I ordered a bowl with chow mein and orange chicken and then a medium side of chow mein. It was 10:50am and there was no line for the drive thru so I assumed it would be fresh and quick. I pulled up to the window to pay and I watched the lady scoop my bowl. She then asked me to pull forward to wait. A whole 10-15 minutes goes buy so I circle back around and she says they're waiting on the chowmein. I finally get my food and when I open it, my bowl was just the old bottom of the bowl vegetables that were also now cold. The side I got of chowmein was for someone else so I waited 15 minutes just to have cold gross veggies. I'm so irritated and hate that panda is always a hit or miss or I have to go inside to order and babysit. My kids wanted rice and we were in the area, so stopped here since they have a drive through. I was blown away with how fresh the food was! Everything was hot and fresh you could tell. We came at 1 pm on a Tuesday afternoon even. The orange chicken was crispy and saucy. The veggie spring rolls were crispy. The steamed rice and fried rice was hot and moist, so the rice was sticky. Ordered online. It was late to be ready. When my husband returned home, not lol items were in the order. When we called to let them know, they couldn't understand English. They finally put someone else on the phone and she argued with me about what I ordered. I told her I have my receipt in front of me and she finally agreed they screwed up. We like Panda. This is our first ever visit in this location though. I pulled in the drive thru at 9:40 PM. Yelp says they are open till 10 PM. Not sure if it's correct. And what I remember it being when it opened the first location in Henderson. Spot on. The flavors and portions and size. BITE size chicken not huge nasty pieces. The restaurant was clean. But recently they've decided to now charge for every little thing that they can only give you two packets of soy sauce which doesn't even cover a quarter of what you get! Ridiculous!! The food is usually pretty good every time I go although they run out of most menu items well before close and do not offer to make it. I'm writing this review because there's a female who works there who always talks over her coworkers and it is quite rude. For example, they will begin to greet you over the speaker in drive-thru but she just interrupts them. I have called her out on it and she just denies it. We stopped here for lunch on our way back to Las Vegas from the Hoover Dam. It was right off the highway and very easy to find. The staff was pleasant and greeted us as soon as we walked in. I've been to so many different Panda Express locations but this location is by far the worst. I ordered my food thru the drive-in so I couldn't see how fresh the food was (or in my case lack of freshness). The teriyaki chicken was dry. The honey walnut shrimp is so moist the crust is peeling off the shrimp, and finally the super greens is so wet the broccoli and kale crumbles and not crunchy. On top of it they gave me very small portion compared to the other locations anywhere! Such a disappointment because I love Panda Express food. DO NOT EAT HERE..I would mark this place with no stars but there isn't that option. What I just witnessed was one of the most disgusting things. One of the guys that worked there was standing on the counter spraying some sort of chemical over the good they were cooking. I ordered my food through the drive thru. The honey walnut shrimp I ordered need to be cooked or prepared or just wasn't ready. They had us go wait in a parking spot while they got it ready and they were going to bring it out to us.
