The owner works in corporate (Alvarez & Marshall) and willingly runs an illegal/fraudulent business. Safe to say, for a "clean" nail salon, this business is far from clean. As an engineer& attorney myself, who also works in corporate, the owner had her staff forbid my service dog and I from returning. I informed her staff it was illegal and they decided to go ahead and ignore the problem and cancel all my appointments. I had to file them against the Texas Department of Licensing Regulation and the Texas Attorney General office. When it comes to business conducting illegal matters, this is where I draw the line. I've attached the complaints for anyone who wants to see the gravity of their negligence. I did some research, and the owner already had to shut down two of the five locations already. It's a telltale sign that the way she runs business' must be abysmal. Last but not least, color choices are limited and horrific and she charges at a 25% premium for "clean nail salon" experience. Take your money somewhere else. This owner should learn to follow the law and train her staff with some manners.

I am at a loss for words after reading the below comments from the nail salon. I looked for and found the email mentioned by the salon that was sent to me offering an apology and a full refund. I was completely unaware of this communication and/or update. The vast majority of communications I ever have or had with the nail salon are in form of a text. My review to the salon was via text. As this is how I received the inquiry regarding our most recent service. Never did I think I was sent an email. Unfortunately, my email on file is for an account that I don't check frequently. I just checked my bank account and indeed I was fully refunded for both pedicures. I posted my review this past Friday 7/22 to Yelp based on what I believed to be lack of response and action. As I mentioned in my initial post my husband and I have always had great experiences. Based on the email that I received today from the salon my husband and I are banned? I am so disappointed in this whole fiasco. I am also shocked at the response.

Pedicure is lovely but I've never heard of a "Safety & Sanitation" fee at a nail salon. Isn't that what you're supposed to do? It's like a restaurant charging "cooking to temperature and safe consumption" fee. This was in addition to my $50 bill for a pedicure with Essie polish. Kinda overpriced for regular polish. Oh, and I had gel on 2 toes. 2 toes. $15 for removal. So in total $50 pedi + $15 polish removal + $3.10 Safety & Sanitation fee + $1.95 tax = a total of $70. And I added a tip on top of that. Too much for what it was.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday and can't say I'll be coming back. After less than one full day, my nails are already chipping and peeling like crazy (see pic). I got the standard manicure and pedicure and with tax/20% tip the total was over $100. I realize I should've gotten gel or powder for staying power, but for my first time there I felt like the entry services were the way to go. For $100, I feel like the chairs should be comfy (they're not even massage chairs), the polish should be top of the line (it's not, even for non-toxic) and staff should be top notch (I had to ask my manicurist to push back cuticles and the whole procedure took 1.5 hours). IMHO I'd take my $100 and get a gel mani and pedi elsewhere.

Place has remarkable design and very clean. It is overpriced but nice experience if you like relaxing mani pedi. Like regular shellac and with previous gel removal is $67. Not too bad but few places down the road is $45 and same quality. Do not think I will be returning however was pleasant visit. Just decided to edit my review because all shellac pilled off on 2 and week.. considering I have never had that happened and for overpriced mani that's unacceptable

A friend of mine recommended Paloma and I was very pleased with the service I received. From the moment I walked in through to the check out process it was all wonderful. The manicurist helped me chose I color and did a great job with my shellac. The pedicurist was just as great! Both were extremely friendly and talkative. Very polite and fun. I will certainly be back!

Do not recommend for regular nail services. Very expensive for the quality of service provided.

I'm by no means a high maintenance nail girl, in fact I never paint my finger nails but I try my best to keep up with pedicures on a semi-regular basis. The salon is definitely no thrills but the ladies are all very sweet and do high quality work. Even if the salon is busy, they take their time to ensure no step is skipped or done with less than full effort. I always get just a regular pedicure ($33) and it comes with a soak, cuticle trim, nail file, heal exfoliation, a short lotion lower leg massage, two coats of polish, and a top coat. They always make sure that you take the necessary time to dry before leaving. Each station has a massager chair for extra relaxation and guests are offered a cold soda or water at the beginning of their appointment. Over the past year that I have been coming, I can tell that there are a lot of regular customers which is great to see. You shouldn't anticipate trouble getting a walk in appointment, however it's a nice courtesy to call before driving over to ensure that they have someone who can see to you. Overall, I'm definitely a fan and will continue to visit!

There are plenty of color options to choose from, and they even had the latest cat eye trend add-ons. It's been 3 weeks and my gel nails have not yet lifted, which is a really good sign. The ambience is not the most relaxing, however, and the volume from the staff conversations got a bit too loud for me at times, but the pricing is very reasonable! I'll be coming back for more manis :)

The wait was minimal, 10 mins for a technician to become available. Good selection of nail polishes, mainly DND, lacking in OPI availability. I got Chi who did a wonderful and thorough job on the Signature Spa Pedicure w/Cucumber Fresh Scent $57. It included 10 minutes feet massage and 5 mins shoulder massage, along with paraffin wax. My feet felt pampered by the time I left. I was given 10% discount in my first visit, even got a free rose cuticle oil as a gift! I'll be back next time I'm in the area!

The technician blamed the issue on me for "scratching my nose" instead of keeping my hand under the light, which was both rude and inaccurate, as the problem occurred on both hands--not just the one I briefly moved. Even after the redo, the polish did not cure properly. Less than 48 hours later, the nails are still malleable and the top layer of polish is already flaking off. Although I could return to request a redo, their website notes that refunds are not offered--only corrections within a limited timeframe. Given the experience, I do not feel comfortable returning or spending additional time on a service that should have been done correctly the first time.

I later saw on her Instagram story that she had an opening at 3:30 she was trying to fill. Had anyone bothered to contact me -- a call, a text, an email, anything -- I could have slid into that slot or taken my business to Adore Nails or Memorial Nail Care, both of which maintain a full staff capable of doing amazing designs. Instead, I received zero communication. I showed up to my appointment only to be told they don't honor that particular nail technician's bookings and that their systems haven't been updated to reflect that. So you're actively allowing clients to book a specific technician through your online portal, knowing full well those preferences will be ignored? That's not a miscommunication -- that's a scam- a bait and switch. The available staff could not do designs, which I was fully aware of -- which is exactly why I chose this technician specifically. I was left with no real options and settled for a plain manicure. My cuticles were done well, but my "oval" nails are not oval, and my gel is visibly bumpy -- not a smooth finish in sight. I could have done better myself. Unfortunately I didn't have the time, which is precisely why I booked with someone I knew would make it worth it -- only to be completely ignored. Fix your booking system. Contact your clients when there's a change. Don't advertise a service you have no intention of honoring. Your front desk girl is very patient, very sweet, and was very apologetic. She should not have had to apologize for what is clearly a failure of management.
