I really loved this place until today, I received a coupon for free crave fries. I wanted to add chicken to the fries and pay the difference, the cashier wouldn't allow me to do. She said I have to order the kebab fries, I expressed I didn't want that I just wanted to add chicken. Again she said I couldn't use my coupon if I ordered kebab fries. I told her that didn't make any sense I just want to add chicken; to which she responded "it makes sense to me." I looked at her and said I refuse to go in circles with you. I typically don't write reviews, if I'm unhappy with my service or product I won't return to the business anymore. But after my interaction with the cashier it warrants my review. She was beyond rude, when my order was ready she slid it to me in a condescending way. All I wanted to was to add chicken and pay the difference. The kebab shop is a solid meal. We always order the bowls and I feel it's pretty healthy. This is the closest to a salad that I would order. The bowls are often stacked to the top and when you order online, you could select a lot of options to put inside. Weoften order the meal which comes with two bowls and two side sides for a decent price. The order is always ready within 10 minutes when I place it. Inside is decent. It has tables, but we have only had takeout. Be sure though to check your takeout order though. They always forget the sauces and utensils. read more

All of our items were delicious and full of flavor, but the gyro in the rice bowl contained some small pieces of bone. I had to spit out the bones several times while eating. The portion size was smaller than I expected, but the flavor was fantastic! There were plenty of parking spaces available outside! read more

We have been here many times and never had a complaint but this evening was different. My wife order 3 wraps and a side of pita chips. A 5 minute drive home and the wraps were all cold. The paper bag containing the pita chips was almost empty with about 6 chips on the bottom of the bag. The chips were chewy, not even crispy but to charge for 6 small triangular chips is ridiculous. A completely unsatisfactory meal. If The Kabob Shop is going to charge these prices, they should prepare the food properly. The wraps were wrapped in foil so definitely should not have been cold after a 5 minute drive. They must have been sitting out before they were wrapped. And the side of pita chips? Come on, this is just ridiculous that you would charge for this. This was our last time to The Kabob Shop. Surrounded by a number of different dining options at the Otay Ranch mall, this Kebab Shop really stands out for it's excellent customer service and super fresh ingredients. Unlike some other Kebab Shops, Kevin makes all of his salads fresh every single day. Combine all of that with their succulent, piping-hot meats and their delicious sauces, and BOOM, flavor overload. The steak is good, but the carved chicken is definitely my favorite. I usually get the plate of carved chicken with just a plain wrap on the side. Such an amazing experience!! I have never been here before , I'm hesitant trying new places because I have a dairy allergy. Kevin helped me at the register. I explain my allergy and he told me exactly what I should and shouldn't order (this is extremely hard to find a restaurant where they know what contains dairy and what doesn't. I was very impressed.) I made a mistake on my order and thought I ordered a gyro, but I am so happy with what I got because I never would have ever ordered a gyro burrito, but it is probably one of the best things I've ever had! This was our first time visiting the Otay Ranch Mall Kebab Shop location. It is a very nicely designed location, it's interior is very cool. There is a lot of space here. Each of the seating areas are clean and well maintained. You immediately will notice a natural wood trellis beam in the dining area, super tasteful. The woman who took our order was very customer service oriented. We ordered: a chicken kebab wrap cut in half to share l, an order of fries to share, and 2 fountain drinks. When we went to get our order at the counter and they made an extra beef kebab bowl so they gave that to us as well; pretty cool! The food was prepared well here. I appreciated that they maintained their condiment station and fountain drink area well while we dined. I will certainly return. Update: one of the best eats in the Eastlake area. HIGHLY recommend this place. You can really tell The quality of the food. My go to is the chicken wrap with spicy hummus and jalepenos for a high protein post work out meal. Soooo good. Since it was my first time here the young man at the counter asked if I wanted a recommendation, which I took. I got a Chicken Tikka Wrap Cali style (with guac and fries). It was pretty bomb. The vegetables, chicken, and wrap hit the spot. Felt fresh and didn't leave a bomb in my gut like some burritos do. The sauces are self-serve. I tried all 4 since it was my first time (house, chutney, chipotle, and mango chili), my two favorite were the house and mango chili. Over all this place was a hit. This place prides itself on high quality food and great service, and well I don't think so, at least that's not my experience.. The first time I went everything was excellent, everything was served perfectly clean environment no complaints. I even recommended you guys to friends and family (who now love it too) of how much I really liked this place.. And I didn't care that it was pricey because it was worth every penny.. But these last two times I went everything has been a mess! I don't live close by to say ok well I'll just go back so they can fix it, I shouldn't even have to think of this from a place that guarantees excellence.. From the pictures provided below you can see that this is not worth what you pay at this place.. We were so into the movie we were watching that we didn't notice that our food wasn't right! Until after when my mom mentioned her burrito had no meat, and I told her you know what now that you mention it I don't see any chicken in mine.. So I took them both to the kitchen to open them up well, and to my surprise... *The first wrap had little to no meat and a bunch of everything else, basically she was eating a veggie burrito with fries! * And the second one was all veggies missing the fries and if you zoom in on the picture you can see the little tiny pieces of chicken I had in my whole burrito! * And if this wasn't upsetting enough they also gave me burnt pita chips! Super hard and super dry of how burnt they gave them to me! This is unbelievable and very upsetting, money down the drain!! The thing is the flavor is there, the food is really good, but the service is NOT.. I have only gone to the one in Otay Ranch in Chula Vista and the service is not great the employees need a good talking to! They do more talking than working. and take forever to give you your order! They leave your food on the counter for a good while before giving it to you it's just ridiculous!!! It's a bummer! Because I really did like this place, but if the service isn't always the same it's not worth it. At least this location isn't.. I will not be recommending anyone anymore until something changes. read more

We made sure to arrive with plenty of time so we could get our complimentary sauces prepared. Their OG tzatziki sauce and green sauce are the rockstars of the sauce station. Build a Bowl (Grade A) / making your own bowl is so easy on the app. Just click your selections. The entire meal sits on a thick bed of rice. They give you 4 falafels that are crispy without being greasy. The salad is fresh and then all the sauces just really compliment every bite. The green adds a nice spice, but the OG immediately cools it down. Throw in the hummus and you've got a meal big enough to share. Parking - shared parking lot in an outdoor mall. Oh, forgot to mention this is located on the outter perimeter of a really great mall. The staff is friendly and I feel welcome and always taken care of, especially with Alexis! She is always making my food quickly and correctly! She also is the BEST with customer service. Ordered some catering for a party of about 10 people. I placed an order online which made everything easy. I ordered the small catering pack, which included a small tray of grilled chicken, tray of rice, tray of salad, pita bread, & 4 sauces. Also ordered the small family pack with the beef kofta, which included a tray of rice with 4 pieces of kofta on top, tray of salad, some pita bread, & 4 sauces. Got all of this for about $220. Flavor was good. Just wished I had ordered a tray of protein instead of the family pack as it looked sad with just 4 pieces of beef on top of rice. Overall, I would order catering trays from here again in the future! read more
