I was able to try this at a company outing. The food was ready in a timely manner. I was able to eat two of their salads. I had the tossed and Panatieri's salad. The tossed salad consisted of lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, onions, and cucumbers. I had this with a balsamic vinaigrette. This was solid. Everything appeared very fresh and was just a simple salad done right. The Panatieri's salad had fresh mozzarella and roasted peppers over mixed greens. Again, this seemed to be fresh. The roasted peppers were cut nicely, and the mozzarella was tasty as well. Once again, a straightforward salad done correctly. Will I go back? I don't see why not. read more

Panatieri's has good Italian food, my family loves it but I think it's decent but not bad. I had a bitter sweet gluten-free experience: I was happy to see GF pizza on the menu and was even more delighted when it came in its own labeled box with a separate pizza server to prevent cross contamination. However, the quality of the pizza did not meet my expectations. The texture is grainy and the pizza falls apart easily. It appears to be a heated up frozen pizza. Perfectly good run-of-the-mill pizza. Nothing to drive an hour for but gets the job done. Have had it by the slice several times and it has been consistently pretty good, particularly the Sicilian. Just ordered a whole Sicilian and didn't care for it nearly as much as the by the slice, which I found very strange. The crust was very dry and they were really skimpy with the pepperoni and sausage. Very disappointing. Many reviews were whinging about the service. Get over it. This is a strip center pizza place, not a linen tablecloth sit down restaurant. Get over it. Panatieri's is a small, New Jersey chain that consistently puts out good pizza. Other locations have not disappointed me and the Bedminster location is no different. The plain has a nice, thin, and crisp base. It also features a delicious, stretchy cheese. It's a great, foldable slice. The squares have a fluffier base with a crispier crust. The sauce is high-quality. Garlic and other spices add a ton of flavor. The Brooklyn pie has more sauce and a great flavor. Great pizza every time. My family is pretty basic when it comes to getting a pie: plain and well done and we'll be happy! Panatieri's (we either go here or the loc in Flemington) gets it right every order. The crust is just the perfect thinness and sauce is super flavorful. I never seem to get a picture to post here on Yelp because it never lasts long once we walk in the door. A pie never takes more than 20 or so minutes, the staff are all usually really friendly and they are pretty affordable. Great choice if you are in the area and looking for a great slice! read more

Upon entering, they have all kinds of italian food displayed under the heat lamps. Sit down area is small but adequate and menu extensive. Pizzas, Calzones, Strombolis, Pastas, and Sandwiches, et al. We ordered our usual: Stuffed meat lovers pizza, small pepperoni, sausage, olive calzone with marinara. Twenty minute wait, food was ready, and consumed in short order. My new favorite Bedminster Pizza! I been to every other shop in and around town. I must confess that I avoided this one because it's a chain. I guess I had it in my mind it would be like Sbarros mall pizza but I was way wrong. Their plan pies are solid, great sauce and they aren't afraid to load on the toppings. We tried a couple of cheesesteaks the other day and a couple of the specialty slices. All were fresh and very good. I wouldn't say any of their food is off the charts "heart of Brooklyn" amazing, but it's still pretty darn good pizza and worth checking it out. This is officially our family pizza joint when we don't feel like leaving town to get pie. Service is also great, orders done fast and staff is always friendly. My only criticism is they don't deliver. We have used DoorDash but then get wacked with all their fees and delivery charges. This is the only reason I knocked a star off my rating. read more

Man, I've missed New Jersey. The bar for pizza in this state is high. Even though the locals may not find this place to be all that exciting, they do really good work. Pizza's are hand formed. The pies are cooked directly on the oven floor. The sauce has character. The cheese has actual flavor. And toppings are delicious. Now, I know what you may be saying to yourself if you're from Jersey. That's just the definition of pizza. What else would it be? But in most of the country, pizzas don't even begin to measure up to the minimum criteria of the form. It's a tragedy. And yet, somehow, pizza is one of America's favorite foods. I was into the rosemary added to the sauce, and I loved the bottom crust. I did wish for more end crust, and more lift. But a slice at Panatieri's really hit the spot. read more

I've given this place several tries and although the pizza is decent, it would be masochistic to continue to expose myself to the hellish service. Panatieri's used to be great hands down. Unfortunately, our last 2 orders have been incorrect and it's the last time we will order from this location. The people who work at this location cannot seem to get their act together whether it's forgetting item, not taking the orders correctly or not having their food ready on time. This last time we ordered a sub and a pizza. I had the order read back to me because of the woman taking the order was absolutely not listening. We were told 40 minutes and when we arrived to pick the order up they handed us a sub, having totally forgotten to make the pizza. They did not appear too busy, and certainly had adequate staff. How does a pizzeria forget to make the pizza? Needless to say we returned home without dinner for 3 of us. Management has either changed or just doesn't care. read more

We've only ever had the pizza -- slices usually. Maybe not the best, but much better than average. The standards are good, but their specialty pizzas are hit-or-miss. All in all, I'd say a B+ to an A-. The selection of pizzas is OUTSTANDING and happily are available all the way to closing. I've had Panatieri's before but not at this location. I was pleasantly surprised at the decor and set up for the pizzas. It looked like it was newly renovated (was it? Lol). Upon entry, I noticed how clean it was. I ordered their version of the Chicago deep dish (mostly meat). It was ready not long after I called so only needed to wait a few minutes....not good for me to sit there hungry staring at the lovely display of pizzas. When I say lovely, I mean kind of like a showcase of their pizzas. They were all neatly arranged and well lit. Paying and leaving was uneventful. I got home and my husband was surprised they had a pie like that. We tried it and we were pleasantly surprised they it was tasty and not overly doughy (and not greasy at all!). I like Pizza Hut but they tend to be super greasy (like squishy greasy lol). One slice was enough for me. I'd like to try out the other Chicago style pizza. Next time! read more

They have all your standard toppings and quite a few gourmet flavors like chicken masala, cheesesteak and chicken Caesar salad pizza. The spinach gourmet has fresh vegetable toppings with tomato, mozzarella cheese and spinach. I especially like their deep dish pizza with the crispy crust. They have Sicilian pizza too. They run half price entree specials on Mondays with the purchase of any drink which is not bad at all. The staff here are pretty friendly. Having never been to a Panatieri's before, I was a little worried that a "chain" pizza place was opening up. Upon first slice, I was clearly mistaken. Definitely my favorite pizza in the area. Bedminster Pizza was the previous winner, but even their slices can get a bit soggy at times. Panatieri's uses the right amount of (delicious) sauce, throwing on a heap of cheese, and always cooks it to the right texture. I'm not really worried about any of the odd pizza slices they sell (another reviewer gave them a poor review due to this selection) as I tend to keep it pretty standard and always order a full pie at a time.
