We were very appreciative of the food we ordered here. Arrived late on our flight and still had a very long drive home. Needed something close, quick and open late. Service time was fine- didn't feel like I waited too long. It appeared as if we were coming in after a rush- a line ahead but no one else after us. Some of the tables were messy from just having been used, but an employee was actively working through the dining room and we had no problem finding a clean table to eat. The employee was even going as far to wipe the chair seats AND chair legs- very thorough. The floor was clean. The curious bit was that a lot of the food serving trays were empty- I'm used to them being full at other Pandas. I asked if they still had any left of some different dishes and they explained they were in the middle of refilling everything fresh (presumably after a little rush?) and would first prioritize whatever we wanted to order. So in 4 minutes all our food was literally cooked to order- our meals were as fresh as humanly possible and tasted great! In fact, my kids said it was the best tasting Panda dinner they've ever had and I'm inclined to agree. Don't know if the photo does it justice but the portions were great too. The employees were all friendly. I noticed some negative reviews- I can't speak to those as this is our first time here, but I can say our experience was exemplary and I would have no issue returning! In fact, when we come to the airport in the future, this will be our place to stop to eat. They were on it tonight and did a great job! I travel a lot and Panda Express is kind of a guilty pleasure of mine! Usually you get consistent food, served quickly, at a reasonable price. I noticed this place had a TWO STAR rating but didn't think much of it. Figured it was fast food, and people just don't leave reviews unless they want to complain! Then o walked in! This place DESPERATELY needs NEW MANAGEMENT. It was 7pm on Monday and they were not busy. I counted 7 workers behind the kitchen but they lacked direction. I stood at the counter for a few minutes before someone finally greeted me. Ordered a plate with two dishes and a side. Wanted to try the hot spicy orange chicken and ordered that. They asked me what I wanted for my 2nd choice and struggled. The bowls with the various options were mostly EMPTY! One person was ahead of me and he had asked for egg rolls before seeing them. When he saw them and noticed they were WAY OVER COOKED and told the lady he didn't want them because they looked old and stale. Instead of apologizing and offering to cook a fresh batch she just returned them to the bin!!! Even with low expectations for a fast food chain this is a place best AVOIDED! read more

Up until now we have enjoyed eating at Panda Express in Airway Heights, WA. Our most recent meal there was a disaster on many fronts. Things were so bad, we wondered if there is new management or ownership. I purchased a three entre meal and my wife ordered a two entre meal; five total dishes. Of these five entre we found three did not taste good. Along with that, the brown rice tasted bad. Normally we like lots of the rice so we can take some home to cook with my morning eggs, but the rice this day was so bad we did not finish our meal at PE and tossed what rice was left (quite a bit). The two "fortune cookies" were changed from the past ones. These tasted bad, very bad. The music was so loud the server could not hear me and I could not hear her. The male server spilt some food onto the heating table. He picked up the food with his fingers and put the food back into the serving bowl. The men's restroom was bad in that there is a need to handle surfaces other men have needed to touch. How can such a great place have this many problems all at one time. Terrible service, and bad management. On top of a 5+ minute wait time at the order station they make you sit out front for more than 25 minutes for your order, just to forget about you. Teriyaki chicken the last three times we have ordered it and brought it home to eat, 20 mi away. The chicken is very fatty and the rice needs a little more cooking. In the past it's been well worth the drive. But prices have gone up and it's very difficult to go back when the quality has gone down. It is a good fast food type Chinese food place, but keep in mind fast food isn't quality its speed and quantity. My order often comes wrong as well as i often times have to go back because they forgot things or even given me half of what i am supposed to receive. I have opened my box to all 3 of my sides on top of each other or them not giving me a full side of noodles or rice. Ordered 7 plates thought it would be quick and easy. They argued with my husband upon pickup, never sent me a confirmation. I screen shot my thank you screen sent that to him. They continued to argue. 20 min later finally getting the food. I live nearby so I go to unload the food, they screwed up two plates, I called and was told they would give me my rice as I got a plate with two meats and that was all that was in the plate. I get over there was treated like crap. When asked for my receipt I asked for them to check their trash. Never gave one checked both bags. I pulled up the order number with details. Some rude chick named Jessica said oh she screen spotted her order. No I had the order pulled with the thank you info. Then some younger chick comes over and looks me up and down. No complaints about this Panda. Its actually a lot better than the ones I live around and now my standards for my local ones have been slightly raised. This Panda served me the biggest portions of any Panda anywhere. This is also the first Panda I've seen with a drive-thru. If I didn't stay during sub-zero temps, this Panda would be walking distance from my hotel (and a couple others) as it shares their parking lot. The customer service is first off horrible, I would say 90percent of the time I half to double check my order because they will forget items. Then say oh sorry we didn't charge you for it. So if this happens consistently and I explain to them that they need to step up their game. They use to be pretty good now they can't even due their job correctly and they want higher wages. So if they are continuing to not only mess my order up how many other people had their order wrong.you have one job to due take a order, someone else generally will fill the order , and then you charge the customer. Seems like a pretty easy concept. It's not like they are in a actual trade that requires skill or have the responsibility of doing a job correct due to saftey issues. Dear lord don't ever order Uber from this restaurant! They botched our order all over the place! They dumped our two entrees all over each other in the container, and they were stale and old! And we specifically requested sweet n sour for the egg rolls, teriyaki for the teriyaki chicken, and didn't get it... the chow mein was dry and old, the fried rice had extra white rice just stirred in to stretch it, and no silverware, soy sauce, etc.. just overall a terrible experience! I am generally not a big fan of Americanized Chinese food, but I do enjoy stopping in at this restaurant when I am heading back home from Spokane. The menu items now include healthier options and, in general, the food is fairly flavorful and not as salty as most fast food places. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful and there is usually plenty of seating available for the customers. The introduction of a plate with more dividers also makes it a lot more fun to choose your meal options. Plus, with three different foods on your plate it makes you feel like you're getting more for your money. I do wish they had more variety, but it's a take out place so I am not expecting a huge selection. read more

For fast Americanized Chinese food, this is a good place. The restaurant is very nice, and you get to see the cooks making the food. It has a real nice atmosphere, and the food is good. I have stopped in a couple of times... my one wish would be that they had hotter dishes. Unlike some Americanized Chinese restaurants, there is not real way to increase the spiciness of the meal. read more
