It has been there for a long, long time. We had eaten there before (when in the area to visit friends). Somehow I ended up getting charged $4.01 for 3 glasses of tap water. Rocco's never disappoints! I started coming here for their Sicilian pizza but everything I've tried is excellent. They have phenomenal buffalo wings that always come perfectly sauced and crispy. Sadly, I RARELY give a poor review but this is so deserving. We have been coming here for over 20 years and am so shocked at the horrible quality and service that we had yesterday. We ordered their pizza as a starter to share with friends. It was mediocre. We then ordered their cheesesteak sandwiches with mushrooms, onions and peppers..TWO orders. BOTH arrived without the additional toppings for which they charge EXTRA on the menu. They offered to replace them and , once again the replacements came WITHOUT the additional toppings and cheese! A very nice pizza restaurant in the strip mall where Kings is located. I am glad the workers are teenagers, and they are all very polite. The pizza is really good and fresh. Tried Sicilian, plain, and margarita slices. Knocked down a star because of the surcharge to credit card. It is a trend all over the places. The charge is 3.99%. You go to and order from Rocco's for the food, not the ambiance. It's a typical pizzeria with added space for seating. Their pizza is the main attraction and their pasta dishes are large. I went with a slice of plain and Margherita. The plain was greasy and the sauce was thin and tasted cheap. The base wasn't very crispy which led to major flop. The Margherita was a bit better. It had a crispier base and the sauce was more full. They went a little heavy on seasoning/spices in my opinion. The pizza here is pretty average overall. I'm a frequent customer of Rocco's and normally I have only good things to say. Their pizza is good. Maybe not the best I've ever had but that's a high bar to set and I'm comfortable saying that it's normally good Pizza. Don't know what happened on my last trip for pizza on 8/9/22 things did not go well. We ordered a thin crust Half sausage and half pepperoni. Got it home and the first thing we noticed is it was not thin crust. OK, mistake's happen. But the crust was dry and hard, we are fairly certain that this pie was sitting for a while and to fill our order they just added the toppings and shoved it back in the oven. Honestly we will use them again BUT if this occurs again we will find a new pizza restaurant. read more

Had a really great sub here! When you first walk in it seems like a smaller place, but then there are a lot of extra tables once you wrap around to the back area! Buffalo chicken slice was good too! Roccos staff is always friendly, timely and their quick delivery option keeps me a customer. As far as their food goes, their plain pie is spot on. Crust is just right and the sauce has just the right tang to it. Best plain pie in the area in my opinion. From there I have to say that most everything else I have ordered from there has been absent of flavor. Even when I add toppings to the plain pie it seems to take away the flavor. I can't really explain why but the plain pies are great and the rest is just bland. I have also ordered several hot sandwiches as well and found everything I have ordered over the years are also particularly bland. Certainly not terrible, just bland. In short if you are looking for a solid plain pie and want to support a nice group of guys running a local business please give them a shot. If this place is "family owned" we suggest you get mama back in the kitchen because you don't know how to make certain foods. The first thing we were put off by, was the weird pattern of the dinning room. It was extremely tight and went in all different directions. Was not attractive at all. The place is trying to pull off a "to go" only place into a place were its a restaraunt and that's not this place. Second, was put off by the help wanted. Over heard that there was no waitress for a Saturday night. Its a prime day of business and you didn't even resolve having a waitress. That mean's all your waitresses quit because they weren't making any money, so that shows people are going elsewhere. Onto the food, the main course was tasteless and had too much oil. Secondly, you should go back and open the book and learn how to make pasta faglio the right way. Again it was tasteless as well. Missing 3 main ingredients that make a pasta faglio a pasta fagilio. It means pasta and beans, and one thing you forgot was the kindney beans. You also forgot the garlic and the panchetta, and your paying $9.00 for it. The only good thing about the place is the sicilian pizza. Was very good, fresh dough and you could smell the dough when you ate the slice. Everything else is bottled soda, the tables were not set up for dining, which means poor ownership management. If you have no waitress for that night and its a Saturday night, why arent the tables setup so that when or if it does get business you have one less complication to resolve and most importantly having your customer know and see how out of order you have things in this place. read more

*Disclaimer: I would like to update once covid restrictions ease up to go back to Roccos to try them again. My hubs and I decided to give them a try (first order). I made the mistake of showing up to order on a Fri/Sat night. Meatball sub, eggplant parm sandwich, and a small pic. Stupid me, I was probably better off calling in an order. As soon as they started my order, I was told the wait would be about 45 mins to an hour. At this point, I said ok, I'll wait outside (there were tables and chairs). I was out of their 45 mins on the dot. I got home and we opened up the orders. My husband felt like his subs was mostly bread while my eggplant parm looked like it exploded lol. I mean - Don't get me wrong, that's more food for me and all haha. But pretty much all over mess when opening up. The pie was decent and did the job. I think next time, I'd like to order and eat there (once we all have the green light to do so. Given the number of orders they were plowing through that night, I want to be able to try it again (note, the disclaimer). Keep up the hustle, Rocco's. Food was awful. Ordered Baked Ziti, and it came baked in CHEESE with a few small spoonfuls of sauce drizzled over the top, the only sauce in the dish!! This is not Baked Ziti, not Italian food, and unfortunately, not very good. I will never order from there again. When a girl shouted "you gotta pay for that pizza" I said I already paid.."no you didn't , you gotta pay!! I was at a loss for words because I already paid. I saw the fellow that I gave the money to and looked at him and said I paid you already and he said no you didn't!! At this point I was getting pretty angry because I had a hot pizza in my hands but I was not allowed to leave!! Luckily I remembered the exact amount being $20.74 so I said I paid you $25.74 don't you remember?. The dude thought about it and said oh yeah The girl continued to say that I need to pay for the pizza now...WOW!! Be careful when you go to this place and make sure that if you pay with cash that you get a receipt. Do not do any business at this restaurant without getting a receipt first. They're all a bunch of crooks here. By the way this is not my usual restaurant the Pizza tasted like cardboard The Dough is over an inch thick totally dried out and hard. The cheese is that typical oily cheap restaurant cheese. Furthermore I did not appreciate the special corona pricing. This is the second time I called ahead for an order, was told 25 minutes, and when I showed up (30 minutes later) I still had to wait 20 minutes. It was obvious they (again) forgot to make part of the order and I had to wait for it to be made. What's worse though is (again) no one apologized, no one explained what happened. As a matter of fact the "manager" despite knowing what happened and seeing me impatiently waiting for 20 minutes didn't even acknowledge me. I could have made a big issue but I understand mistakes happen. But to no even apologize and to act like I'm not even there? Sorry, there are lots of pizza restaurants in the Bedminster area. How you gonna use grated parmesan cheese (bet it wasn't even Kraft) throughout the whole pizza instead of mozzarella; smelt nearly took my breath away!
