Dragon Palace is a buffet style restaurant that offers a large selection of appetizers, entrées, soups & salads, and more to choose from. There is a wide variety of offerings for all tastes, from adults to children. One can either dine-in or purchase their choice(s) to-go, which is sold by weight rather than at their All-You-Can-Eat pricing. Another option is to order a single menu selection instead of opting for the full buffet. The dining area is spacious, with table and booth seating available. It is very clean, and the service prompt. There is a separate room for large groups or parties. We particularly like their rich and thick Hot and Sour soup as well as their poached salmon, mussels, and multiple chicken entrées.

We had a early dinner there. The service was great. Food was good, love the large shrimp. All you can eat, can't beat it.

Very mediocre food, not worth the price honestly. At least drinks were included in price .

I can clearly say that in Paso Robles the Dragon Palace is the place to go for Chinese food.

I suppose that's the secret to longevity, and no doubt, Gordon Ramsay would be pleased - small menu means quick kitchen and fresh food -- not frozen. My buddy and I treated ourselves to all pork dishes: * Pork dumplings (soft, in an amazing sauce, and unreal ground and flavorful pork inside) * Double-pork (thinly sliced pork-chop, pan-fried noodle, veggies -- loved...loved...loved) * Pork Chow Mein (basically the same as double-pork, but steamed noodle, and not as good pork) Great prices, fast service, loved it.

I sat downstairs in one of the booths and had the cold bean thread salad. It was so yummy. I also enjoyed a $4 805 beer. So glad Mee Heng Low is here in SLO, next door to my favorite movie theater (the Palm), and serving delicious food and beer at reasonable prices.

This is the weirdest Chinese buffet I've ever been to. It looked so nice when you walked in, with…read morethe fountain with the koi fish in it. It was $23 per person with a 2 hour limit. We were walked to our booth and asked what we wanted to drink. We asked for a coke and Diet Coke. We were brought a coke and a sprite. 10 minutes later he took the sprite back and switched it out with the correct drink I asked. I was surprised that they used styrofoam plates...making so much waste. The buffet was...odd. Random Chinese food with American food and taquitos. The food didn't have proper name plates for them so it was kind of a guessing game, and the ones that did weren't even labeled correctly. The food was okay. Not the best Chinese food I've had. They were all cold by the time I went back to my booth. They had steamed bao buns with NOTHING in it. It was just the bun. The only good thing there was the sesame balls. The sushi bar seemed sketch, so I didn't get the sashimi. They had a kid probably 10 years old, working at the sushi bar, playing on his iPad. Is that even legal? It was just so random and all over the place. Random stars on the walls and in the bathroom. I won't come back and I won't recommend this place to anyone. I should have read the reviews before I came here. Not worth $23.
