Horrible, terrible, inexcusable customer service is provided here. My husband and I waited for someone to help us after our food had been collected. All we needed to do was pay and leave. Some girl that worked there just stared at us as we were standing by the register. Some girl continued to look up and down at her work. Then at us. Then at her work. She gave a bad look to a coworker, looked back at us, and continued to go back to her work. She did not say anything, not a "sorry for the wait," "I'll be right with you," or "Let me help you." For some reason there chowmain noodles now are filled with onion slices as we as so much cabadge . Seems to be a filler so it cost less to buy for there customers. Quality defiantly gone down. Smaller portions as well. Well guess we can blame min wadge going well I am giving two thumbs prob won't be back. read more

When it comes to places like panda express the bar for quality is pretty low however when it comes to this particular location I must say I was surprised at the amount of effort it would seem went into the place. When I first entered on a slow day it would seem as there was hardly anyone inside, one of the first things I noticed was the tables and chairs for the customers they weren't some cheap set that anyone could by at the local junk sale, no they were quality set made of polished stone tops and heavy wooden chairs. Additionally I noticed the clean floors and the pictures of pandas neatly framed on the walls as well there were also a few decoration consisting of bamboo. They played the local radio station as I stood there waiting for my turn to order. Finally I would note that the combination of all these different ascetics gave me the feeling of an above average place with welcoming environment over cleanliness and style. When I first ordered I took my time this did not annoy the person handling my food as she waited patiently even offering her own knowledge of what she considered the best. Now I must admit during this time there was no other person waiting behind me so it could be different when they become busier. The service was for the most part quiet well as they were both patient and helpful in my purchase. They also at the time had a charity going on where one could donate to a charity they were working with. I donated and they rang a bell and the whole staff yelled "THANk YOU" which was nice. Overall they were helpful and professionals. Finally one of the more important aspects of any kind of restaurant is the food and price. When it comes down to price and the amount of food you receive I have to say it is a fair price as when all was said and done I was stuffed. My total was $7.63 this was for a plate that consists of two entrees and one side. I order Orange Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken with a side of noodles. The orange chicken was pretty standard nothing special, but I did enjoy the teriyaki very much with the sauce on top of the well cooked meat it went marvelously well together. When it came to the noodles I really did not like them as there were fair to many onions in the mix I could not really taste the noodle as they were over powered by the onions. Overall I found the meal to be both well priced and tasty even with the noodles. As one can see I have shown why these restaurant deserves more than the average score currently shown it offers quality at almost every step form the moment you enter, order your food, pay for it and enjoy a nice meal I will almost certainly enjoy another meal at this location. read more

Hmm says they close at 10:30pm I pulled up at 10:12 and they proceeded to tell me they only have 2 entrees and 2 sides today to serve. Which is funny because I had just taken my mother there two hours earlier for her meal. The only reason I didn't place my order at that time was because I didn't have my card. When it comes to the Panda call me...ummm...Panda? (no witty comment). I make it a goal to eat at Panda Express at every chance I can muster. I enjoy their clean fresh presentation style, and open kitchen, made to order(close to) entrees. If you are new to their food, or havnt been within the last 6 months, be sure to try their new sweet fire chicken. However(there is always a flip side) this resturante wont give you the experience that Mr. Panda is known to provide. This location is dirty, the noodles are never fresh (ate here twice), and the in-store dinning is not too appealing. Make sure this Panda Express gives you back your debit card when you go through the drive thru. Usually they give you your card and your receipt BEFORE they hand you the food. Last night when I went there for takeout they gave me the food and I made the mistake of driving away without my card. I went back this morning about 10 minutes after they opened at 10am and told the day manager they did not give me back my debit card. First of all, no apology. I asked her to check for my card, and she told me she couldn't do that because she didn't know where the card was and the crew on duty last night wasn't there. I asked if she would check their "lost and found" location. She said they don't have one. She said she would have to call someone from the evening shift and ask if they knew where the card was. I said please do, that I would wait. She came back a couple of minutes later and said she couldn't reach anyone. Again, no apology. I said, "This is very disappointing," and still no apology. I told her the first thing she needed to do was establish a "lost and found" location in the restaurant. She shrugged, but no apology. Every business should have a "lost and found"!! I needed my debit card, so I had to drive to my bank and get a replacement. I am still waiting on an apology, but I certainly won't be holding my breath. read more

Terrible order for drive thru. I spent $13.00 for a bigger menu with ice tea. When I arrived home nearly five minutes away. I opened my meal, the fire grilled chicken with White was ice cold. The iced tea was the wrong flavor with no ice. I called and was told to bring the food back with receipt. The gentleman on the phone spoke in broken English. Okay, I'm not even going to bother talking about the food because reviewing the food at Panda Express is like reviewing the food at any other fast food joint. It was good and filling, but the thing about this location that makes me not want to come back is the customer service. My friends and I came in at 9pm on a Sunday night. We could've gone anywhere closer to one of the friends' house like In-N-Out or Cane's, but we chose something different. We walk in, there's one person in line, one employee cleaning the glass where the food is, and several other employees running around behind the register. The three of us knew what we wanted, and were paying separately, hence why we didn't go through the drive thru, The people at the register pay for their meal, and instead of the employee who was helping them asking us what we'd like or if we'd been helped, goes and starts talking to the other employees. After loudly mentioning we had been standing there looking at the food for five minutes without any assistance, that employee comes over to ask if we'd been helped. It's not like we had been wearing camouflage and blended in to the restaurant, and it's not like we had been sitting there wondering what to get, so I can't imagine why we had to still wait after the customers in line had left minutes ago. read more

This Panda Express was great. The food was definitely adequate for a fast food place. The food was still hot when they served me which was even better. The service was very friendly. Everyone was friendly. The man who made my plate and the woman behind the cash register were especially nice. The place was also very clean including the bathrooms which is very important to me. They made sure to clean tables when people left. I really appreciated that. They had music playing overhead and it was perfect for the atmosphere. I'd definitely come back to this Panda Express again, and I plan to sometime in the near future. read more

This is the third time I have gotten a wrong order. The last time I called them and they advised me I would get reimbursed on my next visit and would only need a receipt and my name. Unfortunately when I went back they were trying to force me out of my car and go inside to have them check the receipt. During this pandemic it is crucial I keep myself and my family safe as they were in the car and should not have to be forced to go inside when my receipt was available and I would have been glad to wait in my car. Long story short I did not get my order once again and ended up leaving in frustration as I was already late for work. It was my first time visiting this location and didn't have the best experience. My boyfriend and I ordered the bowls, chow mein and orange chicken when i get to the cashier i notice that his bowl only had like 4 little pieces of orange chicken and I nicely asked the guy can i please get a little more chicken on my boyfriend bowl. He right away said No, that all we are allowed to serve! I got a bit upset and laughed and said that's not even a side, its 4 pieces. He then said I can give you another side but it will cost you I said fine IDC if you charge me I just want more chicken. He then smirked and went to go grab the side and was whispering to the girl that was on the line about what was going on and the girl rolled her eyes! which made me super upset i just paid and walked away. Bella (my service dog) and I have been dining at the 59th St. and Olive Avenue restaurant for couple of years. Len and crew always welcome you with a smile and excellent service. Entrées are always hot and Fresh. We travel all around Phoenix due to my vocation. Consequently, we visit many different panda locations. But when at all possible Lens location is our place to dine. Sergio, Lucy, and Abby just to name a few of their outstanding crew. Place is always clean & orderly. Thank you for putting on an outstanding dining experience. A quote from Arnold,"I'll be back! Lots of turnover and good location makes this one of the better Panda's in North Phoenix. Service is great and they are used to working fast as they deal with lots of corporate and school traffic at lunch. read more
