This place is quite a treat. The menu offers some delightful variations to many standard dishes with 2or3 specialty pastries made on premises daily. They are open for breakfast and lunch only. No off/street parking and the outside signage says Palmer Inn with a window sign that say Angel's. The seating is tight and menu prices a bit high. Waitstaff is great and atmosphere good as is the coffee. With all this negative/positive it is a great place. I certainly will go again. Worth it read more

My friends and I decided to stop by this cute little diner not knowing what to expect. SO DELICIOUS. I ordered "the classic" which was eggs Benedict. This was one of, if not the best eggs Benedict I've ever had. I also got a side of French toast and was also pleasantly surprised. They were slightly crispy on the outside and very moist on the inside and drizzled with delicious butter. Wow! Great, hip little breakfast place with REALLY fresh food. They should open their own muffin shop, the daily muffin is INCREDIBLE. I've eaten here about 7 times and the fruit bowl is always freshly sliced. The skillets are really incredible but my favorite is the rotisserie chicken sandwich with bacon and avocado on a croissant. SO GOOD. And the pancakes are served with real maple syrup and perfect butter. Highly recommended, this will be my new go-to. read more

I hate to review this place for fear that It will become so busy that I won't be able to get a table. Angels never disappoints. The food is fresh and delicious. Breakfast is plentiful and the menu is large enough to meet everyone's needs. The specials are spectacular! The surf and turf Benedict was to die for! The steak was perfectly cooked to order and melted in my mouth. The poached lobster tails were perfect as well. The serving was huge and the presentation was as lovely! $18 was well worth it. The other special we tried was the breakfast potato skins. Yum! Everything you expect in a loaded potato skin topped with scrambled eggs!! My family had made to order omelettes and pancakes. Both were delicious. The pancakes are small so you might want a double stack of you are really hungry. This is a newer restaurant in town (location used to be Palmer Restaurant). They've been open for probably 3-4 months now and we tried it today for the first time - ordered breakfast to go. I really wanted to like the place, but each of our 3 meals had something wrong... I ordered the veggie skillet. The veggies were under cooked (as in - still crunchy. Even the onions!), and there was no avocado or cheese like the description said. The bread and aioli were the best parts. I found a randsom sausage bit in my homefries, so its good that I am not a vegetarian... My friend ordered the Burger, Bacon and Fries. No fries. And it wasn't a burger...just ground beef...no bun, no fries. My other friend ordered kielbasa, homefries, 2 eggs over medium and a grilled english muffin. The kielbasa was just...gross. Too soft, almost like it needed to be cooked more initially. They had her meal marked as eggs over easy... We also got a random biscuit? And the home fry portions could have definitely been better, especially for the price. For our three meals, it cost about $35...no beverages...seems awfully pricy for the not so great food, small portions and the location. Maybe we'll come back again in a year or so after they've settled in, but overall we were disappointed. read more

Awesome little dive! My family and I stopped there for a bite while on our way to vacation in Lake George. Came across it on accident and so glad we did! Service was great! Friendly, kind wait staff...and food was outstanding! I highly recommend the breakfast skillets. Delicious! Had my third breakfast here the other day. Unfortunately, I made the choice of having a sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. OMG- what the hell did they serve me!!LOL This thing had two eggs, two sausage patties and enough cheese to feed a small family for a week. Couldn't take a bite without things dripping/shooting out of the sandwich because it was overpacked and "loose". I should have brought a towel with me to clean up. I swear if I didn't know better they are trying to send their customers to the cardiac unit with this sandwich. Why not offer this as a "big" version of a basic sausage egg and cheese sandwich??? It must have weighed two pounds so PLEASE offer smaller versions for those who are trying not to kill themselves before lunch! Also - the lady behind the counter (think shes an owner) is not friendly. In the morning, people needs smiles and pleasant interaction. She should be in the back cooking :-) read more

The food and service were excellent. We tried to sit at a table but the guests on either side of our table were so big and couldn't push their chairs in so we had to sit at the counter. I think they need to rethink the seating area. Way too tight and cramped. I ordered the stuffed French toast and side of bacon and my friend ordered a veggie omelet. The food was perfect and flavorful. Besides the main room there is a side Rome with some tables but the room had a space heater and was cold, so we chose to move to the warmer side of the restaurant. I'd like to bring my family but unless they can find a way to accommodate seating then I may pass on eating here. read more

We went to Angel's this morning for breakfast for the first time, it was a great meal/experience. The restaurant is decorated nicely, there are really convenient special touches everywhere (silverware in mason jars attached to wall at each table in case you drop one)...super attention to detail here. The restaurant is very clean, very well staffed and the team works incredibly well together, they seem to share the tables and everyone working was busy/keeping things moving. The eggs benedict was delicious and I could not finish, they are serving a big breakfast here! My guy had scrambled, ham, roasted potatoes...no greasy oil soaked, these appear to be fresh roasted. He ended up having some of my ham...it was a big carved slice. Overall....loved it!!! read more

Finally got to eat here after a while! It is a pretty solid little restaurant that serves a great breakfast and lunch. I got to order a sandwich which was a buttery croissant with avocado, chicken, bacon and honey mustard mayo. I was not disappointed. I think I will be giving them a try again real soon.
