This is a very good Thai restaurant. My husband and I had dinner on a Tuesday evening. We had popcorn chicken, pad Thai, and Chicken TomKa soup. They were all delicious. They have a decent collection of beverage. I had hot green tea and my husband had hot black tea. Most room good quality. We will definitely be back to try the other items in the menu. I usually go here and the food and service is great. But this one time I went the server was not welcoming at all and she rolled her eyes at me. We really enjoyed the foods today. We dined outdoor and ordered beef drunken Noodles, tum yum soup, orange chicken, beef salad and mango sticky rice for dessert-- all were very good except the tum yum soup a little too sour for my husband. It was delightful that the owner came and chat with us and the servers were friendly. Overall, we like the food at this location much better than the Lake Elsinore location. Terrible or rather non-existent customer service. The first time I ordered here I wasn't super thrilled with how the food tasted but attempted to give Palm Thai a second shot. I won't be going back. I walked in the restaurant and stood there with a friend waiting for someone to seat us. None of the staff even acknowledged us. They didn't even appear to be busy. The waitress stopped and chitchatted with another server all while we were waiting. Someone else came in and sat down and a waiter helped them while we were still being ignored. I have been to this location a few times. The garlic pepper chicken is great, my favorite when it comes to Thai food. The orange chicken is NOT white meat, which is odd for Thai. I'm pretty sure it come pre breaded and cooked here because they won't substitute for chicken breast. This alone is the reason I will keep looking for the best Thai food in the valley. Good food . I got the papaya salad , I liked that it only tasted like lime and no fish sauce.but I kind of miss the funk of dried shrimp . Also no chilis just sambal and sriracha which can be over powering in flavor not spice . read more

We had the chicken satay skewers which were delicious, then we had the Red curry with steamed rice also very good but the sauce could have been thicker. This place is sooo tasty! I got the panang curry with chicken (medium spice), I love spicy and the medium was perfection! It had plenty of chicken and veggies. I also got the spring rolls and they were so refreshing with their fresh ingredients! I had to pick up my order, which was not a bad thing. I wanted to like this place, as it is close by, but unfortunately I am being generous with three stars. Some may like this type of Thai cuisine but not me. I have eaten Thai food all over the country and this does not stand with the better restaurants. The shrimp salad rolls were tasteless, although they at least pulled the tails off the shrimp before rolling them up. The Tom Kha Gai soup was not seasoned correctly, although it had too much shredded chicken in it. There needs to be a lime presence that was missing, and more chunks of ginger also. The Thai Fried rice was mushy as it was probably just heated up for my order, way overcooked. It did have some chunks of various seafood in it, but these cost an extra $5! And they left the tails on the shrimp, so you had to stop to pull them off when you tried to eat the dish. Not something I like to have to do. This place is very expensive compared to its competitors. The best part of the meal was the Garlic Beef, which had a lot of flavor and was shaved thin, so it was easy to eat. All in all, I was underwhelmed and will continue to go to the best place in town, Thai Orchid, even though it is much further away. read more

Not impressed at all. I phoned in my order and arrived about 10 minutes later, it still took about 10 minutes to complete my order. There were 5 tables seated in the restaurant, so they weren't overly busy. While I waited I observed the staff and nobody seemed to be moving with a purpose, particularly the kitchen staff. Order was an appetizer, a small soup, 2 entrees, and a desert, total price $62. I was handed 2 bags, I asked if all the condiments were included and was told they were in the bag, drive out of the parking lot and get a call letting me know they forgot my condiment bag. I've eaten a lot of Thai food, including 2 trips to Thailand, and Palm Thai missed the mark big time. Very bland flavors and missing so many ingredients. The fried tofu was mushy and the dipping sauce had no flavor. The noodles were all way overcooked and had a sticky, mushy consistency. We had to search for the few pieces of chicken included in the entrees. I requested the soup extra spicy, it was bland, and again only a couple pieces of chicken, instead it was almost entirely onions and mushrooms. The desert, mango sticky rice, turned out to be a DIY affair and while assembling it I found they had left the bone in the mango. Finally, I asked to have my receipt e-mailed (so simple the vendors at the street fairs can accomplish the task) it's been 5 hours and I still have not received my receipt. read more
