The crab rangoons I thought were too cream cheese like. It needed more crab in it. The side of lo mein I got I was disappointed with. Lucky panda has great food. Wonderful take out or dine in. The staff is friendly but do not speak good English. The menu is very good. We had lunch one day the Hunan shrimp was excellent. For one dinner we had takeout. The shrimp filled egg rolls are awesome, so is the pork fried rice. Great prices, dinner under $20.. Great values! read more

Good Chinese joint, right next to Krogers Supermarket. I have eaten here like a dozen times. They are fast and reliable. My favorites are: Sesame chicken, fried won tons, egg drop soup, and teriyake beefsticks. People I have eaten with have also vouched for: Sweet & Sour chicken, and the teriyake chicken sticks. I ordered delivery through Door Dash, The item prices on the door dash menu are higher than if you picked up your order, one item on the menu for $6.25 shows as $12 on the door dash menu, but I was not able to order it. I received my order about 40 minutes after ordering, I live about a 10 minute drive away, but there could have been traffic on 501. The food was good, we got steamed dumplings, sesame beef and shrimp lo mein. the portions were great, could have fed 3-4 people. the food was not cold when delivered, just the right temp. read more

We ordered from Door Dash. Our order came to 97.00 with tip. My son's Szechuan Chicken contained a rusty staple which cut his tongue. Needless to say, that ruined everyone's dinner! My advice is to steer clear of this restaurant and order elsewhere. read more

Very good Chinese takeout. The food was very good and the price was a little les than what others charge. The hubby and I went to Myrtle Beach for a few days and after a few days of eating at pretty expensive restaurants, we decided to get take-out and bring it to our hotel. We felt like Chinese and literally chose the first place we saw which we knew could be hit or miss, but this place was a complete hit! I ordered their bean curd with szechuan sauce and vegetables. Where to start , maybe they advertise that they deliver when they don't. They use a third party " Door Dash" which they say you have to get the app. Why should someone have to get an app for delivery when they advertise that they deliver. Decided to pick the food up myself . The order was called in by my wife who gave them her name cause she said she would pick it up originally. I went into the business and advised I was there to pick up the order , giving my wife's name. The gentleman at the counter was clueless . I had to give the order in order to get the food. Went home the pork fried rice was overcooked and had hardly any pork in it. I ordered shrimp and broccoli . My daughter ordered chicken and broccoli. They put some type of brown beef gravy ( not teriyaki sauce) on both the shrimp and chicken. The shrimp were not deveined and not that great. The egg rolls looked like they've been deep fried multiple times or cooked in old grease ( didn't want to chance trying that). For quick takeout on the way home, this place is great. The menu is exactly what you would expect from a typical Chinese place. I will say that the noodles, soups and chicken seem to be somewhat fresher than normal. The service is quick and the staff is friendly. I would recommend it for takeout at any time but probably not for a night out. read more

The woman was so nasty for some reason I had second thoughts to continue with the order but before I could she said is that it and hung up no price no time no goodbye nothing. Mind you we have ordered here before nothing special here at all its a regular dirty Chinese place with no restroom kind of place. She calls back 20 or 30 min later you still want food I told he NO you hung up on me and you were nasty to me. She said you sick you sick person. I said ill never order from you again. I am not one to usually write a review but I was so impressed I had to. I'm not an avid Chinese food fan, but every now & then I will get a random craving for good quality Chinese. I finally decided to try panda Chinese, & I am glad I did. Their orange chicken was amazing; it was savory & sweet but with a slight kick/a little heat to the aftertaste. You can see the flecks of chili pepper in the sauce, as well as plenty of orange rind which I particularly liked because most places you can barely taste any orange let alone see any. The sauce itself was delicious, and it tasted just as good if not better the next day! I was slightly disappointed that it was white rice and not fried rice, but it didn't even matter because when you reheat the orange chicken sauce with the white rice it's the perfect combination. I also tried the crab wontons & they were delicious as well with plenty of filling unlike most Chinese restaurants where it's 95% wonton wrap and 5% filling. I cannot rave enough about this place, I will definitely order again! I ordered through Uber eats and Steve was quick with his delivery & very friendly. 5/5 star rating read more

Called in a Friday night for a to go order. Three different menu items. Was told it would only be 20 minutes. I arrived at 30 minutes anticipating the busy night. People around me have been waiting for an hour. Do NOT call in on a Friday and expect anything less than an hour wait. Food was okay, nothing great. Much rather go across the street to King Kong and just get some sushi. Completely over-charging for mediocre Chinese. They just seemed overwhelmed, and therefore the product takes the hit. After placing an order and sitting there waiting, my wife and I observed a customer attempt to return his food and get his money back. The owner, a mean miserable woman, instantly started yelling at the customer, calling him homeless (I assure you he wasn't). She refused to refund his money. Her son who was also working there refunded the man his money which sent the woman into a bigger tirade. Screaming at the rest of the customers in the store that we ALL take advantage of her and that she won't tolerate customers like that. Another couple waiting along side me told the owner that she shouldn't berate other customers in front of us, to which she replied "you don't like it too bad. I give you your money back". So she refunded them their money. Then another customer, who mentioned he has been coming there for 15 years tried to talk to the owner and she insulted him, saying he could take his business elsewhere. So he also asked for a refund. Then she looked at me with disgust and said " come here, I give you your money back too. Get out". Needless to say I will NEVER return to this establishment. read more

I am the person who went to return the happy family meal that is mentioned in the review written by Jim N.on 3/20/2019. The reason I requested my money back was the pork (or whatever it was ) was not edible. Not just one or two pieces but all of the pork which consisted of a large portion of the meal. I placed this meat? back into the container so the owner can see for herself. Without even looking to see the problem,the owner went into a rage and accused me of being homeless and wanting to eat some food and then get my money back. I have lived in this area for many years. I will never go back there. I will travel to the other nearby Chinese restaurants which serve much better food and treat their customers with respect. I expect that Panda will be out of business soon enough. I hope that the women that I dealt with gets some mental help. Disappointing. We've ordered a couple of times before and were not totally happy, but our entire meal tonight was marginal at best. Big blocks of tofu, chicken stir fry passed off as Kung Pao chicken, greasy (excessively so) fried dumplings and won tons - 85% into the trash. First and LAST time. We had a large order to go. We ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken for one entree, but only received the sweet and sour sauce, NO CHICKEN. When I called Panda to tell them,they said we never ordered it. I remember ordering it and I have the sauce. BTW, they never gave us a receipt, so I could not go in and show it. We have gone here 3 times over the last year. I am a huge fan of Steamed Dumplings , but this one is not so great. The sauce for the dumplings is too sweet and has a funny taste. I am used to more of a soy sauce and ginger mix. The food is ok , I have had better and unfortunately I have had worse. Not bad for a chinese craving quick fix. read more

I have written this review everywhere I can find because this Chinese Restaurant needs to be shown the door out of our beautiful community of Carolina Forest: I have been ordering here since 2009. I never had a problem, although I have heard of others who have. While the food quality has gone down a bit, I would still order from there, basically because there is no where else close by. However, after today, I will NEVER order from them again. They forgot an item in my order and I called them when I got home. The woman who answered immediately got patronizing and condescending. Immediately. I was not expecting that. So we hung up and I called back and said the way you treating your customers is wrong and I will never order from here again, she said exactly this "I don't care, we are Panda, we are a franchise and we own all most of the Chinese restaurant around here and I will still get paid no matter what you do". I was stunned. I told her to remember, she was in Carolina Forest , a very classy place to live and with very classy people and there is no reason to treat customers this way. We all have plenty of money around here and there is no reason why we would falsify not receiving an item. I heard her other coworkers laughing in the background and yelling. The disrespect, arrogance and hatefulness that they displayed was a slap in the face to me today. I can't believe that just happened. Upon reading many reviews of this place, it seems that I am not the only one. We should not tolerate a business like that in this great community. This community is the best I have ever lived in and everyone treats everyone with respect here. To have a business here like this that treats the community this way is really troubling. I will never order from there again and they are wrong when they say they own ever Chinese Restaurant in town. There is one right down 501 by the beach that is not a Panda franchise and many more here that are not owned by Panda. read more

Disgusting... I don't normally use yelp, but this was a review I just had to write. Walking in, I was greeted by this boy who must've been 10 years old, I was shocked that they would have him working in the front. He did an okay job needless to say. But I don't think it's very professional, also when they have a little girl skating around the store disturbing the customers as well. We had gotten the potstickers as an appetizer, which tasted of gooey mush, and dry, rancid pork. Let's not forget the sauce, it was basically very watered down barbecue sauce. And to top off this god awful dish, I found a black piece of hair matted onto the second potsticker I pulled out. Repulsive. I was impressed with their lo mein, so I'll give them credit where it's deserved. But as for their house fried rice, every meat was prepared incorrectly; dry chicken, rubbery pork, the shrimp "vein" wasn't properly cleaned out (yes there was still excrement in the shrimp), the rice was undercooked... basically everything that could've gone wrong with this dish did. Needless to say, we will not be returning. I completely understand that it's a busy Friday night, but that shouldn't change the quality of your food. If you're serious about your food and restaurant, and want to make your customers happy, you'd actually take the time to make sure the food is edible. read more
