Went in to get his dinner. Parking lot is private and attached but watch out for people not looking and peeling out of their spot. Someone nearly hit me head on. Patio dining available and dogs are welcome on the patio. Order taken efficiently and she was so nice because she remembered I was taking the sandwich home to my husband so she asked if I wanted the au jus sauce container wrapped so it didn't spill. The sandwich maker had just set the food on the counter after calling my name. That little touch of care earned them five stars. read more

This specific location is extremely inconsistent and their staff/servers can be quite rude when making your sandwich or taking your order. The person taking our order was friendly and helpful. The shop was clean. There is a lot of seating inside and feels cluttered. There is outdoor seating as well. We were shocked when for two medium sized sandwiches, 1 chip and 1 reg drink came to $32!! When the sandwiches came one was not as ordered (without lettuce and sprouts) and we brought it to their attention... the person that took our order apologized and said they would make a new sandwich.... However 5 min later he brought the same sandwich back out and said he took off as much as he could and handed it back. For $32 for two sandwiches I would have thought they would have remade it due to their error (and not knowing if there was an allergy). Editing to add that my experience here still never fails! The French dip has become my new fave. I've never had the Chicken Mambo Soup, and maybe it's temporary, but sweet Jesus I hope they have this forever. It's been a LONG three years since I had a Snarf's fix. There's not one in KC and the one in STL just isn't the same as the CO ones. So when I was in town, I had to hit it up. The store was clean with plenty of seating. The patio is large and would be great to eat at when the weather is nice. They also have clean gender neutral bathrooms. The gentleman that I ordered from had the perfect amount of snark and professionalism and I definitely had some laughs with him. I ordered a whole Cubano. The Cubano was a special sandwich for the month, I'd been jealously reading the emails that I get from them so I was so happy to see they had it. I didn't realize that a whole sandwich was that large. I easily made two meals with it. The Cubano was so tasty. I'd definitely get it again. It was probably the most well done sub sandwich type of a Cubano that I've had. I also got a giant pickle. It was fresh and had great crunch. Next time I'm in Colorado, I'll definitely return and recommend them to anyone. Until then, I'll just sadly wait for them to come East to KC. read more

We were excited to give this spot a try, so took the kids on a weeknight to shake things up and get outside. I really had my hopes up for a solid sandwich spot in CR, but if you've ever had Quiznos, you'll know what to expect. It's your standard toasted sandwich, not great but not bad, although I thought the turkey was better quality than other spots around (very thinly sliced which I like). Pretty disappointed with today's experience. Our crew placed a pickup order for subs, and I'm on a carnivore diet, so I specifically requested no bun and no tomatoes. Unfortunately, the order still came with tomatoes, and the portion size was extremely small--roughly a third of what would normally be in a "large" sandwich. For a $20 item, it felt more like an appetizer than a meal. On top of that, having to spend $100 or more just to place a pickup order is frustrating and unreasonable. I've been a patron of this chain in other cities and have never had issues like this before--this has only happened at the Castle Rock location. Meh, at best. I was a bit peckish and decided to try this place as I have driven by it many times but never stopped. To be honest, I had never heard anything about it, other than a vague "I think it is good" from my wife. Well today was the day and boy did it disappoint. The place is large and clean, with five or six people working behind the counter. I didn't give it much mind when I walked in and there were only a couple of people ahead of me, but after the fact it did seem a little odd, seeing it is noon on a warm but overcast Sunday. Perhaps it because others have been here before and found what i did. An okay, but EXTREMELY overpriced sandwich. I paid $13.76 for a 7" sub roll (the bread was fresh and crusty, so that was good) but I got so little meat and so much mustard to go with my WAY too much lettuce and onion that it was almost inedible. I have attached a picture to show just how little meat was on the sandwich. I probably should only give this place two stars but since I had driven away and then discovered this underwhelming sandwich, I can't say what management would have done, perhaps given me more meat. This does beg the question what I would have gotten if the hadn't ordered the vegetables, perhaps some meat? Probably not... This seems to be happening more and more around Castle Rock and Castle Pines - overprice and under perform. A good thing only rich people live in the area. read more

It is always busy and food is good. However, I was overcharged for my Vegetarian sandwich by $2.00. The older gentleman that took my order charged me extra for the avocado (even though the signage states that it includes avocado and sprouts)! Things were chaotic that day, but I would expect those taking orders would know what is included in the sandwiches they serve, and what is extra for upcharge. I also decided to get an order to go, and ordered a sandwich and a side of potato salad. When I got home, the potato salad was missing. All in all, I left $4.50 in the hole from that visit. My advice is to really pay attention to your To-go orders, and get your receipt (I did not get a receipt for the vegetarian sandwich). And ask for the manager if there is confusion when placing an order, like what I experienced. read more

Tabitha and Skyler did an amazing job taking care of my family today, their service alone will make me come back again and again. The music wasn't too loud or too soft, it was just right. There were a few people in front of us, as well as a big family of five and they were all taken care of efficiently and in a timely manner. Great service great food great ambience. Loved it!! Helpful staff recommending sandwiches. Really like the bread, it works well to enhance the sandwich and not take over the sandwich. They don't skimp on the toppings, meats, and cheese which I really appreciate. I got the Italian and my husband got the NY steak. The steak was tender and tasted high quality! Not chewy at all. The hot peppers add great flavor and heat. The kids grilled cheese was also a hit! Bonus, they played great music! The Police, Weezer, Artic Monkeys, Death Cab, etc. had a great lunch here. Ordering two sandwiches was a quick process but had to wait at least 15 minutes for them to be made. Only two orders were ahead of us so not like there was a big line. They had plenty of staff, 4 people, but only two actually seemed to be doing any work. Of the other two one was just working the register and the other one their phone. It took the staff over 45 minutes to complete an online order for 2 subs. I don't expect fast food fast but 45 minutes is an entire lunch hour when you order this online to not have to wait. I was told a catering order got pushed to top priority so it delayed a ton of pick up orders. I will not be back as the samdwhiches are some of the highest priced in town anyways. Salt has the best sandwiches. And yeah I run a group of about 9k locals and have posted this in there too. Please do better. read more

Would never go back. The sandwiches are exorbitantly priced. The meat has NO spice (not even salt) on it - completely bland. Barbecue sauce is exceedingly sweet and drowns the sandwich making it a huge mess. (If it had tasted good, it might be worth the mess.) Potato salad is weird. No pickles, onions, egg, or mustard. Instead it has radish in it, some sort of white sauce, and potato. The pickle is good, fresh & crunchy, but without vinegar. The bread was good. Crunchy crust and a soft inside. the food is pretty good, but it does get cold and soggy pretty fast if u dont eat it right away. the online orders and doordash, etc., are always a mess. the people are nice and i can tell they try their best. the food is so expensive though. way overcharged, but it is genuinely good quality. ny steak: they cook the meat when u order it! it comes raw and they cook it so its not sus. cheesesteak: it is actually so good, same as the ny steak the salads though... my friend told me that they saw a bug in their lettuce. the salad is aesthetic and though i've never had one, it looks good. i would also add, always put dressing on the side, if u want to put ranch on ur sandwich ALWAYS ON THE SIDE, it will immediately get soggy. always get specific with your orders, they dont care. it saves them from having to remake it. also always voice if its wrong, but make sure to interpret the situation, if theyre really busy or it looks like a teenager then i would wait in line and wait for them to ask their supervisor or manager. but always voice your concerns! its so aesthetic in there too, its so pretty. read more

We went very early after opening and had a terrible experience. Long wait over 45 mins for two sandwiches, and it was taking over 7-8 mins per sandwich for them to call names. More importantly though, my partner's food was cold when we received it (he got a hot sandwich) and had obviously been sitting. My food was supposed to be on a gluten free bread. I asked at the register, it was on my receipt, and I specifically asked the expo guy if this sandwich was gluten free and he assured me it was. It was not and I got incredibly ill after eating it because they gave me the wrong bread. But what's interesting, is my partner also didn't feel great after eating his, probably because his food was out so long. Not "gluten friendly" in the least. Do not go here if you want a hot sandwich to be hot. I have eaten at snarfs other locations for years in multiple states and never had such a terrible experience. We live 3 mins away and will never go back to spend $45 on two inedible sandwiches. Would rate 0 stars if I could. read more

Snarfs is awesome!! It seemed like it took forever to open here in Castle Rock but it was well worth the wait. I used to drive to the one up by DU from CR so I was pretty stoked when it opened. The sandwiches are great. They may be a little expensive but everything is these days. The Italian Supreme is probably my favorite right now. Wasn't a huge fan of the eggplant parm sand. It seemed a little bland. I still have a few sandwiches to try but have probably tried 3/4 of the menu so one sandwich that I didn't love is a pretty good batting average if you ask me. This place has to have the WORST service of any sandwich shop EVER. Not sure why it takes so long to make a sandwich. Sandwichs aren't made with consistency and the staff were slow and rude to customers. Who ever owns this place needs to get new management and hire better staff or it won't be around long.
