If you're tummy and your wallet are empty, Pancho's is the place for you. Oh my goodness, what a lot of food! Pancho's is on the end of a strip mall. Despite the bright signs on the windows, it's a little unassuming (and a little bit tacky). It was a Friday evening but we were seated right away and were served the requisite chips and salsa. The salsa was a little on the thin side but it was still good. I ordered the chicken quesadilla while my husband ordered a specialty plate. I upgraded my chicken to grilled chicken vs shredded and what a good choice that was. A large flour tortilla stuffed with grilled chicken strips and cheese topped with just the right amount of queso. My meal came with rice, refried beans, sour cream and guac. It was very good and large enough that I took half home with me. My husband's meal was gigantic. His plate consisted of a beef hard taco, a chalupa, a beef tamale, a chili rellano and an enchilada. AND rice and beans and guac. The rellano was interesting - it wasn't battered and deep fried, it was just stuffed pepper and it was surprisingly good. Everything was tasty with the exception of the tamale, it was basically a large glob of masa with about a teaspoon of meat inside. We had enough food left over from both of our meals for dinner the next night. There are a couple of video screens on the walls scrolling through drink specials and advertisements and also a couple of regular TV's, one was showing ESPN and the other a news channel. The service at Pancho's is amazing! I usually get the fajita chicken quesadilla dinner (can't go wrong) but one time I got the birria tacos and they were so good! I'm really liking this place! Pancho's has become our #1 choice for Mexican cuisine over the last 6 months. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. The beer is cold and the food is hot. The chips are warm n fresh and salsa is on point. The restaurant is pretty big and has multiple setting options. It can get pretty loud when full, but well worth the visit. We go there about once a month. We know that they hardly check on us so refills may not happen but the price is reasonable and the food is reasonable. It's close to the house but tonight there was a whole ass roach that walked down the wall on my son's side after we freaking ate. The service and ambiance were decent. The food was not. The cheese sauce we ordered saved the chips and salsa. We only picked this place because we really wanted birria tacos. Theirs were not like what we were expecting. Normally the birria tacos are cooked and include cheese and cilantro....well not these. These were just meat and a lot of onions. We were charged extra for asking for cilantro. The fajitas were mediocre, which is odd when you consider how fajitas are made. Pancho's was great, in fact, so good that we didn't take a single pic of the food. The margaritas hit the spot and the atmosphere is colorful and laid back. Our server managed us and several other tables perfectly. All four of us enjoyed our entrees and definitely plan to be back. read more

This place is really pretty. I love the festive Mexican decorations. The staff here is beyond friendly and helpful. Every person here was so kind! They give you free chips and salsa. Their salsa was so delicious! To eat I had one of their vegetarian meals. I had a spinach burrito, cheese enchilada and chalupa. The spinach burrito and cheese enchilada were delicious! So cheesy! I can see how vegetarians can still enjoy food LOL! I also had one of my boyfriend's chorizo street tacos. I usually don't like chorizo, but these were amazing! I mainly enjoy Pancho's Mexican Grill for their margaritas! I love their top shelf frozen margarita, so tasty. The food is pretty good too. Service is decent and was much better my last visit but that depends on who you get of course. The restaurant is fairly clean and there is plenty of booth seating and TV's. The prices are very reasonable! And they even have great dinner deals for under $10. My favorite part was how quickly everything came out! read more

"MEH". This place is located in a not so great strip mall. Strip mall Mexican is a great way to describe it. It's not terrible but, I'm definitely not going back. The best word I can use for this place is, "meh". The salsa tasted like tomato water. Cheese dip was runny and flavourless. Chicken fajitas were "meh". But they look amazing compared to the chicken tres tacos my fiancé got. Those were, "bleh". And do not make the same mistake I did and order some chicken wings in case my entree sucked.... The wings were definitely fried. The question is, when? Probably not within a few hours of my order. I have no problems with wet wings, though I prefer dry, but these were slimy. No exaggeration. And they had to have made the ranch dressing without any dairy or mayo. Pro tip: if your ranch, or any creamy dressing, pours like water, don't serve it. read more

Came here for a friends birthday dinner. I ordered the burrito plate with a side of refried beans and rice. As far as Mexican places go, this place is pretty standard, that's not to say you shouldn't go though! I usually judge the chips and salsa wherever I go (despite it being free) and I have to say I really did enjoy it before eating. The waiter was awesome and kept our chips and salsa filled while promptly taking our orders. Everyone enjoyed the drinks and despite being such a large party, they accommodated is very well. Absolute worst mexican restaurant I have ever been to. This place use to be great 5-6 years ago. I think it changed names and ownership and the food has gotten increasingly worse. Why did I go back yesterday? Only because it was my son's birthday and he chose this place. My taquitos were overcooked, hard and dry and the meet burned. Not even dipping it into salsa helped with the dryness. The tea was like water. Jusgt awful!! We have many good mexican restaurants in the city. Don't waste your time or money here! read more

Terrible food. The waitress was mean and lazy. One time I waited an hour and then got into an argument with a different waitress and after that they finally decided to make my food. The steak fajitas had dry pieces of meat. It came out sizzling but was somehow still cold. At least the margs are strong. Or maybe that's just because they use bottom shelf liquor. Who knows. No complaints at all. Miguel was a great server and answered all of the questions that I had ( and I ask a lotttt of questions). I'm a vegan, and eating out can get difficult some times. He explained to me that they cook in butter usually but he can have them cook in oil for me. And he even had the kitchen cook my food on a separate part of the grill from where they usually cook in butter! The food tasted great and it was all very fresh. I ordered the Vegetarian Burrito with no cheese and I also ordered fresh guacamole come to the table. The guacamole, AMAZING! This is my second time eatimg here and I must say the coronrita are the best I have had in a very long time. I definitely recommend that even if you dont like mexican food just the visit for the drinks is worth it. I ordered the steak rice and cheese dish and it was very good. The guacamole is very good as well. My first visit here was Cinco de Mayo and it may have been a very busy day but it was not that good but I decided to give them another try and I'm glad I did. Pancho's was about to become a favorite until I had a bad experience on yesterday. I'm vegan and most Mexican restaurants have friendly options. I ordered no cheese or sour cream but my order came out with cheese on beans. Of course I returned the food and rather than correct the order, the food came back to me with beans to cover the cheese. Although they did not charge me after I discovered the cheese was still in the beans, this speaks volume to the lack of care consideration! We sat outside and the patio was nice. Food was ok, nothing to rave about. Drinks tasted like they had hardly any alcohol in them.

I was torn between 3 and 4 stars here, but settled on 3. The food was good, but the service was pretty rough. It repeatedly felt as if we were forgotten about. My steak tacos, enchilada, and tamale were decently priced and, with that decent a price in mind, pretty good! All in all, I definitely think I'm going to try a few more Mexican restaurants in the area before coming back to Pancho's. read more

There's an enormous amount of Chicken meat, perhaps a while breast and the bowl is big enough for two and it comes with a lime to wedge which I squeezed and dropped in the bowl-a lovely twist.
