They seem to have a hard time keeping ahead of their customers. They're always out of menu items. Quite often, at least 1 item that I order is "Being prepared", and "If I wouldn't mind having a seat", my order will be ready "in about 5 to 10 minutes." I understand, and I don't mind waiting - but, at this location, I have to "have a seat and wait" at least 3 out of every 5 visits!! .....It gets tiresome!! read more

However, I was not happy today to see one of the managers in the food prep area weighing out veggies with her bare hands, no gloves. Nowadays, gloves should be mandatory for food prep, there are just too many people that either don't wash their hands after using the bathroom or have some sort of illness that can be transferred. My family loves Panda the food is great, but this panda for the past I want to say 6 months if not longer has a sign on the bathroom door that says they are out of service.... I have gone 3 times in the past 6 months and the sign is still up. I have a 3 year old and a 7 year old.... I tend to pick and choose where we go to eat depending on how clean the bathrooms are because of the kids. Well the first time I had to run my 3 year old to the lows across the parking lot, the second time I had to run across the street to jack in the box. Yesterday!!!! There was an employee coming out of the bathroom and bumped into a costumer and held the door open for them! I was so angry because again I had to take my kids to lows in the middle of our meal! I went here with my Wife this past weekend and ordered a 2 item combo with Orange chicken and angus beef with all noodles. I have an allergy to Tree nuts and What i thought was orange cicken was a walnut in my noodles. Apparantly they store and serve the walnut shrimp in the back over the noodles, a common item that everyone gets.So a nut must of fell into the noodles from a previous order. Why risk cross contamination with very common allergen like seafood and tree nuts? I told the manager and she said well thats out of my control where the items are placed and a upper managment decision. What? Really? I was very surprised to hear that they cross contaminate their food and can't/wont do anything about it. She didnt even get my name or write anything down... I guess they dont care if someone gets really sick or worse from carelessness. She didnt even say sorry or wasnt at all concerned for my health. I know that most restaurants are having a hard time these days, and getting and keeping good help is difficult. But that doesn't mean I have to patronize places when their standards fall below what I consider decent food. I stopped by there last Friday to pick up dinner, and as usual in the drive-through, they suggested some cream cheese Rangoon's I love them, so I said OK. And then I mentioned to the guy that in the past year I have gotten home twice and they had forgotten my sweet-and-sour sauce. If you've ever had a cream cheese, Rangoon without sweet-and-sour sauce, it's a fail. He assured me that he would remember my sauce, and shame on me for not checking the bag, when I got home, sure enough, they had forgotten the sweet-and-sour again. Only this time the cream cheese Rangoon's were not cooked all the way, they were pale and soft, not light brown and crispy as they should be. So I called the manager, and she told me she was sorry twice, but did not offer to replace my failed Rangoons. I don't really want something for nothing, I'm not trying to get a free meal out of my complaint. I just want to be able to go to a place and get what I ordered and get it the way I want it, and get it cooked properly. I have also noticed, like many restaurants around that panda express has been lowering the quality of their ingredients. Many dishes, I notice the quality of their beef and chicken not up to standard, and instead of good vegetables, they have some with nothing but orange bell pepper in them and lots of it. Not only is it the cheapest veg by far, I don't like bell pepper, I may as well be allergic to it, and I have to pick it out. As a result of this recent experience, I will be spending a little more and buying my Chinese food at Pick Up Stix. You don't get many second chances out of me, especially when in my assessment between the lower quality ingredients and the incorrect orders, I prefer not to eat there again. Panda Express on the corner of Mission Avenue and Quince...nice location and plenty of parking. Food is always fresh and hot, and the balance of heat and sweet is pretty good. Had the Peppercorn Shrlmp...the shrimp were butterflied and were a pretty good size and the asparagus was tender, not over or under cooked in anyway. Drive thru service is acceptable; the entrance is a little unusual with the parking lot traffic pattern, but, the menu is bright and easy to read. The last time I ordered take out, they forgot to give me utensils...so, make sure you have sometime to eat with or else you might have to pretend that you're a canine and let your animal instinct come out, like my pet poodle, Maxwell! I was super disappointed when the Tulip location closed. We eat at Panda Express A LOT so now I have to go further to grab dinner. When I started going to this Mission location, I also started having more negatives to my experience. The staff at this location are less friendly than the Tulip staff. They are less accommodating to requests. As an example, they HAD a reward program with a stamp card and one of the offers is a free drink. When I asked if I could pay to upgrade it to a larger drink, the person said they couldn't do that. They had always done that at the Tulip store. When I asked someone on another occasion, that person did it, so inconsistent on what they can and cannot do. Also, every time I get an order from this location, SOMETHING is jacked with my order. One time it was the problem with the drink, another time they left out one of my fortune cookies... I mean, how do you share a fortune cookie??? This time, the server didn't put my sweet and sour sauce in the bag for my spring rolls and on other occasions they have left out the sauces requested or put different sauces versus what I ordered. For a dipper like me, jacked up sauces is serious business. One time I had a server who put the smallest portions I've ever gotten at Panda. If you eat there all the time, you sort of get used to a certain portion size, so if you HALF it, well, that's going to tick me off. Overall, Panda food is mostly the same. That said, for some reason every since I've been going to this location, the Orange Chicken (which is why we go to Panda, right?), has been weird. I know they don't use chicken breast on this like they do with the Sweet Fire Chicken Breast, but it's where I don't even want to KNOW what part of the chicken they are using and I'm pretty sure I need to just stop ordering it. Maybe it's a company wide problem, not just this location, but it was always good before. The newest food drama is they've introduced their new honey sesame chicken (boring) and in order to accommodate it, they are not carrying the Black Pepper Chicken. Again, I don't know if this is a company wide thing or just this location, but my husband eats at Panda for the Black Pepper Chicken, so this is a serious bummer. Now on this last visit, I was told they were no longer going to have the reward card program. I know companies can change their programs. Intellectually, okay. But, why would you get rid of your reward program when a competitor JUST opened in your neighborhood AND they have a reward program? I don't get it. I also, again, don't know if this is a company situation or just this location. Maybe my unhappiness is a combination of company policies and this location, so maybe that's not fair to give this location two stars, but every time I go there, I end up feeling pissed off or disappointed. They are scammers and stingy at this location. They ask for donations more than once and if you don't donate if will reflect on your order even though we are paying for it. Very unprofessional and stingy as if they are hungry for your last penny. On my orders i am always missing soy sauce, hot sauce, and forks. We are in America we do not eat with our fingers here. Get with the program. Also on this occasion i asked for easy ice due to headache and i got a full cup of ice. Probably only about 1/4 of my cup was actually soda. Very dissatisfied. I do not recommend this location, go another. If I am paying for food i expect good food and even better service that is what a good business should be about. The food at this location is not good. As a frequent patron of Panda Express, I know how their menu items are supposed to look and taste and this is not it. I chose this location for the convenience of the drive thru but the food I received was so unacceptable that I ended up having to park and go in. Chow mein was burned and inedible. Mushroom chicken was congealed and looked old. I went inside and they were very nice. They gave me fresh chow mein and chicken. I could see right away that the new stuff looked exactly the same, chow mein was burned and the sauce for mushroom chicken was all clumpy and gross looking. Sure enough, that pervasive burnt taste was there. It was so strong that it made me feel ill and I ended up throwing it all in the trash. I think the problem lies in the preparation here, not the ingredients. Stop trying to pass off burned food and lay off the cornstarch! read more

This review is a shout out to the Asian lady who took control of the craziness that was from T-Mobile Tuesday free orange chicken bowl offer. She handled it by herself as swarms of confused hungry people came in asking for their food but who didn't realize they had to order through the app first. Families and friends were coming in as groups all with seperate tickets and she had a ton. I don't think she'll ever be a tmobile customer now lol But she handled the chaos like a boss creating a seperate line, remembering order numbers, serving up each order, and answering questions. Usually come to this one because of the drive thru. It's definitely more convenient and if you order online by the time I get there the order is ready. Food quality is what you'd expect but the staff is very friendly and won't try to rush you if you are asking for extra chili sauce or plates or the likes. During peak hours you might have to wait behind 2 or 3 cars but the order process is seamless. Good stuff! read more

I have been a big fan of Panda since I was a kid when they were mostly located in grocery stores. Now that we can visit this great fast food restaurant via drive through (especially with Covid) is just a great added benefit. This location has always been clean, good/friendly staff, food is always as is expected... AMAZING!!! My Orange Chicken so hard and dry the plastic fork wouldn't penetrate it. My vegetables some old and mushy mixed with new and hard to chew. And my noodles all dried up and skinny. I do like panda express in general, and I love this shiny new location. Having a drive-through is a very nice bonus for people like me who end up only getting a short lunch break! I'll probably continue to stop by here on occasion, but the meals are pretty fatty. I've never seen a manager/ boss working as hard as this one always is she has the whole place running like a well oiled machine! Also the young man who rang me up today (3-16-18 12:45pm) was really courteous and on point. The whole establishment was super clean even though it was really busy. Very disappointed with the lady who runs this place. She is very disrespectful to her staff. Yelling at them in front of customers. I can't believe I am in the U.S. I have a company and staff and I have never talk to my employees in a disgraceful manner. She needs some form of humanitarian training.
