I've been told by others all of their bread is good. The spot is small and located in a small strip center right across from a high school. Very good bread! Good price $1 each regular bread with the bread with filling being $2 each. It is cash only (asked the guy and he likes to do it old school) only down side I found was no card no zell no Apple Pay. Bolillo is .85 each. Can get very busy weekends , I recommend going weekdays. Their hours are Tuesday-Friday 5am-6pm and week ends 5am-3 pm they're closed Mondays. On rare occasions they close the story early this means they're out of bread. Costumer service bread is excellent, but the customer service is awful. I've had two rude encounters with the staff, and the last one was enough. At the end of the day, they pre-bag whatever bread they choose and refuse to let customers pick their own--no exceptions, no effort to satisfy. When I asked for a manager, I was told there isn't one. The bakery was very clean, the staff were wearing hair nets, face masks, and gloves, giving me the sense that hygiene was a priority for them. I was actually trying to get a donut at the shop a few doors down to this place, but it was close. So I walked into this place instead and was immediately overcome with joy at the scent of a variety of Conchas. A bell rang letting the people in the back know I had walked in, and since it was the late afternoon there wasnt too many choices. But it was still a good variety and I grabbed a few pieces out of the tray and onto my steel tray. I paid an extremely modest cost and the guy thanked me in spanish for coming in. I left with a smile knowing I supported a small Mexican owned business and left. Once I got home a few hours later I had a piece, and the bread was incredibly soft. For a concha that is rare, but this was some quality bread that wasnt made quickly or by a machine like the northgate style bread. This was hand made with care and tasted like the quality mattered to them. If I am in the area I will come back in the morning for a larger variety and even fresher piece than the ones I already had. read more

I love trying out local small businesses. Bumped into this little store and decided to pop in after reading the reviews about their famous conchitas. The young lady asked if it was my 1st time (must have been so obvious), and told me that the conchitas are usually sold out fast. So, I asked her to help me pick out a few alternatives to try. Well, I must say those alternatives were so good for an afternoon snack. This morning, since I was up early, Today, I decided to give it another go on an early Sunday morning at 7:30 am. There was already a line of a dozen people. With COVID-19, only 2 customers were allowed inside at a time. This time, I got to try the conchitas and other goodies. Friendly service from the young lady again. I got two dozen goodies and delivered a dozen to a friend staying at a nearby hotel. I am indeed a happy returning customer! read more

Came here yesterday to order some conchas for my friends mom's coquette themed birthday party. I ordered 50 mini conchas. 25 in pink and 25 in white. I confirmed with the lady taking my order in person that they were PINK and white twice and when my friend came by to pick up the order today they gave her white and chocolate. They refused to change the color to pink and the lady blamed me and said I picked chocolate for a COQUETTE PINK themed party. I was informed this is a great Mexican bakery with great mexican bread and bollios. bread was very small and dry. The elotes had little to no flavor and were small. The bollios we were looking forward to making some good tortas. by FAR the worse BOLLIO I have ever had. I'm Latino born and raised in LA and have lived in Orange County for over 10 yrs. Gonzales and El super are 10 times better. I rarely do reviews but I thought I would for this as this ruined our Steak Tortas for the Super Bowl.
