So I Made A Call To This Establishment To Schedule An Appt, As I Had Been With My Prior Nail Tech For 4 Years & Felt It Was Time For A Change. The Owner Brian Advised That There Were Some Customers In Front Of Him That He Needed To Check Out, Thereafter He Would Call Me Back. I Allowed For Him To Take Care Of His Customers, & Sure Enough His Wife I Believe Named Tina Called To Schedule My Appt. From There I Was Super Excited/Confident That Things Would Go Exactly The Way I Am Used To (Upscale Manner). Fast Foward To Today, My Appt Was @4:30PM. Parking May Be A Hassle So Please Allow Yourself Time For That (I Paid). Upon Entering Brian Was Extremely Welcoming & Warm. Advised Me To Pick Out My Color & They Would Get Me Set Up. Elsa (Who Was As SWEET/PERSONABLE As She Could Be) Did My Pedicure Which Was Awesome, She LISTENED To My Requests/Made An Adjustments That Were Needed. I Was Shocked To Find That She Would Not Be Doing My Nails As I Was Extremely Satisfied With Her Work/Diligence On My Feet. So Here's Where Things Take A Turn .. I Was Advised By Brian (Owner) That Kevin/Kelvin Would Be Doing My Nails .. Firstly He Had Me Waiting IN WHICH I HATE So That Set The Tone For Our Interaction. Kelvin Was EXTREMELY Cold, Un-Welcoming, & Flat Out Seemed As If He Did Not Want To Be There, Nor Service Me For That Matter. He Told Me NO On A Polish Change Request (In Which I Also DO NOT LIKE Especially When I'm PAYING You For A Service In Which By The Way Was NOT CHEAP.) So Needless To Say Mr. Kelvin Got FIRMLY Put In His Place By None Other Than ME. Clearly There Were Bubbles On His Brain & He Needed ReAssurance As To WHO He Was Servicing. He Did Not Even As So Much Put A DRYER In Front Of My Nails To Dry Them, Another Tech Walking By Had To Get A Fan To Place In Front Of My Nails In Order To Help Them Dry. This Must Be The Reason That GEL POLISH Was Being Pushed Onto Me Because There Was No Space To Sit & Dry Your Nails. *Sigh* I Had High Hopes For This Establisent, But Due To Kevin/Kelvin's (Whatever The Hell His Name Is) Smug Attitude/Unprofessional Demeanor I Will Save My Time & $$ And Go Elsewhere. My nails were beautiful and I paid $100 for a full set of poly gel. The owner Tina greated me and seemed nice but not nice at all. One nail broke and she sat there and explained to me why it couldn't fixed it while I watched the person that did my nails sit there and watch. She Didn't have a customer in front of her. I wasn't loud or nasty but I felt extremely under valued at this place. For $100 I thought I would at least have my nails done for longer than 6 days. Do not go here and don't give them your money. What I asked for vs. what I got. Pamper Me Nail Spa is located right on the water. The space looks quaint on the outside and is Huge, warm, inviting and airy on the inside. You can pay with cash or card (and you can tip cash or on your card too!). The massage chair for pedicures is lifted high enough off of the ground that my feet dangled in the basin :) I'm 5'11" for reference purposes. My nails came out exactly how I imagined. All of the nail techs do great work but Tina took a chance on a needy and stubborn customer, Me. They had me in at my scheduled time and my fill-in took less than an hour. It took me FOREVER to find a quality nail salon. Needless to say, I've already booked my follow-up appointment. Hands down my fave nail spot in Maryland. Since moving to Baltimore in late 2019 I have been on the hunt for a nail salon that makes me happy. I used to frequent the place below my apartment building just out of sheer convenience but my nails were never perfect perfect, just decent enough but i never felt like it was worth the money I was paying. In early 2021 I moved to Canton and tried two places near my new apartment, and still wasn't happy with the service. I left two different salons with my cuticles badly cut on multiple fingers. Defeated, I went back to Harbor East to my previous salon. One day I thought I'd open up Yelp to see if any new salons had opened and luckily, a new one in Fells Point I hadn't heard of yet had opened! That's when I made my appointment with Pamper Me Nail Spa. All the reviews I had read were very positive, and I decided to go with a nail tech named Tina. I arrived for my appointment and was greeted instantly and walked to polish samples so I could choose my color. There was SO MUCH to choose from it took me probably 10 minutes, which Tina greeted me and told me not to rush, and to take my time looking. I figured I'd just go with my plain tried and true white polish and sat down and began getting worked on. Tina and I made small talk about how I found the salon and I told her about all the good things I had read about the her and the salon. She was so sweet and kind. I also mentioned to her that I read that the salon is good for designs and she said absolutely, that they do a lot of design work and she was willing to show me some things [they regularly post their designs on instagram.] I had been wanting to get some encapsulated nail designs for years now but every salon I've been to always told me they didn't or couldn't do that for me. Tina enthusiastically said that yes, she can do that type of nail art and showed me the glitter butterflies I was asking about. From there, we decided on a really beautiful design including some powder glitter flakes and purple butterflies with a pretty lavender shimmer polish. She knocked it out of the park and made me so happy with the design, shape, and took very good care not to cut me. She did not make me feel rushed at any point during my appointment even though we took a bit of a detour to look over the designs options they offer. I also got a pedicure by someone, I believe her name is Elsa. She was nice and did a great job on my tootsies. Something I noticed while I was getting my nails done is all of the clients were greeted by name, and they all seemed really happy to see their nail techs and vice versa. It was just such a good and positive atmosphere and it shows how their customer service game is A1. I could sense the people around me were as satisfied and happy with the salon as I am. I'm over the moon to have found a salon that takes extreme care in their work, is able to do creative designs and doesn't make me feel rushed. The pricing is better than other salons in the area, but the quality for me is 10 times better. If you're looking for a salon and haven't felt satisfied with any of the other ones in the area please give this lovely place a try! I won't be going anywhere else. read more

I moved here from Chicago about a year ago and needed to find a new nail salon nearby. The owners and staff at Pamper Me are fantastic - they're all extremely friendly and go above and beyond (I once fell off a scooter on my way to an appointment and the owners disinfected the wound before bandaging me up). I just wanted to write an update to my last review. I love this nail salon so much. I live down the street and the owners (Bryan and Tina) feel like family now. I've never been to a more gracious salon in my life. Tina and Bryan DM all of their clients if they leave after it's dark to make sure they got home safe. They even bought me pho one day when I was recovering from a procedure. But, y'all, you need to BOOK OUT. I see Tina and I am booked out with her until April. Her designs are amazing. She is so detail oriented. Due to genetic condition I have, my nails are *very* flimsy and break constantly and they had designed a technique (Bryan is an engineer by trade) so my nails wouldn't break. They are actually LONG now! I always do dip. I think that's their best product with design. And I love all the designs Tina does. She's always honest with me about her recommendations and knows all the right colors to use. Never did designs before her. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are a hardworking couple growing at an incredibly impressive rate, trying to keep up with demand. I think that's what a lot of the negative comments stem from. They do take walk ins technically, but I would not hold your breath for a last minute spot! This is not that kind of place. read more

I am in town for work but have to take off again for PTO immediately after I land so I wanted to get this checked off my to do list. After reading the reviews of a few places, I landed on this one as it had good reviews and was super walkable from where I was at. Since it was such short notice, I opted to call and check availability rather than book online. The person on the other end asked if it was ok to get back to me and then later, I got a text asking what I wanted and if they could get back to me on availability. After some back and forth on overlapping schedules, to my surprise they were able to sneak me in! The salon is bright, welcoming, & sparkly clean, and because I am so used to your typical nail salon, it was a pleasant sight to see sterilized tools and awareness of cross-contamination. They have loooooads of colors to choose from; polish, gel, or dip. Now for the mani/pedi itself! My nail tech was Wendy and I totally recommend her! Her attention to detail is hard to find these days and I felt like she truly took the time to make sure my nails came out fresh looking, despite my appt being squeezed in there. I made an appointment today for 3:30 and they called me and asked if I could come later. I said I would like to keep my appointment time because it was hard to move things around. I ended up moving things around and called and made my appointment for 4:00. As I'm on my way I realize I'm going to be late so I said I would be there at 4:20, she said that was fine. On my way there was a MAJOR car accident on 695 (sorry nothing I can do about that). It's 4:23 I'm at the circle at Aliceanna and I get a call saying they can't see me. I told her I was RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER and she said no they can't see me. Back and forth with me saying I'm right around the corner she said "No we can't see you" I told her I was writing a bad review because that is ridiculous. The accident was out of my control and I was very communicative with them. They could have said no we can't see you when I called and said I'm running late, but they said it was fine! I visited the salon a while ago, and did not have the best experience. I think my tech was new and the machine for drying gel nails was malfunctioning and leaving bubbles in the thumb area, but when I pointed this out she sanded my thumb nails down 3 times instead of changing the machine, and now they are so thin that I can't grow them out because they are so brittle. You can see a bump between where my natural nail is growing out at a normal thickness and the very thin area after getting my nails done here. I tried to alert who seemed like the owner and she said she would fix them at no cost which was kind, but I was very disappointed that a gel manicure with one color left me with damaged nails. My friend who went with me was also very disappointed in her nails and got an infection after coming here. I think Kat is a great nail tech (who we had seen previously) but some of the others definitely require more training/supervision! read more

I have been going to PamperMe for a year and a half now. I typically see Jenny who is absolutely wonderful. However, Jenny did not have availability so I saw someone else for the first time for a dip manicure. The day after I got my nails done two of my nails chipped with one breaking off completely. I called the salon and Tina (the owner) told me to stop by any time after work to get my nails fixed. I, unfortunately, was there for over an hour because I had to wait despite calling ahead of time to let them know I was on my way (as instructed by Tina). The next day two more of my nails chipped again! I called again and Tina instructed me to come back after the weekend. I returned tonight (8 days after the original dip manicure) and again had to wait despite calling ahead of time once again. Tina explained that the color I had chosen was softer because it was glittery and the tech did the manicure too thin. This caused multiple nails to chip. Rather than offering to redo the manicure completely, which I would have expected based on her admission that the tech screwed up/the color was defective, she offered to take the manicure off. I explained that I was disappointed because at this point I had spent a considerable amount of money and time (5+ hours at the salon) for the nails to come off 8 days later despite being chipped all but 1 of the 8 days. Tina offered to have me come back (yet again!!) to get them done by a different tech. She never once offered to either a) refund me or 2) redo the nails at no charge. I then sat in the chair for over a half hour while my tech disappeared to do someone else's nails. Finally, Tina came back over and removed the foils. She quickly filed down my nails but unfortunately filed some round and some square. Because the acetone sat on my nails for far too long, my skin was already peeling. No lotion or oil was put on my hands at all. I was sent on my way with mismatched filed nails that are peeling and cracked after being at the salon for almost an hour yet again. I am extremely disheartened by this experience. I loved getting my nails done here and had no problems up until this experience. As a loyal customer for over a year now, I would have expected better customer service. read more

Finding a home nail salon in Maryland has been a huge struggle for me. I thought this would be it and I would find a nice and clean salon. However, this was the first experience in my life where I felt belittled and discriminated against. I waited 90 mins after being told to come back the following morning because they were too book when I arrived the night prior. Even after 90 minute of waiting. Every 5-10 minutes my tech who also serves as the receptionist had to get up for whatever task need be. Weather it was to great a guest, answer the phone or take a payment. We then got into a verbal disagreement while she was doing my nails. How uncomfortable! She suggested that she won't see me again since the service was so bad. I told the tech I'm in belief she's unconsciously bias she provided amazing service to everyone else and took a moment to explain to the other customers. With me she was short, often times walking away while speaking and overly disengaged with me. I'll try again. Just not with this tech and maybe next year. read more

We had such a great time in this nail salon. I visited here on June 25th with my two daughters, age 13 and 15 while visiting from Florida. We had a great time and our nails looked fantastic when we were done. We first spoke with one of the owners, Brian. He was great and pretty much made sure we were comfortable the whole time. We had Jenny for both dipped flower nails and pedicure for one of my daughters. Jenny also did my dipped nails. Miss USA(I'm sorry I don't remember her real name) did my pedicure. Tina, the other owner did my daughters nails with the blue Yin and Yang and there was one other person whom I don't remember her name who did my other daughters toes. This is my new go-to spot for my nails! It's spacious and gorgeously decorated and the owners are so kind. There's a very large selection of polishes and the prices are good. The woman who did my mani-pedi was very attentive and gentle. She was also very friendly and I enjoyed talking to her! My nails came out beautiful.
