in between two double-slices of bread. The cheese was melted inbetween the slices of bread. WTF? Oh, and NO BACON. The only thing I will grant them is that they gave me a roasted tomato (really yummy) and some hash browns on the side, so it was like a full meal. However, that was not at all what I asked for. I'm not only disappointed in the price, but I'm also disappointed in the food itself - Breakfast is the easiest meal of the day, people. I guess I'll just have to find somewhere else for it.

Lunch: I had the beer battered fish sandwich. Fish was obviously from the freezer. When served it was gluey. I also ordered the Starbucks Tazo tea, but I was served a tea pot with a Lipton tea bag. The waitress then explained that they didn't have any Tazo. I was still charged the full Tazo price for a $0.15 teabag. Breakfast: Had the buffet for $15.99. There was the choice of powdered scrambled eggs, powdered egg omelet with spinach and a cheese of some sort (it was orange at least), hard as rock sausage links, cold-overcooked bacon, over-boiled "home style" potatoes, oat glue and the various continental style breakfast sundries. Basically what cheaper hotels give you for free, except this was not as tasty. Quick tip - if you can go anywhere else, do so. The food here is terrible *and* overpriced. I wouldn't go as far as to say this is hands down the best roast beef sandwich I've ever had but the notion that actual care was put into the preparation of your food somehow just makes it taste a little bit better. For the price and convenient location I certainly see myself coming back here in a pinch.
