this is a cute spot for matcha with lots of drink options. It's aesthetic and clean. I tried the iced strawberry matcha and really liked it. The drink came out pretty fast, and it was flavorful. however, I thought it was a bit pricey, especially since the cup had so much ice even after asking for light ice. but if I come back, I'd definitely like to try the strawberry cream sando since it looked really yummy!

Came in on a hot afternoon to try this spot and so far so good. Easy to order, using their kiosk. Pistachio Matcha Latte: I enjoyed this, it's very thick and I ordered mine with full ice. 50% sweet, but honestly I could have done 25% , it was still a little sweet for me so I let the ice melt some. After tax and a tiny amount of tip the drink was $9.79 so definitely not cheap but it is flavorful! Their other flavors looks interesting so I'll prob check those out!

    Lovely stop.

It was a good stop. It was so quiet inside on a Tuesday morning before 9:30am. There are two self service kiosks which was convenient for placing orders for dine-in or takeout. Menu was plentiful with various selections, so it did take awhile to browse. Interior decorations were cute, cozy, comfortable, and relaxing. Service is minimal, but they do greet you at the front as you pick up your items. Toss your own trash. You will need a code to use their public restroom inside. I ordered their popular strawberry cream sando with the egg potato salad sando on toast breads. Very good. Delicious. Toast was puffy and portions were huge. I like it. Authentic Japanese touch to it. I had the regular matcha milk tea beverage. Light and 50% wasn't too sweet. Love it. Their matcha content isn't heavy, too strong, dark, or bitter in taste. It blends well with the ice and milk balance. Yes, light flavored matcha here. My ham & cheese toast sandwich was the bomb for breakfast. Lovely toasted bread! Both sides were good in color and texture. Nice. I know that I will be revisiting again as I sat inside for an hour or so. Cute pillows. Totoro image on the wall. Kitty cat on the floor mat by the entrance doors when coming from their public parking lot in back. Yes, it's convenient free parking onsite. Good feeling here. Glad I took some time to check it out. Mango matcha beverage looks tempting too.

Really wanted to love this place but it was a bit of a loss for me. The egg salad sandwich that I got was lacking in flavor and the potatoes were undercooked. The fruit sandwich, I had high expectations for, and was hoping it would be just like Japan's but it was just eh. I did keep the stars up because I really did enjoy my matcha and I could see myself going back to get another if I was nearby.

New kid on the block! Macchi takes over what used to be Flavor Brigade next to Taqueria Don Chepe and Time Thai. I *think* they're a Japanese bakery/cafe since many of their menu items are matcha forward, and they have strawberry/cream sandos and egg sandos! Parking can be limited in the lot, but their vibes are worth the effort :) Very clean, minimalistic design with two order screens and WiFi. I was working from there and saw a lot of students pop by. Turns out they offer a 10% student discount for 11 menu items! Macchi Coffee Corn Latte ($7.99): Ah the price is steep but alas, I hate that I liked it ha! The corn flavor isn't too strong but it's there, and it surprisingly paired nicely with the coffee. I got it 75% sweet which was perfect, and I was tempted to add a foam option. Foam flavors are matcha, strawberry, or banana (!!) for $1.00 or salted caramel, cheese, mango for $1.20. No extra charge for oat milk. Macchi Mix Sando ($11.49): This was half strawberry/cream and half egg potato salad with bacon bits! Packed sandwiches and I was pretty full afterwards, but taste wise nothing too out of the ordinary. They have quite an extensive menu; outside of tea/coffee/baked goods, they also have slushes and ice cream! Next time I want to try the Macchi Thai, matcha banana latte, and/or one of the desserts. Their Buldak and cheese ramen would be perfect for late night downtown drunchies but I think they close at 8:00pm!

Service was great and quick. The regular matcha latte didn't taste very fresh and the flavor wasn't quite what I'd call premium. However, the fruit matcha lattes (strawberry and mango) were much better - flavorful and refreshing. The decor is super cute, making it a nice spot for studying. They play kpop music, and you order from the Kisoki. I'd like to come back and try their sandwiches/food next time.

Matcha was very light in flavor and whether it was the the corn latte or the banana latte, neither one had much flavor. There wasn't anything special about the macchi ham and cheese or the macchi mix sando. I feel like the bread is the key factor in a Japanese style sando and it wasn't moist or pillowy. There were traces of the crust, and it tasted a bit dry even though the strawberry one had a thick layer of cream and the egg sando was stuffed. It was more of a potato egg salad then an egg sandwich. The packaging and the interior of the store was very cute though.

I've read the reviews, I feel like those that mention the owner must know the owner, hence the ratings that go along with that. The menu is confusing, a friend brought me a hot banana latte from here and I loved it, so I stopped in to get one myself along with a bite for breakfast. I tried to order a hot banana latte but that's not what I got. I got what was pictured in the menu when I ordered so I didn't complain. I challenge you to find a picture of a hot banana latte, maybe they'll fix it by the time you read this, check out my video of the confusing menu. There was a steady flow of customers but the vibe was a little off. When I was there, no music playing, it just felt meh. I used the restroom and was greeted by a sink for sale, an empty seat cover dispenser, and the remains of two rolls of toilet paper. Having had both the hot and cold banana latte now, I prefer the hot better. The egg salad "sando" wasn't quite like other sandos I've had. The bread seemed like simple white bread from the grocery store, the filling had tons of potato. It kind of had that grocery store deli feel, egg, bacon, tons of potato and mustard/mayo. Not horrible but in my opinion not worth $10.99 (or was $12.99 as seen on the label in my photo) I know this place is new, but... I'm hoping I can go back and have a hot banana latte while this place is still around, it was deelish!

Came in around 1:30 on Thursday and i ordered on the kiosk. Super cute decor. Vibe: 5/5 Theres a small parking lot located out back, and a couple of small tables. This place would be good for a quick work sesh but make sure your devices are all charged, I didn't notice many outlets. Service: 5/5 I noticed there was one person working and she was super helpful with everyone, but it did take some time to make drinks. This place is located right next to the HS! Drinks: 3/5 I ordered a matcha latte 25% sweet with oat milk put a note for less milk since I don't like my drinks too milky. My drink was honestly just okay and not too sweet, which is great, matcha wasn't hella strong. I would love there to be a double shot option on the menu. There's not a lot of matcha places in the tri valley. I'm curious to try their other items on the menu such as their corn latte!

Sorry. I hate giving businesses anything less than 4 stars, but here's my honest review... The drinks we got were decent but they're not something exclusive that I can only order there. Also can't tell if they forgot the foam on my husbands drink or if that's just how it is. I thought usually the foam should be on top, but as you can see from the single photo of his matcha, that was right upon receiving it (pre-stirred). I got a half potato salad w/ bacon sando and it was not to my liking. The bread is not fluffy and on par with bread usually used with Japanese sandos. Sprinkled bacon bits that you get from a container only on the outside of the sando, it's not fully mixed in with the potato salad. The potato salad was also a bit too sweet for my liking. Also, the skinny straw available gets buried into your cup if your drink is in the taller cup. The type of lid they use you shouldn't need a straw, but I needed the straw to stir my drink. FYI: the ordering kiosk is at the back of the shop. Makes sense because you really enter from the back because that's where the parking lot is. In addition, they also call out your orders one a time as it becomes ready and don't wait until they're all ready together.

Macchi is a new dessert establishment that has recently joined the downtown Pleasanton scene. However, I think it has a confusing brand identity as it does an array of boba drinks including matcha, ice cream, and frozen dessert treats. I generally think when places try to be a little bit of everything, it doesn't do anything particularly well. Because of its location in a strip mall is in a building located off of the main street, it has a weird layout where there is both a street-facing front entrance and a side-entrance near the back of the store where you would enter if you park in the parking lot. The two ordering kiosks happened to be located at this side entrance while the main cashier and where orders are picked up are at the front entrance. We came on a late evening and the place smelled of a very strong cleaning chemical. It definitely was not a smell you would want to be inhaling at a place you are looking to enjoy a sweet treat. There's a fair amount of interior seating but everything seems pretty stale and cold. Nothing was very warm and inviting about the interior decor despite it being recently remodeled from the previous tenant. We ordered the affogato and a frozen cheesecake on a stick. Prices are on the high end. Once we got our order the cheesecake on a stick did not appear anything like what it looked like on the ordering kiosk. It turned out that they had given us the wrong item, and admitted that somebody had misplaced the items in their freezer. We ended up getting to keep the incorrect item which was just a plain chocolate covered ice cream sandwich while also getting the item we had ordered. It was pretty standard but at a steep price. The affogato was on the bitter side and the coffee wasn't in particular any good. All in all this will be a one-time visit for us.

I found this cute spot in Pleasanton,ca and it's so nice to sit and get a cold drink on a hot day and some yummy sando on the side. Great food, friendly service.

We stopped by around noon on a Saturday and were thrilled to be seated immediately--which is a massive win for a weekend! Despite getting a table right away, the place had a great energy and was filled with people enjoying their brunch. They have plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating to choose from. The food and drinks completely delivered: * The Chocolate Bonus: My son ordered this, and it was a showstopper. A chocolate crêpe packed with strawberries, bananas, and Nutella, then topped with chocolate syrup and powdered sugar. This was hands-down one of the best crêpes we have ever tasted--absolutely heavenly! * Chorizo Omelette: My wife and I shared this, and it was divine. It was served perfectly warm, cheesy, and loaded with spicy pork chorizo, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and pepper jack cheese. * Mushroom Galette: Our second shared item was a savory buckwheat crêpe filled with mozzarella, sautéed mushrooms, and red onions, all topped with a gorgeous sunny-side-up egg. Another really good, flavorful dish. * Ham & Eggs: Ordered by my daughter, this came with a side of home potatoes and garlic toast. It was a solid, decent option that rounded out the table well. The Drinks & Service We ordered a Vanilla Latte and a Caramel Latte. Both arrived extra hot and featured some beautiful art on the foam. The vanilla latte in particular was exceptional--honestly one of the best we've ever had. To top off a wonderful meal, our waitress, Jocelyn, was incredibly nice and attentive throughout our visit. The food: is absolutely scrumptious. I had the spinach biscuit sandwich and it was the most delicious breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The flaky biscuit with spinach throughout is so clever. My bf got the breakfast burrito which was loaded with protein and he enjoyed it. He also got the cinnamon toast which I didn't have a chance to try because he finished it so fast. The matcha latte fell short though. I asked how many scoops they used and they said one and a half and my matcha still tasted like oat milk. Not the vibrant green stuff. Service: everyone here is working so hard to clear plates and get you your food as fast as possible. Loved how efficient everyone was! Will def be coming back!

But if you live around or have friends visiting you from out of town, it's a great local place with fresh food and a good setup for brunch. Our orders: Breakfast Sammie with Bacon and overeasy egg ($15.00) -- solid! Turkey Pesto Panini with Green Salad ($17.00) -- not bad! Drip ($3.00) -- I esp appreciated you can self serve and the rotating drip coffees were some solid beans, e.g. chromatic hearts anaerobic varietal House Made Cream Scone Spinach ($4.50) -- good!

Delah Coffee is an absolute gem. OPEN to 12!!!!…read more From the moment you walk in, you can tell they put a lot of thought into creating a beautiful, welcoming space. There's plenty of private parking, lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and the upscale décor makes it a great place to meet friends, get some work done, or simply enjoy a quiet cup of coffee. I ordered the Caramel Macchiato, and it was easily one of the best I've ever had. Rich espresso, perfectly balanced sweetness, and incredibly smooth. The pastries were just as impressive. The Pistachio Baklava Nest was generously filled with pistachios and had the perfect balance of crunch and sweetness. The Biscoff Cheese Danish was another standout, topped with Biscoff drizzle and a whole Biscoff cookie that made every bite even better. The café also has a large-screen TV and clean, separate men's and women's restrooms, making it comfortable for longer visits. Whether you're stopping by for your morning coffee or meeting up with friends, Delah Coffee delivers excellent drinks, delicious pastries, and an inviting atmosphere. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu.

Location: Super elegant, chilly, lots of seating, overall very good vibes. The workers were nice,…read moredidnt have to wait to order which was nice and overall very welcoming even when they accidently spilled my drink they remade it right away. Food: I went here twice and every single time I get any of the shwarmas or meat pies, its cold. Not just a little bit, the entire inside and bottom is soggy cold. It tastes good, super light not heavy, but the coldness makes it unappetizing unfortunatly. Additionally, the biscoff cake was super dry for a milk cake, but the taste is still nice. The saffron and caramel cake are nice though, milky, sweet, pairs well with a hot drink. Drink: Dissapointing. Matcha, Chai, Latte, Smoothie, Refresher--I tried them all and was dissapointing. Matcha (latte, mango, and strawberry) tasted insanely water, same with the adani chai--which is something I look forward to at every cafe. I think increasing the milk content in the chai could really improve it. Coffee was also done poorly (iced and hot). Refresher was alright, super sweet but other than that it wasnt bad. The only thing that was the best was the smoothie. The mangorabian tastes like a chocolatey mango lassi, you can't go wrong with a smoothie. Room for improvement on everything. Overall: Very nice elegant cafe that is perfect for hangouts and doing work, the food needs to get warmed up longer to avoid coldness and all the drinks need to be improved to increase the quality of the taste. Looking forward to the change!

Drink ordered were placed soon after. After reviewing the menu and made up our minds, our food order was placed as well. Food was served, enjoyed with the family. I ordered the crab cake Benedict with my Paloma mimosa. The other plates in my table consisted of the country fried steak and chilaquiles which were both great and enjoyed. We had our table our chit chat, ordered pancakes for dessert and overall we enjoyed the environment, speed of food being served and attentive service provided by the restaurant servers.

There was an option for outdoor and patio seating - we opted for whatever was quickest. After about 10 minutes our name was called for an indoor booth. Our waitress was kind and great at checking in on us. I went with the California omelet. We received our food after about 15 minutes. The food itself was ok. The hash browns were undercooked (underneath the top crispy part) and the oil the food was cooked in, tasted stale. The portion size was definitely on the bigger end and the omelet was stuffed with veggies. Would come back on an off peak day to try a few of their lunch options!
