I ordered the food online and I went to go pick it up when I got home to eat half of the honey walnut shrimp was burnt. Who packs the food and care.... no shame

Bowl with Noodles & String Bean Chicken

Prior to watching a movie, I had a quick bite at this Panda Express in the mall. I had the a bowl of stir fried noodles and string bean chicken. The noodles were good and had decent texture. They were seasoned well but were missing that smoky essence they normally pick up from a hot wok. The chicken was pretty good. It was tender and tasted good. The green beans were a mix bag. Some of the beans were cooked just right and others were over cooked, discolored, and to soft. The young ladies at the counter were nice.

The piss poor excuse for ragoons.

I ordered a plate @5:10pm it was picked up at 5:17pm order number 933161. I live right over on Madison and ballentyine. Less than 5 minutes away, By the time it got here it was cold. Not hot , not like warm, cold. The shrimp and the golden chicken. Cold. So I figured the ragoons would have to make up for the entree. Nope, cold and looked like they were poorly put together and then forgotten about. This isn't the first time this location has let me down. But it will be the last.

Waited 15 minutes for undercooked broccoli with 3 pieces of sauced up beef.

I walked up and placed my order for a 2 item. The girl working asked me what entrees I wanted. Since the broccoli beef was empty, I asked if they were going to make any more. I couldn't hear her response, so I told her I couldn't hear her. She didn't speak up the 3 times I let her know I couldn't hear her. When I finally could understand what she was saying ("it will take about 5 minutes to cook"), I said okay and paid, and waited. My receipt time showed 5:33pm. As I sat there for 5 minutes, I witnessed the server telling the cook that she needed broccoli beef. Another 5 minutes go by, and still not done. After waiting about 15 minutes, she starts filling my to-go plate with the entree, next to the cold chow mein and chicken I initially ordered from the beginning. When I got home, I was extremely disappointed. The broccoli beef entree was undercooked broccoli and 3 tiny pieces of beef with stabbed on oyster sauce. It was inedible. (Please see photo).

This place has gone from 4 to 0 for me. I used to love it but now it's really bad, didn't want to say anything since my daughter was hungry and getting upset(2y) but not coming back to this location

I can't say that I was very impressed, but what do you expect from a Panda Express inside the food court at the mall? I guess it would be acceptable to expect a typical PE experience, but I didn't set the bar too high, given the location. I will be back, as I am a big fan of Panda Express and will give them another shot. Next time I hope to see a good supply of fresh food and them not scraping the bottom of the bowl to fill my order. I ordered the Beijing Beef with mixed vegetables, which is usually what I get every time I go to any PE. Both tasted as though they had been sitting there for a while waiting for a poor sap like me to order them so they could finally fill them up with fresh food. Looking for a free refill on your beverage? Not going to happen at this location. They wanted to charge fifty-three cents for a refill on a medium soda. I am assuming this is due to all of the kids that hang out at the mall on a continuous basis and just order soda, but it shouldn't affect those that have ordered a meal.

Would you pay $11.00 for this food?

This is horrible! I feel like they don't even want to put anything on my plate. This isn't the first time they gave us a serving like this. This isn't deserving of the money you pay for this. It's an awful service!

There is really bad place. She never smile. She never understands us. There is no respect. Don't use any time.

My husband and I have driven past many times and always felt curious. So finally we made a stop on our way home. Let me just say, it did not disappoint! The workers were very friendly and patient with us while we decided on what to order. Once we finished ordering, they actually let you play a game of chance to see if your meal is free! Roll the dice and if you get double fives it's on them. I did not win but I thought that was fun! I cannot stress this enough, the food was amazing! It's definitely a MUST try! Just be warned; cause like I said before this is a food cart in the parking lot of a liquor store. Nothing wrong with it but there isn't a lot of sit down options or anything like that. So if you're looking for a place to stay a while and sit to enjoy your meal. This place might have to wait for another day!

The concept is definitely unique. Their menu includes burgers, wraps, shawarma wraps, and street corn, with the option to add Hot Cheetos or Doritos to several menu items. I ordered the: *Doritos Grilled Chicken Breast Wrap: it comes served over a bed of French fries tossed with Doritos seasoning. The fries were flavorful, fresh, and definitely the highlight of the meal. The wrap itself was good, but I was expecting a much stronger Doritos flavor. There wasn't much of that signature taste inside the wrap, so it felt like a missed opportunity considering the concept. You can also upgrade your order with street corn mixed with Hot Cheetos or Doritos for an additional $2.99. My total, including tip, came to a little over $18. While that's a bit on the pricey side, the wrap was massive and easily enough for two meals. My food was ready in less than 10 minutes, and everything tasted fresh. Overall, it's a fun and creative concept with generous portions. I just wish they'd lean into the theme a bit more by adding more of that bold Doritos flavor to the wrap itself.

Duke's Old Fashioned Onion Burgers has become a pretty popular spot in La Mesa. Every time I've…read moredriven by, there's always a steady stream of people coming in and out, so I figured it was finally time to see what the hype was about. They also rotate fun milkshake specials, and when I visited they had an Apple Pie Milkshake that sounded really good. I just wasn't in the mood for something sweet that day. I kept it simple and ordered the Single Onion Burger ($13.95) with mayo, ketchup, and lettuce, plus an order of the Original Fries ($5.75). The onion burger is made with fresh ground beef that's smashed with onions on the grill, and you can customize it with toppings like lettuce, tomato, pickles, jalapeños, cheese, mustard, and ketchup at no extra charge. Bacon is available for an additional charge. The restaurant itself was really clean, and I appreciated the self-serve condiment station stocked with ketchup, spicy ketchup, ranch, plenty of hot sauces, and to-go containers. The fries ended up being my favorite part of the meal. They're fresh cut and double fried, coming out piping hot with a crispy exterior and fluffy center. The portion was also super generous. They packed so many fries that they were spilling outside of the container into the bag. Paired with the ranch and spicy ketchup, they were honestly worth ordering on their own. The burger was a little more disappointing. The patty was overcooked, which made it pretty dry. You could even tell by the color that it had spent a little too much time on the grill. Since I usually keep my burgers pretty simple, there wasn't much to balance out the dryness, so I found myself dipping almost every bite into extra ketchup and ranch just to add some moisture. I can definitely see why Duke's is a neighborhood favorite, and I still like the concept behind their onion burgers. It just didn't completely satisfy the burger craving I walked in with. I'd come back for the fries without hesitation, and I'd be willing to give the burger another shot hoping I caught them on an off day.
