The second time I went on a weekend at 7pm the wait was long, the staff were inconsistent ( filing online orders before in person) and the food was okay. But I will say I appreciate the adherence to protective measures, 2 customers walked in without masks and staff asked them to return with masks. And I'll cut them slack because they're fairly new and I'm hoping working out the kinks. :) read more

Like other businesses in the area, their staff is sometimes spread thin. People need to be patient. They always get food out within a few minutes when it's not available when you come in. The fried rice is flavorless so you're better off getting a box at Costco, so much tastier. Chow mein? Forget about it. I ordered 3 orders of Chicken egg rolls we received 3 chicken egg rolls instead of 6 chicken egg rolls. We did not receive any sweet and sour sauce for the egg rolls as well as no soy sauce. I choose the smallest size but never images that it meant a kid size *see pic. I paid $4.90 per item, these item were about the size of a gerber baby container 2-4 oz. . What is hard about scooping rice and entree s into a container? When I worked fast food 40 years ago, we hustled when the lines got long. But at lunch last week, I stood in a 15 minute line (just 3 parties ahead of me) only to find it would be another 15 minute wait to get Kung Pao. Me and my brother ordered teriyaki chicken for pick up when we got home it was just grilled chicken with no teriyaki?? Pretty bland start and then to top it off my brother who is highly gluten intolerant orders a second item that is not breaded and what he got was a small amount of what he ordered and a bunch of random pieces of breaded orange chicken mixed in. He ended up eating a piece by mistake and ruined the rest of his day because somebody was lazy and careless/sloppy. Overall a bad experience. Went there a little under a hour before they closed to a line of 4-5 people They only had one person working the food and the rest were sitting in the back packing their dinners for before they leave and when it came to me ordering there was only one portion of orange chicken left (disappointing enough) and one of the unintelligent coworkers asks her for the last of the orange chicken for her dinner( right in front of me) and when I asked if there was gonna be anymore of anything she said there wasn't gonna be anymore and when confronted and asked WHY she served her coworkers instead of the customers in front of me she just stood there scared and useless.please fire everyone and just hire a whole new crew I'm clearly not the only one who has problems with your bad customer service read more

Every time we order in or pickup via mobile app our order is wrong. Not to mention somehow our plate just gets skipped over when they're adding the entrees. The last time I ordered inside about three of us were just staring at our boxes just sitting there because the girl who's second in the assembly line thought they were waiting on food instead of checking them and putting in the food not to mention that same person mixed up our orders and didn't know who had what because all orders were just sitting there. I came to this Panda Express from out of town thinking "how could a Panda Express get one star?" I quickly found out. I waited in line for 25 minutes to receive my food. The kitchen staff looked to be filled with high schoolers so I could sort of understand the disorganization. What I can't understand is how no one noticed plastic being cooked into the chowmein noodles seriously a chocking hazard. Came in with my son to grab some dinner. Had to wait for the food to be cooked. Then was given the wrong bad. Yes I should have looked to confirm but it wasn't even busy in there so I didn't think I had to double check. Got home and they had given me the wrong order. No food for my son and everything wrong. I had to drive back from Santa margarita (wasted more on gas then the food was even worth) and then the bag that was mine was early was sitting there. So it's been atleast an hour since this bag has been sitting there. I didn't go in rude or hostile but did say I had to drive back 15 mins to get the food and they just gave me the cold food. Didn't even try to apologize or anything. Plus, when I walked in, everyone just kepted walking by my at the register looking around at each other to see who would go talk to me. I had the second worst experience ever eating at Panda Saturday July 11th in Atascadero, California. There was hardly any entrees prepared and only one worker behind the counter, the rest of the staff were hanging out in the kitchen on their phones, I wanted a plate with chowmein, and a double order of Beijing beef. The Beijing beef was not prepared and I was told it would take 6 minutes, I said that's fine I am hungry so go ahead give me a plate with chowmein and a double order of orange chicken now, and a medium side order of Beijing beef when it's ready and a medium drink. The server prepared the plate then put it to the side and told me, she would ring up my order, she rang up my order , asked if I wanted to round up and donate my change, which I did and then handed me my receipt and walked away. The order was completely wrong and I had no food. She charged me for a bigger plate and no drink, I stood there trying to politely get her or anyone's attention for almost five minutes before she came back and with a tone asked if I needed something, I tried to be polite and said this receipt is not correct, I wanted a plate to eat now and a medium side order when it's ready along with my drink, she went over to where my food was put in a bag and puts it on the counter and starts to walk away again, I still trying to be polite say excuse me I need my drink, she comes back over and asks well did I charge you for one to which I said I don't know what you charged me for this isn't what I ordered, so she asks what size drink I want and I say it doesn't matter and point to the medium cup, she picks up the cup and says that will be $2.18. I paid and went to eat my food, but there was no utensils, no sauces, nothing. I flag her down again to ask for utensils at this point I don't know whom is more annoyed her or I, but I am at the point where I want to just walk out but still hungry. I sit to eat my meal and it is the most bland unflavored orange chicken I have ever eaten. A few minutes later she comes to the table I am eating at and slams down this tiny to go box which I can only assume is a kid's portion of an entree, definitely not the side order size I had requested. At this point I am done I refilled my drink disposed of my trash and walked out. I later went to leave feedback online only to have to scroll through 15 ads and never found the feedback survey, I tried calling only to get a recording that the phone survey had been disabled. This is all unacceptable and I will not use that location again read more

The food was exactly what I expect from Panda, although the current selection is not as large as pre-covid. I understand changes have had to be made and with that said my reason for 1 star is neither food nor customer service related. I was in on 9/29/20 at 8:14 PM. As I was leaving, the person I assume to be the manager, began yelling loudly at one of the employees in front of customers. As a store manager myself, you never yell at or belittle your employees, period. I will never return to this location. read more
