I would have given this review 5 stars if solely based on the food however needed to knock it down a few points for the service. We had a 7pm resy for 10 girls for a bachelorette party and were seated about 10 minutes late which was fine however after we sat it took another 30 mins for them to even bring us water or the two pitchers of sangria we had ordered immediately. We ordered a bunch of the tapas to split and the largest size paella. Since other people were bringing the food to our table though it felt like our waitress barely ever came back to check on us. When we were all finished the waitress brought the check over, we paid and then they brought out a dessert and a glass of champagne to celebrate our bride, a cute touch but I thought was funny that they dropped off 10 small plates assuming we were going to cut pieces of the tiny cake the gave us (enough for about a spoonful for each of us lol). This is when the service got troublesome. As our bride was finishing up her dessert the waitress comes back and tells us she forgot to add a few drinks we ordered to the bill (which again, we had already paid). However when she tells us this, she did not have a corrected bill with her, she walks away and says she'll be back. So now we're all finished and just waiting for her to come back. You'd think since it was her mistake for leaving the drinks off the bill she would either have the corrected bill ready for us when she told us or just comp the drinks since we already paid and we're getting ready to leave. Our waitress was nowhere in sight and we did not want to wait any longer so we left money on the table and left. On our way out the waitress saw us and said "oh don't worry about those drinks" to which we told her there was money on the table but overall just an odd situation. As for the food. Genuinely everything was delicious. The tapas style was fun although a little hard to split with such a large group but I did get to taste most of what we ordered. Would highly recommend the mussels, the shrimp balls, and the beef empanadas although I don't think you could go wrong with anything. And the paella was very very good.

Spain Wine Bar is a rooftop tapas-style wine bar and restaurant. It's located on top of the Cambria Hotel on St. Louis Avenue in Ocean City. I love trying a variety of dishes, so tapas are always a favorite of mine, and this place absolutely delivered, meeting every imaginable expectation. The food was delicious, our server Milos was friendly and attentive throughout, and the dining area was beautiful, offering an incredible rooftop view of Isle of Wight Bay. We started with the crispy calamari served with a smoky chipotle aioli and a perfectly cooked flank steak complemented by a flavorful green chimichurri. Next, we tried the beef sliders, BBQ pork ribs, and butter lobster risotto. The sliders were juicy and packed with flavor, topped with Mahon cheese, tomato, caramelized onion, arugula, and garlic aioli. The ribs were coated in a rich chipotle BBQ sauce and practically melted in our mouths, while the risotto was creamy and indulgent, with generous chunks of fresh lobster. For our main, the "Large Experience," we split the Valencia, a Spanish paella featuring New York strip steak, chorizo, sausage, chicken, green beans, chickpeas, and garlic aioli. Easily the best paella I've ever had. For dessert, we shared the pistachio lava cake and olive oil cake. While it was the least impressive part of the meal, both desserts were still delightful and a perfect sweet finish.

Great food, drinks and service. Would highly recommend if in the area. Good music, attention and phenomenal views. The sangria was on point.

My friend's parents really wanted to check out this fantastic wine bar! The view. The food. The wine. The waiter Denis who gave amazing service and recommendations. It will not disappoint!! It's a bustling place and you should make a reservation a few weeks in advance if you want a chance of making it in. The view is amazing at sunset. So lovely to be on the water. Okay, food talk: MAR DE FRADES BRUT NATURE ALBARINO (Rias Baixas, Spain)-- highly recommend. Our waiter Denis recommended it and I LOVED it! My friend got the non Brut (sparkling) version and enjoyed it too. Her parents tried a rose which tasted good too. Okayyy now the food for real: My friend's parents got: Brussel sprouts-- they are incredible!! Wonderfully balanced. Street corn which has an amazing sauce. Flank steak which was nicely cooked. My friend and I split: Lamp chops: amazingly flavored Scallop risotto: those scallops were sooo fresh! Cauliflower: I liked the roasted cauliflower, the sauce is nice! We all split the meat paella which was incredible. We had leftovers. Sadly, too full for dessert. But lll be backkkk!! Highly recommend this place. I wanna go back soo badly to try out brunch or more dinner :)

I've been wanting to go here for the longest time!! Finally got to go for my birthday! There was 8 of us so we had tapas and passed them around. Everything was delicious!! Some of the items we got that were my favorite were the shrimp croquettes, the tuna tartar and the beet salad. So nice inside, we sat by the window in the bay side and it was gorgeous! Can't wait to go back again!

Excellent food, service and ambiance! No wonder it's so hard to get a reservation here. Our waitress was friendly and went above and beyond for my bday celebration at this restaurant. We sat outdoors and it was windy and chilly. She noticed I was cold and offered me a blanket. We definitely ordered too much food for two people, but they have so many things on their menu that I wanted to try! Ended up taking some paella to go. My only complaint is that even though we made a reservation and we showed up on time for it, we still had to sit in the crowded lobby and wait maybe 30min extra. Nobody called us and we had to go up to the hostess to check on our status and it was only then that they finally said there's a table for us. So make sure to not sit too long, don't be shy and ask the hostess if your table is ready bcus it could be possible they forgot about you!

What to say! This place is AMAZING! Ok, 1. You NEED to make a reservation. It gets packed. 2. Paul from Romania (Amazing), he took us through the whole experience, explaining the menu, explaining how the kitchen works, making suggestion about the drink menu. It's a tapas menu but the portions are large enough to share for four people. Paul made sure to also make sure that my special occasion was celebrated champagne. When you make your reservation ask to sit out the balcony so you can watch the sun set. They don't rush you. We highly recommend this place.

Stayed overnight at the hotel this restaurant is in so figured why don't we try it. Made reservations earlier in the day for 7:30. Got there a little before 7:30 and waited a little to be seated. Ordered lamb bolognese, duck breast, winter salad, meatballs and lump crab fritter things. The winter salad actually never came but the staff was very apologetic and comped us a dessert (we got the olive oil cake). Lamb bolognese and duck were both good, cooked well and good flavor. The meatballs (albondiagas) we did not like, they were dry and very forward in a spice we couldn't identify. Crab things were fine but I could do without them. Olive oil cake was probably my favorite dish of the night (minus the ice cream). Overall a good meal and would come back and try other dishes.

My husband and I made a visit to Spain during a new year's trip to OC. They give directions on parking, but it can still be a little confusing when it's dark. The restaurant is in the Cambria hotel before ocean gateway, and you take the elevator to the 8th floor. We had a reservation and were seated about 10 minutes later. The waiting area was absolutely packed, as was the indoor and outdoor dining areas. We had Lourdes as our waitress, and she was absolutely fantastic. She was super friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive! I'm a huge fan of Del Mar in DC so I was excited to see how Spain compares. Spain is fantastic for the OC area, and you wouldn't necessarily expect such good tapas in the area. For those more familiar with tapas, it's very good some dishes better than others but not the best I've ever had. The service and drinks also made it an amazing experience. We sat in the outdoor rooftop area, luckily under heating lamps but some people weren't and requested to be moved indoors. For dinner, we ordered the flank steak, gambas, tuna tartare, mussels with chorizo, croquettes, and patatas bravas. The steak was done medium, and was quite tender with chimichurri on top. This is a good portion for 2-3 if you're doing a bunch of tapas or other items. The mussels were very good and it came with diced chorizo (not ground). It was fantastic and good with the bread. It definitely could have used maybe some diced onion or a little more herbs. The tuna was absolutely fantastic, and could serve 3-4. It came with avocado and cucumber which added a perfect crunch. I'd have loved if the crackers were plain or another flavor besides everything bagel seasoned, but my husband loved it. The tuna tasted fresh too. The gambas / shrimp were good, it came with about 6-7 pieces that were medium sized. It wasn't very hot when it came out, just a little warm. The chilis and garlic added the perfect spice and flavor to the oil, which is the best with the bread! The patatas bravas were in a huge dish, double other tapas places. It did have a little more mayo and sauce than needed, but super good and crispy. Lastly, the croquettes were amazing. I forgot to order them upfront and I'm glad I remembered to add them later! They were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Came dusted with paprika. They were probably tied as a top dish if I could give ties lol. They have a great drink and wine selection, the food comes out quick, 2-20 minutes depending on the item. My husband and I ranked our tapas by favorites: tuna, mussels, croquettes, shrimp, steak, patatas. (He liked the mussels more than the shrimp, but I liked the shrimp more!). The pricing is a little higher, but it's also a nicer spot in the OC, so it's as expected. We will definitely be back next time we're in OC! So good!

I don't even know where to begin with Spain wine bar. This place blew all my tapas expectations out of the water. I don't think I have ever been to a better one. To start, we were gifted a last minute date night from the grandparents. I called to see how long a wait would be for a walk in and the hostess very happily squeezed us in for a reservation even thought they were booked online. We drove to the hotel and they only have about 15 parking spots. I thought, this will be a tiny restaurant with only this much parking. Wrong. We found a park mobile spot about 2 blocks away and it was nice to walk after eating the way we did. When you walk in, they give you the feel of a small Spanish wine cellar. The bar is trendy, all the wine vibes, and breezy from the open air windows. Then they walk you to the back and you are truly transported to Europe. It was magical. Almost like a Disney restaurant where you don't feel like you are anywhere that you actually are. Once we sat down, we ordered probably about half the menu. I couldn't even get pictures of everything and I don't even know how to advise you because literally everything was that good. The cocktails were on point, the food was phenomenal, and the service was outstanding. Our table was never crowded with plates, the waitress was quick to refill drinks and make sure we were attended to, but never bothered us too much. Some of the must order items for next time are the tuna crudo, the short rib poutine, and the bacon wrapped dates. I felt like somebody feed Phil because the dates actually made me dance. Even the free bread was probably some of the better bread I've had at restaurants! This is one of my new ocean city favorites. It is constantly packed and tough to get in to and now I see why.

We had reservations for dinner at Spain Wine Bar and it was a fabulous dinner experience. It's a Spanish tapas bar on the roof of Hotel Cambria overlooking the bay, so the ambiance is quite upscale and classy. We ordered about 6 different tapas and the small Valencia paella for our party of four that it was plenty of food and we had leftovers. We tried the lollipop chicken, mahi mahi, shrimp, croquettes, beef sliders, and calamari. All dishes were delicious and tasty. We even finished dinner off with the coconut cream flan for dessert, which was a delicious ending to our meals. I definitely would recommend trying this place when in Ocean City and making reservations in advance.

So beautiful located on the eighth floor of the Cambria hotel in O.C. with beautifully draped white wisteria and roof that opens up. I felt like I was in a real life fairytale! The tapas were delicious most especially the green chimichurri with the most tender flank steak. The patatas bravas paired well with flank steak and used the potatoes to soak up chimichurri sauce. The red sangria with the fruit frozen in the ice cubes was so refreshing ! Loved the orchid garnish. The spectacular view of the bay at sunset was breathtaking. It gets very busy at sunset for photo taking. The restaurant is expensive but worth for overall experience of the food and view!

It took a few minutes but we were quickly sat. Nice lighting, dark accents and an intimate feel - I liked the decor immediately. Let me start by saying it was good and the rigatoni that came with it was al dente and good as well. But there was little to no sauce on the chicken. It was basically just a cutlet with some sauce garnish. The chicken had a nice fry to it and the seasoning was good - it just reminded me of commercialized Italian like you would get at an Olive Garden. Not saying that's a terrible thing - just wasn't the homemade feel I like in Italian. They were out of a lot of desserts so I settled on tiramisu which was very good. You wouldn't think Italian at the beach but this is a nice place off the beaten path in west o. Give it a shot.

There are a handful of must visit restaurants while we stay in Berlin every May for our annual…read morevacation and Sunset Grille is one of them! We arrived right around 1:30pm on a nice (but breezy), sunny Saturday. Since it was a bit windy we decided to sit at Teaser's outdoor bar instead of out on the deck. We had our choice of bar seats on all 4 sides of the bar but the bar quickly filled up not long after. We chose the back side of the bar looking out at the marina which happened to be right by the orange squeezer which was a great move. The bartender, Kate (I believe), made many, many crushes while we were there. It's so nice seeing Orange Crushes made with fresh squeezed OJ. Kate was a pleasure to interact with and she made so many great recommendations (Spicy Mango Crush, Baltimore Club, Mediterranean Grain Bowl). We started with crushes of course, two Orange Crushes and a Grapefruit Crush. I then switched to a Spicy Mango Crush with a Tajin rim and I may have liked that better than the Grapefruit crush. My dad enjoyed my Spicy Mango Crush so much he ordered one for himself. My mom also switched it up and ordered an Espresso Martini which was a little disappointing to say the least. Per one of Kate's suggestions, I got the Baltimore Club which is a crabcake sandwich with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and shrimp salad served on an everything bun. The crabcake itself was really, really good and combined with all of the other toppings/fixin's I think this is a must order for me next time I'm here. My mom got the Applewood Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich and my dad got the Sunset Burger. All sandwiches are served with fries, slaw, or Mediterranean Salad. Everything was so good that we decided to come back the next day for lunch again. I ended up getting the Sunset Burger and my parents both ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Kate made another great recommendation as we all decided to go with the Mediterranean Salad as our side and it didn't disappoint. It was light, bright, refreshing, and citrusy. We've been coming to the area now from Jersey for years and have always had good experiences at Sunset Grille. The atmosphere is always great being right on the water but the food and service over these two days may have been the best yet. We will be back in June and will definitely be dining at Sunset Grille Marina.

We ordered the mahi sticks, shrimp wrap and French onion soup. The soup was fantastic just a little Pricey. The mahi sticks were ok but the sauce that came with them great. The wrap was full of shrimp and tasty. I had a pomegranate martini that was super good. Our waitress was very good. I think we would come again but... I thought it was a little expensive for what it was.

Incredible experience, and I would highly recommend for a special night out. Our server fully…read moreexplained the menu options. There was more than enough food for four people. We started with the cheese board and the crab dip. ( more bread or crackers for the crab and cheese board would have been nice) We moved on to the cheese fondue with one skewer of protein per person. 2 chicken and two scallops. My son found the chicken cooked enough, I found it a tad undercooked. The cheese fondue was very good, but I think it was "split" giving it a slightly lumpy texture. There were plenty of potatoes and veggies for four on the platter. We HAD to have dessert, but as stuffed as we were , we ordered for 2. There was more than enough for 4. The melted chocolate was divine!!! We all loved it and will be back again. It was a wonderful evening.

Have had multiple visits over the years seeing this establishment grow and have enjoyed them…read more However this was fourth and worse igloo visit. It was not clear on the website when making reservations that the menus posted were not for the igloos. Even items we asked about on the menus provided were not available (menu said available until 3 pm in igloo, it was 200 but still told no- yet we also couldn't get the steak or rockfish in the igloo. As well, previous igloo visit options provided fondue for 2 (not 5!) and could be altered for one meat and one seafood eater however this time we would've had to at $240 to get both. At minimum $120+$10-$12 extra to add one skewer. Although the ambiance is an "experience" it was not a satisfying culinary experience. As well, it was not clear we couldn't divide our checks up amongst each couple as most all restaurants can do. (Can only do 2 checks, we had 3 couples) It was more cumbersome on the waitress and us than just charging each couple one bill, we weren't sharing food or said put half this on each etc. it was clearly just 3 couples. As for what we did get... if crab dip hadn't had a shell in it I wouldn't have believed it had any crab in it, just cheese flavor. Steak skewer was well done (no choice given) yet veggies were aldente (to say the least). Wine was good but limited selection. I really don't understand why I can eat one think inside yet can't 20' away we would've had a much better experience if some accommodating had been offered on any of the above issues.
