Bad customer service. I come here every week to get my Dad's favorite veggie rolls. I also order the cream cheese rangoons for my kids. Every time I request the two orders to be separated they get irritated. Today I specifically told her to separate the veggie rolls and Rangoons but she still combined it. This place was crazy! Line was literally out the door, the popular entrees and sides were emptying as fast as they were filled. But Jasmine, Gracie and Debbie handled the crowd AMAZINGLY! They greeted everyone with a smile, were friendly and very attentive, apologetic for the wait, all while keeping on top of things nearing being empty to keep up with the large orders everyone had. They ran like a well oiled machine, which is a RARITY in ANY fast food establishment! And with this trio, many of us didn't seem to mind the wait, in fact from what I saw, a lot of us left happy and they werE on a roll with getting donations. Yeah, normally don't do this but something needs to change here. I walked in behind 2 other customers and they hardly had anything. The guy that take your order says he "has to call it" which I don't know what that means but I assumed you have to summons the dish to be made! So of course everyone ordered the items that needed to be made so that's 8-10 minutes. My order took longer to make the cooks were talking in Spanish about where they were going out tonight! So that's more important. I saw 7 people waiting for Orange Chicken, Noodles, and Beef and Broccoli. But that took longer cause apparently cleaning the restaurant was more important then making sure the orders were getting served. Ambiance was dirty still at the end of the night. I've eaten here 7-8 times over the last year. It's a great concept. Inexpensive freshly made Chinese food available quickly. Unfortunately, the food ranges from poor to average, though it looks great. Tonight all the employees seemed new. I'm sure there must have been a few holdovers, but I couldn't spot them. The fried rice looks good, but it's terrible. Bland and tasteless. You'd think somebody with tastebuds might actually work there and occasionally sample the food, but apparently not. Tonight I noticed something new. The servers all seemed to be trying to portion out slightly smaller servings. That is most definitely not the ticket to increased profits. This location should shoot for more customers each day rather than shaving a few cents of the cost of each serving. Also, they do something at the register that infuriates me - they ask you to donate your change to a charity. They don't say a thing about what they will be donating, if anything. When this happens to you, if you decide to patronize this particular Panda, try asking them if they would like to donate $5 to you because you have had COVID, the flu, a broken arm, cancer, gout, etc. See the puzzled look come across the cashier's face. Perhaps you'll notice their realization that begging for their customers' change is tacky. A better choice for Chinese food is available on Birch Road on the other side of Eastgate next to Denny's. Much better food served to you by professional waiters for modest prices. That's where I'm going. Panda Express can be a guilty pleasure at times. I always get suckered for a bowl of chow Mein and orange chicken. I work in the area and visit this location frequently. I saw some reviews about the spices and disagree. Tastes the same as all Panda Express locations. The customer service is always on point. Location is consistently clean. My only suggestion is to possibly put a timer on how long the food has been out. Once in a while the orange chicken will taste hard like it's been sitting out just a tad bit too long. I have had plenty of great experiences at this Panda Express, but lately it is starting to really go down hill. Luis is part of the major issues I have noticed. Todays example, the guy behind me order a mushroom chicken, orange chicken and fried rice. I had 4 orders of mushroom chicken and 2 orange chicken with 3 of them chow mein. 1. Chow mein was out, so I am already waiting on restock. 2. Luis plates the guys orange chicken, then my mushroom chicken. Now mushroom chicken is out and orange chicken is out. Now the guy that was behind me is waiting on mushroom chicken, while I am still waiting on chow mein and orange chicken. Luis never thinks ahead and is always on his own program. To add to today, some younger newish guy asked if it was take out or dine in. My response is to go, after he rings it all up he then attempts to hand had me the kids meal. I told him it was to go again. Now that the chow mein and orange chicken are re made, he brings me a tray with the food on it. So for the 3rd time I told him it's to go. The women on staff here are very impolite and lazy. One of them sent me back to my vehicle because she would not help me at the door, behind a protective barrier from 6 ft away without a me having a mask on. Annoyed, I went to go get the mask from my vehicle and when I returned she was no longer at the doorway. I had to knock on the glass with my key to get the attention of a male who argued with the same female (out of view) over who would help me. Eventually the female made herself visible again and told me to go around the building and wait on the other side's entryway. Unbelievable. I waited there for 10 minutes (10 minutes after I received an email from Panda Express saying that my order was done) and then she came backed asked me what I was waiting for. What a dummy. I repeated my voice to her in a raised voice. She got the idea that I was unhappy with her but told me my order still wasn't done despite getting an email saying it was. Get it together Panda Express. Previous review: Ok but the staff here has a tendency to overuse red pepper in the food, particularly in the orange chicken. It is too spicy to eat. Dined in for a quick lunch break. Service was quick and friendly. Pricing is inexpensive and great if you are in a hurry. Food was hot and tasty! I was in and out in a jiffy. The only reason for he four stars is because I wasn't set up with any soy sauce or hot sauce and a fortune cookie which is with the cashier. When I asked about it they told me to reach over the cash register and grab it from the little box. Little did they know I have little T rex arms and and was struggling quite a bit. I can not believe no one else in the resturant didn't say a single thing about it. We spoke with the staff, they tasted it in front of us and agreed that it was nasty. They offered to remake the Orange Chicken and offered to give us 3 other entrees. They were very gracious and nice. After waiting it out with 3 hungry kids under 6; the OC came. Hmmm yeah still just like the last batch, just hotter. By this point we were all tired and just wanted to get home. This probably the worst managed Panda Express that I've been to. Usually they're pretty good, but there always seems to be something wrong at this one. One time the fried rice was sitting out in the warmer too long and it was dry and almost crunchy. Another time, all the fried items (egg rolls and cream cheese wontons) were really dark in color indicating either over frying or old oil. Every time I go there, the tables are dirty. There is no real excuse for these mistakes, because it was never busy at any of my visits. Well, that should be a clue for me to never dine here again.
