Best wonton soup I've had in years! My husband and I ate here for dinner and really enjoyed the service as well as the quality of food. The fried gyoza delicious crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. I ordered Mongolian beef and my husband ordered garlic chicken. We were kind to each other and allowed each other to share a bite of the other's food. Inside was clean and tidy. Our waitress was kind and helpful. I will definitely come here again. I highly recommend trying them out.

Discovered this place on my way to the airport in Denver. It was nice to find another Asian restaurant that has Thai, Japanese and Chinese food. So many selections it was hard to decide what to order. I usually order green curry but I'll have to try that next time as I ordered That Curry Tofu and Tofu Soup for two instead. Food was very good and pretty good on portions. Still not sure of the price was reasonable or pricey. Service was good the waitress was kind and the establishment looked trendy and there was a sushi bar also available. It would be a good place to bring a date or groups to. I would love to try this place again and see how their other entrees on their menu compare. But overall a very positive experience for my first time here.

Really 4.5 Somehow I have missed reviewing this little gem of a restaurant in our neighborhood-ish. We've been coming frequently for over a year. The food is always top notch. The service friendly and familiar. The food tasty, served hot or cold or appropriate for the dish, always prepared with care and craft. My only sad report here is last night we were told that the liquor license was expired and not renewed. Maybe to keep costs a bit lower? But we missed being able to have sake with our dinner. Located in a little "strip" next door is a liquor store. The space is both booths and tables, not huge but always clean and bright. All the dishes as well as sushi are always to our liking, good sized portions for dinner.

We stopped by for lunch in Aurora Colorado. The service was good. We were seated at 11am when they opened. We ordered their lunch special. Salmon mango roll and tuna avocado roll with miso soup. It was average . Not really impressed with sushi roll it was too small for a roll. The Beef sate with veggie was good. It came with rice and egg roll. Ambiance was nice. Clean and spacious. Overall it was ok for me . Overall it was ok.

I was staying at a hotel nearby and ordered Thai Spring Rolls & Wonton Soup to go. Portions were very fair for the price and the food was ready quickly. The wonton soup had nice flavor with some crispy fried onions in it.

Amazing dinner here. Service is amazing. Ambiance is casual. Food is amazing -- Asian approved! Highly recommend the curry fried rice - best I have ever had.

This place was ca-ute! Very clean. Nice seating options, at the sushi bar and dine in. The service was quick and efficient. Substitutions were allowed to special rolls and dishes. Very accommodating. My Crazy roll was good but I really loved the fried rice. The prices were reasonable compared to Midwest prices. A Special Roll and Fried Rice was $31 before tax.

Grateful for such a wonderful dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and welcoming -- it made all the difference. We started with the Tar Tar appetizer which comprised of diced tuna, salmon, yellowtail mix with mango, avocado, and roll in a savory spicy mayo sauce, which was fresh and flavorful -- the perfect way to kick off the meal. I ordered the Korean spicy noodle bowl and wow -- it was packed with flavor and had just the right kick! Comforting, delicious, and beautifully presented. My man had the General Tso's chicken with brown rice, and it was just as impressive -- crispy, tender, and not overly sweet like some places. He cleared his plate and I helped! All around, Pan Gu Asian Bistro exceeded our expectations.

Food was delicious and tasty. My favorite was the salt and pepper shrimp. Their King Crab and Tempura roll was also amazing.

This place is walking distance to hotels in the Gateway Park area if you've gotten tired of getting gouged on Tower Road hotel parking. I ordered off their website to avoid extra fees. I just wanted to try the soups so I ordered the heartiest sounding wonton soup and the egg drop soup in the off-chance I could us ethe leftover broth to use with the noodles I'd bought from the Tower Road Sprouts the other day. The wonton broth was far too salty for that. All veggies, beef, chicken and 3 large tasty shrimp were great, but I dumped the liquid. That left the egg drop which was surprisingly light on cornstarch. It was tasty on its own but again, too salty to cook noodles in it. I think it's probably best to try other options here. Soups are not the way to go.

Too spicy. I never had a combination fried rice with so much pepper like this one. I gave it to my Mexican co-worker and he loved it.

I saw, from the reviews, that to come here without a reservation, you want to come right when they open. We saw a wave of people start lining up and congregating as we were parking. We ordered the sake and the sake mule. Both were good! We also got 2 pieces of nigiri from Japan and it was heavenly! Other items that piqued our interest were the tuna firecracker roll, a salmon roll, and another tuna roll. Everything tasted delicious, although I was surprised by the asparagus in my rolls. I don't know that that is my favorite! We had a great experience and would love to come back.

I was in Denver to visit my friend, and I was telling her how I really liked hand rolls and so she recommended this place and it did not disappoint. We got here during happy hour when at first opened and immediately there was already a line luckily we were early so we did get seated a few minutes after arriving, and we were served relatively quickly. We got to sit at the bar and we ordered off of the happy hour menu, which was great because it had more than enough of what I wanted to try. We got several hand rolls and several of their other appetizers, but my favorite has to be their hand rolls. Their seaweed was so crispy and rolled so nicely. The rice was flavorful and their fish was so fresh. I felt like their prices were also pretty reasonable and I was more than content after having that dinner. Overall, I would put this very much on par with a place called Kazunori in LA. I heard that this restaurant has a sister restaurant called sushi Den that I heard was really good and that I will be trying out next time I'm in town. Please come try out Tamaki done if you're ever in the area the food will not disappoint. The restaurant is big with plenty indoor seating, but it will get packed and for good reasons because the food is so good!

We thought we made a mistake choosing sushi bar instead of a table because we'll have back issues. Surprisingly, the chairs had a mini back so you could lean back occasionally. And we think our experience was better because the sushi chefs would explain the origin of the fish and all the ingredients they used into each roll and order. We also got a complimentary piece for sitting at the sushi bar which was a light fried yellow tail which was so good. Service is amazing. They're attentive and check in on you often. It does take some time to get your rolls but give its time to digest. From watching the sushi chefs at the bar, they're very precise in how they make each roll. Every roll has similar proportions from the slight wasabi they use to the amount of rice and fish. Everything that we had was amazing. The hamachi and salmon sashimi felt like butter. It just melts in your mouth. The aged toro was so delicious. Even the edamame was just so good. The unagi nigiri is some of the best I've had in the state (the nigri was better than the handroll and I think it's because I love unagi so I love the ratio in nigiri form). The Spicy Tuna Oshizushi was a surprising favorite of the night along with the Crème Fresh Salmon Belly. I could've done without the wagyu but it was good. Every order does come with only 1 so order based on the amount of people that are with your party. Some items we were unsure of like the wagyu so we ordered 1 and shared a bite. Overall, I understand the hype and the reservations. But it was worth it and I'm surprised we can get high quality fish in a landlock state. Of the high end sushi restaurants in CO, Temaki Den is probably my fave.

That said, the happy hour menu is a good deal for a hang out, especially in large group, and the brunch menu is pretty nice. In my opinion, Mizu was probably one of the better Japanese options back in the day. However, with so many other good spots now, especially with Kawa Ni close by with a better izakaya hang out spot, it's not as attractive of an option, especially given the higher price. It really is not a restaurant that specializes in any particular food, but is certainly a crowd pleaser if you have people that want different things.
