This place really needs some work. I stopped by after shopping at the mall and I was extremely disappointed. First of all, why is everyone in such a bad mood??? No one greets you as you walk in, dirty looks given when asking for samples and credit card being tossed back at you after paying. Unacceptable. We don't go here recently because the servings are very little now unlike before. They even count how may shrimp and beef to give you to think that those are with extra cost too. I've never had a complaint about Panda - food is good, employees are pretty good. But Danny was really something else! The picture of good customer service! As someone who works in customer service, I was blown away by the charisma he showed! Despite being busy, he greeted me with a huge smile and an abundance of energy, even complimented the shirt I was wearing! Just came here and first off, I work at the one in Santee. They gave extremely low portions. She was cutting us off the entire time we were ordering. She said my card was declined even though when I logged into my account and also called my bank at that second they said I had more than enough money available. She was being a bitch the entire time. She had absolutely no customer service skills and she did not know how to handle the situation, sadly she was the manager too. As a worker at another location this was very disappointing. I love the taste of Panda Express, even though it's not healthy with all the salt, carbs and sugar. It's surely tasty. What I dislike are the varying prices and asking for donation (this branch didn't). I usually get charged $7.00+ with tax for a combo plate without drink. I was charged $8.35 today. Also, some branches always asked about donating. If the corporation wants to donate to their chosen organization, they shouldn't bother their customers. read more

So I am writing on here because I just recently got fired from this Panda. The boss here is so unprofessional, her name is Namunna. She is a real b-word. I got fired because I couldn't work because my work permit expired and she still wanted me to work. It's not my fault, and its against the LAW. & She can get fired and fined $500. She got mad because I was in L.A. and couldn't come in, in the beginning she didn't even tell me to call to see what my schedule was. She was supposed to have it done a week early. Like WTF. She even lied and said that I can work without a permit because we were short on people. THATS NOT MY FAULT YOU ARE A BAD MANAGER. And its ridiculous because she had Maria do our schedules for us and she's not even the boss. I never knew what time or day to come in because shes just a mess. It really pissed me off. I always eat at panda express all over San Diego and have been to other cities as well and never had this problem. First the lady that put my food together had an attitude when I wanted to add a kids meal when she was almost done making my plate. Then I was using a receipt that I had done the servery on to get a free 3rd item and the lady ringing me up her name was Rudy she consulted with the other girl that did my food she is a fat Mexican, then Rudy told me that they would take my receipt this time but that that code I had was not one of there's .it started with the letter D and the codes that I always get from the survey are always a D or N. So I kinda argued with her because I don't like to be called a lier and told her that I would do the servery right after I got my receipt and let her hear that it starts with D and then she said well maybe it's just this location. Witch is wrong because I have been there many times with those receipts .then the total came to 2 dollars more than any other panda and she said that it was mall taxes ....lol really since when do taxes go up because of the location if anything the price will just go up because of the location the tax is by the city. And she's a damn lie because when comparing receipts before there tax was only 1 or 2 cents different. Rudy said that her manager told her they can can only take certain codes. .lol newsflash the survey is for all over the world everybody gets the same codes.
