I usually get a fun drink since they always have new brands and options of things like watermelon water, coconut water, kombucha, seltzer, etc. I highly recommend the pretzel rolls and the ham/cheese croissant in the pastry cabinet, although those are usually sold out too. You can buy fancy chips and ice creams as well as local seafood and produce. It's a nice one stop shop but purchasing ingredients to make a meal is likely a splurge. They're not cheap... $13.49 for their jumbo pancake + $2.99 if you add blueberries, and who wouldn't? You also get a side of your choice of breakfast meat. On this trip I wasn't alone, so my friend & I split 1 pancake & the 3 pieces of crispy bacon that came with. The cook was kind enough to actually split the batter to make us each our own cake. Yes, the photo below is actually 1/2 of what you normally get. We still couldn't finish it! Our server, Sam, was terrific. What a wonderful personality! He was so much fun. The coffee is decent & there's plenty of parking in their lot. Great stop if you're traversing Route 1 in Maine.
