We had a great experience here. Initially I wasn't impressed because the food looked dry and some things were over cooked or looked like it had been there for quite sometime. This was our serving going through the drive through at this location and this isn't the first time we have been served half servings (if that). I got a grand total of 3 pieces of the sweet fire chicken breast with my grilled terriyaki chicken and super greens. First- the drive thru was crazy long, so we were going to just go in- nope the lobby was closed. We go ahead and get in line and then we sit in the drive thru line for like 15 minutes. We finally get to order only to be told they were out of some of their entrees. This Panda Express is new and clean but the service is terrible! Today I had to wait in the parking lot for several minutes for my order and when I got home I realized they did not include the sauce for the spring rolls or the teriyaki chicken. When I called to complain they asked me if I requested the sauces so, I guess it was my fault....I asked got teriyaki chicken! With the sauce! Of course! I don't think they have a manager because they were struggling with orders and no body was directing them. Also, the portions are terrible. I mean it's Panda Express and I wouldn't usually leave a review on a chain, but this is the first drive through panda I've been to, and I think for the most part the drive through is handy to a lot of people, but they need to be smarter about it because a customer wouldn't know if their order is wrong immediately. For example, I noticed I got the wrong entree when I got home with my food. I had ordered the sweet chili chicken and it said so on their order summary card, but I received the orange chicken. In this case, that's ok because it's both fried chicken and I wasn't super upset, but if I had not ordered fried chicken or chicken at all and received the fried orange chicken, I would've been unhappy. I thought the portion size in the bowl was normal though so I wouldn't complain about that. Just fair warning. read more

Yesterday, I ordered food for my family from Panda Express, in Castle Rock. While the food tasted okay, literally my entire family, came down with food poisoning overnight. I doubt that Douglas County has a health Department, but if the do, they should inspect this place. I will never go back. read more

Chevettier was AMAZING! My family of seven (5 children, 2 adults) went through the drive through for lunch today. We had some coupons from the kids school and the girls in the drive thru were less than helpful trying to help us sort them out. We went in where Chevettier greeted us with a smile and was extremely helpful. He was fast, efficient and very helpful when I asked him to mark some of the kids meals so I could easily tell them apart! Chevettier's customer service was A+.. by far the best customer service we've had in awhile! Panda Express give that man a raise as his customer service will take you far!! read more

I mean it's Chinese fast food... what do you really expect? Chinese food in Castle Rock is known for being bad so can't be any worse. I ordered the 2 entree meal with half fried rice/ half noodles and orange chicken. The food was decent and tasted fresh. The large soda is actually very large which was nice. I tried the chicken egg rolls and not a fan. Just tastes too much like Chinese 5 spice and dough. Also several orders of crab rangoon since each order is only 2 or 3 and my kid loves them usually. He didn't dig these ones and neither did I. Very greasy and almost burnt. I would go back if I wanted Chinese food but won't be my first choice of cuisine as I'm just burned out on mediocre Chinese food around here. read more

I downloaded the app for the 35c original orange chicken. Waited in line then get up to the counter showed the girl the promotion she then said to me that I needed to order my food on line Geez, I got out of line went to my car it was so upsetting. Panda Express is great overall, however the quality of the food at the Castle Rock location is not as good as the other locations nearby in Lone Tree and Parker. We live in Castle Rock and drive to Parker to get Panda. The lobby is always closed. It seems like the food is made far in advance so it doesn't taste as fresh as it should be. I would suggest getting a new manager and opening up the lobby. read more

Witnessed many health code violations during my visit with food prep and handling. Very unclean kitchen with cooks removing masks. Long wait for food, they ran out of everything. Staff had no urgency or ownership of the situation. Decided to leave after seeing them reuse containers from the front line preparing new food without washing it. read more

Food ok. My Beijing beef was a bit burnt. Portions have always been on smaller side quite below average. I don't know who was working tonight but I paid for 2 2item plates and was.surprised to see hardly anything in the plates. What the heck one of my entrees was mushroom chicken and i got 1 zucchini 3 mushrooms and 2 small pieces of chicken. Warning: Do NOT order the Bigger Plate w/ 3 entrees. They served my 3rd entree (beef & broc) into a tiny box which had 2 pieces of broccoli and 1/2 a piece of beef. Called the manager who said he was aware that the box doesn't provide a proper portion size...then why doesn't he stop allowing it 2b served like this? More than upset tonight. Just wanted some basic Chinese food (which coming to panda isn't asking for a lot). Got chow mein with probably about 4 noodles the rest veggies. Ordered it to go, was given no silverware (good thing i was going home afterward). I asked the lady at the window for some sweet and sour sauce and she walked away and shut the window. And to top this experience my food was very clearly thrown in the bag and was half spilled into the bag when i got it. Not to mention my food was luke warm if that. Won't be back to this location. Only the drive through has been open and they have yet to get my order right. If I order Teriyaki chicken it comes without teriyaki sauce even though I ask for it. If I order a large drink I get a medium. If I ask for chile sauce, well, I have yet to ever get it to date. Some of the employees seem rather annoyed when dealing with them. Waited in line sun afternoon, 5-6PM approximately 30-35 minutes from the front door to the counter, only 20-25 feet. They had 4 people working and line inside and the line outside (cars) also long. One person working the drive-thru, one cook, one at the counter inside taking orders and the cashier. Food all over the counter top, parts of food in another pot that shouldn't be there. The place if fairly new but been open long enough to serve people better that what they are doing. Doesn't take that long to order and receive your order at IHOP. read more

I realize this Panda is fairly new, only being open a few weeks at this point.....HOWEVER, i've been there a few times now and they couldn't be more stingy with the amount of food they are portioning out. I usually just get a bowl but at this location, you would definitely need a plate with two entree' choices if you want enough food to fill you up. I ordered a bowl with fried rice and orange chicken. There were literally FOUR pieces of orange chicken in my bowl.....4! Most Panda's i've been to, at least give you a decent amount of the entree' to fill you up. This location has consistently portioned out a very minimal amount of food. I can only assume they are being trained to only give a small amount out. I actually witnessed one employee taking food OUT of the person's bowl in front of me because she apparently scooped too much into the bowl. The bowls are 3/4 full at best! I sure hope this changes or we will be driving to another location for our Panda Express fix. read more
