Once in a while the scallion pancakes can taste a little dry but overall, we haven't really ever been dissatisfied with the food here.

This time, we decided to get chicken and broccoli with the soy ginger sauce. We also got the basil beef. My sister ordered sushi! The beef and chicken dishes were super delicious, and I like how they put a ton of meat in these dishes. Sometimes I find places put a ton more veggies than meat, but there was a perfect amount of both. The restaurant is also very welcoming with great ambiance, and they really decorated for Christmas which was nice to see. The bathrooms are also super clean. The service here is also fast, and our waitress was timely and made sure to take care of us and check once we got our food. My family looks forward to coming back here again!

After seeing that, she threw the pen at my friend, acted disrespectfully, and slammed the checkbook down. There was no reason to treat us like that over a tip. At least we came to your restaurant and paid for our food. The food was okay not the best and the restaurant itself was nice, but the attitude completely ruined the experience. The staff seriously need to work on how they treat customers. I would not recommend going here if this is how customers are treated for not leaving the amount they expect.

Vegetarians: Rejoice- no fish sauce/oil used in any curries or dishes aside from Pad Thai. Even that can be prepared without. We had our pickings off the lunch menu - which had a variety of dishes where you pick your protein which included tofu and mock duck. Each item comes with soup or salad and a spring roll. Massaman Curry with tofu, Green curry with mock duck and Basil thai fried rice with no egg. Salads were fresh with a peanut dressing. Spring rolls were hot and crispy with little to no oil. The green curry was spicy the way my wife prefers and the massaman curry was full of tofu, crinkle-cut carrots and potatoes. Large portions, lovely atmosphere and very helpful and polite staff. They have boba teas as well- which I plan on trying next time.

Thankfully, even if I couldn't easily find street parking in front of the restaurant, this place deserves every single star. Great work, not only is the food excellent but the decor is absolutely wonderful and the staff is beyond nice and welcoming. I went with my standard go-tos: Eggplant basil with tofu Tom yum soup with tofu Papaya salad Generous portions, lots of veggies, lots of flavor, enough spice to clear out my nose. I was thoroughly impressed. I'll be back.

Staff is friendly and warm, seems like a reservation heavy establishment but we were able to snag a table for 4 upon opening. Shortly after arrival the rest of the tables of 4 and even 10 filled up quickly. The dishes are huge and we left with plenty of leftovers. Happy bellies with meals made from the heart. Spring rolls 5/5 what a huge plate! Crispy and delicious. Bulalo soup 5/5 really hit the spot. Piping hot and could feed all 4 of us as a side or 2 people as a dish. Beef noodle soup (5/5) (had a bit of sweetness in case folks aren't into that) it was incredible tasty, ample meat and veggies and packed with flavor. My girls shared this and still had leftovers. Kare kare oxtail (5/5) anther awesome dish, heavy peanut flavor, loads of veggies (love!) and definitely had leftovers Would absolutely come back and highly recommend. Simple and hospitable space for small and large parties, would suggest making a reservation.

It was about 25 minutes away from where we were but the great experience here made our drive worth. The place is very homey with a wonderful staff. Service is impeccable. The owners are very friendly and has great customer relations skills. The foods are excellent. We had the pleasure of trying their bangus sisig, pork bbq and caldereta. The tastes exceeded our expectations. We learned that their chef hailed from Luzon so the degree of cooking style satisfied our taste buds. The calamansi drink I had was fabulous. Honestly, the best I had so far. Our halo/halo dessert was heavenly. Satisfied our sweet tooth. The serving size is in huge portion. Each order is shareable by around 2-3 people. Pricing is higher in comparison to other place but proportioned to the serving size. I have one star less for my review for two reasons- 1.The check includes a service charge that confused us if a gratuity should be given or not. We need to Google first for right information. We ended up adding gratuity for their hospitality . 2. Looking for parking spot is challenging. We ended up downloading the town's parking mobile app to get parked closer. We are willing to return if ever we are near the area.

Yes, I am one of those people who crave stinky tofu. Maybe it's my Taiwanese upbringing. Or maybe I was born with demented taste buds. I mean, who years for a dish that smells like the love child of gym socks and hot garbage? Me. I do. Anywho, Sofun was on our way to another spot, so we decided to stop by for lunch....and I couldn't believe how abso-effing authentic and delicious it was. - Stinky Tofu (臭豆腐): Not the full-blown, soft-stewed, CASSEROLE OF FUNK that I would've liked--but I rarely find that outside of Taiwan. This was the less stinky but still gorgeously pungent black, Hunan cousin. Crispy outside and soft inside, it was just fermented enough to make my organs shudder a bit but make my taste buds sing madrigals. - Beef & Pickled Pepper (泡椒牛肉): A stir-fry I rarely see and never believed I'd find in suburban NJ of all places. The sliced beef was perfectly cooked and accompanied by some of my favorite spicy pickled peppers and fresh peppercorn in an umami medley of spice that made us want to lick the plate. I kinda did... - Stir-Fried Spicy Cabbage (手撕包菜): A classic but a goodie. Nothing much to say but that it hit all the crunchy, garlicky notes we wanted. - Coconut Sesame Balls (椰蓉麻球): A spontaneous pick for something sweet. This was a nice twist on the classic black sesame-filled balls you usually see. Instead of that ebony paste, we bit into gobs of milky cream--and I was not mad about that. In conc, if you ever have a reason to be in...*checks notes*...Summit, NJ and need food with REAL flavor, definitely come to this elegantly modern spot that would fit right in in Beijing's trendiest neighborhood. I said what I said.

We usually have to venture all the way to Flushing to get our fix, but not anymore. We ordered one of our favorite dishes, fish fillet soup with pickled cabbage, and it was incredible. The broth was tasty and rich, the fish was tender, and the soup was loaded with noodles and veggies. We were so pleasantly surprised that they nailed one of our favorite dishes! We also decided to try the beef and pickled cabbage. The beef was so tender and flavorful. The dish also had a good beef/veggie ratio. The ambiance is also very nice and upscale. This was one of our first restaurant stops with our new baby, and we were seated in a nice, quiet corner. Our server was incredibly polite and even offered to help us when the baby started getting fussy. Overall this was a great experience.
