I order the regular size and it's just enough for me to finish and feel satisfied. I've tried their wings. It had a garlicky, sweet and sour type sauce. They were fried crispy and I enjoyed them a lot. I've tried their lychee on lychee tea. It was a bit too sweet for me. My better half finished it up for me and ordered the shaking beef for himself. It was tender and flavorful. Pho Bien Hoa is close to my area when I don't feel like traveling far. It's affordable. The dining area and restrooms have always been clean on both visits and the service has been great both times. There's usually a small steady stream of people who dine in or take out. It was more of a marinated and stir fried type curry. It was served over rice and had a side of cucumber and carrot salad with a fish sauce based dipping sauce or dressing. You get a quarter chunk of lettuce to eat with the noodles and the charboiled beef. On the side was also fresh herbs and pickled carrots/daikon. The perfect bite is a nice piece of lettuce, noodles, some of the beef, roll that baby up and dip it in the sauce. Everything about this dish is so good! It brought back so many memories. It's amazing how a simple dish can make your heart so content. I can officially leave SLC happy. My last visit here, I got a great bowl of pho. Tonight's meal was everything I wanted. I have nothing but great things to say about this joint. I have checked out other pho joints in the area but none of them have delivered like Pho Salt Lake. One of the best Viet joints in town.
