    Chicken yakisoba
    Shayne H.

Nothing special but a surprisingly good option for the outlet mall. They make each order as it comes in and my chicken yakisoba was quite good. It was hot and the chicken was quality meat grilled perfectly. You could do a lot worse while walking around and shopping.

    Ramen bowl with added beef

Okay, I am giving this place 2 stars liberally. 1 star because the establishment was very clean and 1 star because they served the ramen in a very cool authentic looking metal ramen bowl but that is about all I can say about this place. Panda Express would have been a better choice for quick Asian style food. There was NO taste in the food, it was bland and my chicken was very dry. Served on a paper plate when eating in and it appeared to just be slapped on the plate. I have to say we did not even finish either meal.

    Huge onion!

Worst attitude ever seen from a waiter before. Not even mentioned the fried rice is bad and overpriced. Eat at other place if you can.

We took the bus here and it was close to a bus stop, and I think there's also street parking available as well. The decorations were very cute--it's a smaller restaurant, but they really made sure the ambiance was nice. I ordered some tea and a see ew, and we shared waffle fries and brussel sprouts. Each dish was flavorful and so good--my favorite was the see ew. I still think about it! Definitely a return restaurant on my next visit to Portland!

Since it was my first time, I asked the staff for a recommendation. They suggested the bibimbap and mentioned it was on the spicy side, which I was totally okay with. While their cocktails looked really tempting, I ended up getting a Mexican Coke, and I loved that they had it. The bibimbap was absolutely delicious. It had so many different flavors and textures, and somehow they all worked perfectly together. The waiter also suggested mixing everything together before taking the first bite, which I really appreciated. The ambiance was super cute, with a cozy little tiki-bar vibe inside, and they also have a few outdoor tables. The service was exceptional throughout. This is an easy 5-star review from me.

I had the Spring Rolls - Nem Nuong (sausage) and Special Luc Lac (beef tenderloin), both were delicious and large portions. Spring Rolls were packed with veggies, noodles, and sausage with a tasty peanut sauce. Luc Lac Beef Tenderloin was tender and juicy with slightly crispy outside. Large fat chunks I cut into smaller pieces. I also loved the rice and salad too. Very filling and delicious! Notes: I came on a weeknight for dinner and it was popping! I was able to snag a bar seat after 5 mins since a couple people finished their meal. You order at the front desk and then head to seat. They have self-serve water, utensils, and takeout boxes. Workers were welcoming, friendly, and helpful even during controlled chaos of dinner rush. Love all the decor and lights making for a cool dining ambiance. We went on a Tuesday night and the place was already packed. The server, at least on the day we went, was working OVER TIME. There was only 1 server and she operated as the bar tender, hostess, and server. I understand that its a small location but she was running and was still incredibly friendly despite the fact. The food is amazing. Everything we ordered was absolutely fantastic and we had a lot. We tried the Fire Fish Soozi, the Salmon Poke Bowl, the chicken Karaage, Garlic chicken noodles, and the Fried beef with garlic fried rice. I know a lot of the dishes have garlic in their name, just know that garlic is quite predominant flavor amongst multiple dishes. Definitely on the pricier side for starters, but the portions are decent and the flavors are good.

There's not a lot of seating and it's not meant for big parties. We tried the tea sample (got 3 different teas to try) and they'll refill it with hot water as many times as you want. You can probably go through 2 or 3 pots of water for each tea but allow about 30 minutes for each pot. It also came with 3 smaller food items that we got to try and surprisingly, it's pretty reasonable at $39 per person. The nice thing is, you only get charged for one person while everyone else at your table can also try the tea. Service was good and very friendly. As for the food, it was pretty good, not out of this world but you're going for the tea and not necessarily the food (IMO).

It is a little further away for me just to eat ramen and nothing was outstanding to me. In fact, I felt a little rushed and couldn't catch up with my friends because of the way the store was set up and few spots. We didn't want to keep chatting because that means other customers would have to wait. So, if you want to quickly eat some ramen, come here.

Brunch in Portland, Oregon…read more.. After I read reviews about Portland's Chinatown, I searched for a dimsum place outside of Chinatown and found Jade Rabbit I liked the name of the place and saw that they had two kinds of rabbit-shaped dimsum! Another cool thing is that their menu is vegan... that means that I don't have to worry about dairy products that give me pain. We found free street parking about a half a block away and waited for Jade Rabbit to open at 11am. We didn't have reservations, but we're seated immediately. The decor was great! I enjoyed looking at all of the Rabbit figurines! The furniture was colorful and the convenient restroom had interesting decorations, too! The service was okay. Some items were not available and our server recited the list that included chow funn. Shucks! She came back later and said that the chow funn was, in fact, available... yay! Our server seemed a bit nervous as her hand shook and placed the special menu upside-down... LOL! We won't bite you! She recommended the Ube Jam drink - it was made with coconut cream... yes! The chow funn was a bit bland. We added some soy sauce. The Puto Pao Bunny Bao had an unusual flavor - maybe the brown sugar can be omitted because the black garlic and vegan pork might be fine without it? The Jade Rabbit Dumplings also could be more savory. Something was off... and the filling was a bit sparse. Anyway, maybe we could have ordered better, but we got what we wanted! Thank you for the cute food! Note: 22 percent is added to the bill - so no need to tip.
