First time costumer from this place, I don't write a lot of reviews but this is one worth writing. Item 1: pizza cheese steak hoagie - paid $16.10 for a foot long sub, the bun had a stale test and was soggy (like it was dunked in a glass of water). The steak was cheap and overcooked and had no taste plus the portion size was for an 8 year old. Peppers onions mushrooms again not very tasty. Overall I want to just throw up this sub and go get Subway for $5 because that would blow this sub out of the water. Item 2: French fries - $3 for a small tub of about 23 total fries fresh out of the freezer bag and dry. Item 3: $10 small pizza. Might as well stop at the 7-11 and grab one from the freezer because that's what this pizza was like. Clearly obvious this pizza was previously frozen and tasted like fresh cardboard. Item 4: chicken parmesan sub - $13.50 for the same type sub as above. The chicken was fresh from the Tyson chicken fingers bag. Two chicken tenders laid on a stale tasteless bun with some sauce and slices of cheese on top. Thankfully Tyson makes good chicken fingers or this sub would of been fed to my dogs. Overall: next time I'll just make myself a peanut butter and jelly because that would be much more enjoyable. I apologize to the management when you read this, but step up your game. I'll spend my money up the road at Accapella, Basta Pasta, Savory Deli, or Baldwin Meals.

Not a lot to say here but OH MY GOD?! It's taken this long for Yelp to find its way to the door step of Palmisano's?! REALLY????????? Ok this place has been making subs and sandwich's and VERY GOOD home style Italian food as long as I've been around. The clam sauce the salads, the pizza's, etc... doesn't matter what your poison they make it and its fresh and tasty! I have been going here longer than I care to admit, it's a true neighborhood or well hard to call it a neighborhood place being that it's in the middle of the country! Yet when you walk in you have the feeling of walking into a sub shop in Lil Italy! Make your way out here for lunch on a Saturday or to stock up for a game day either way you are leaving happy!!!

I ordered a BALT (bacon, avocado, lettuce, and tomato on white bread) and a bag of chips; my husband ordered a cup of Maryland crab soup, a pastrami on marble rye, and a bag of chips. We both enjoyed what we ordered. The sandwiches are simple but quick and tasty. After we finished our lunch, we couldn't resist ordering some ice cream, too (strawberry chip for me and oreo cheesecake for him). The service is great - fast, friendly. And it's charming and simple inside. If you're in the area, it's a nice place for a quick lunch or ice cream snack.

My partner and I were both very happy with our sandwiches. They got a gobbler and I got an Italian. We loved ordering on the kiosk because they have so many toppings to choose from. It made it very easy to see all the options and if they cost more or not. There are a couple of indoor tables and some outdoor seating as well. Every table was full while we were there. They have lots of sweets, a small market, and lots of home made desserts. I tried a bunch of ice cream flavors. I really enjoyed the peanut butter ripple and I purchased pints of cake batter and peach to take home. They were both very good. They have four different sizes of packaged ice cream in coolers for you to take to go in tons of different flavors. The only spaces I see for improvement were that we didn't really enjoy the sides (we tried the potato salad and pasta salad). I also don't see a need for single stall restrooms to be gendered.

This was my second visit to brookside market and it was just as good as I remembered it! This time…read morewe opted for the green tomatoes, fried Zuchinni , rigatoni and cutlet sub. The green tomatoes is not what you may expect but better topped with creamy corn! The cutlet sub was divine! The sweet roasted red peppers pair nicely with the hunk of cheese that sits on top of the perfectly fried chicken cutlet. The only Downside is that if you don't eat it fast, the bread is so thin it gets super soggy. The overall service is great and they offer such a great variety of dishes, it's the perfect place for large groups. They also sell alcohol so if you're looking for something to take home, you can grab drinks and food!

Update: Still Amazing!…read more I am blown away how Brookside still doesn't have a better rating. I came back here for dinner with a party of 3 on a Saturday and everything was perfrct. Service was punctual and friendly and the food was fantastic. This time, I ordered the vodka rigatoni special as well as the Sienna pizza for my mains and both were slam dunks. My table split the zucchini chips and fried green tomato appetizers and they were outstanding. Just like my previous review, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had no complaints. Another tid bit that I appreciate about Brookside is their full buy in on social media. They post regularly with light hearted content depicting current events and specials they have going on. A major plus for those wanting to stay in the know of their seasonal menu. Overall, another A+++ experience.
