Wait - this Panda Express is actually like really good. The servers are so friendly!! The dining area is clean, and the food is good. The utensils and napkins are near the fountain drinks. There's a drive thru! In terms of food selection, they don't have many veggie-only dishes. There is mushroom chicken or broccoli beef. One of the options for the base (instead of rice or noodles) is steamed veggies, which includes cabbage, broccoli, and some kale. The shrimp is not worth it in my opinion. One of the worst Panda Express I've ever been to. This is not the typical one I would go to but we were shopping around the area so this was the closest one. What a mistake, will not be returning to this location. I ordered for pick up and went to the online pick up area and was told to wait 15 minutes (why? my pick up time was sooner than this). My time to pick up came and went and the older lady was slowly helping a family of 7 who was just wandering around like the whole world revolves around them. It ended up being a pile up at the pick up area while the workers were no where to be seen or just looking busy. The older gentleman (who I'm assuming is the manager) came by after a good 15 minutes and tried to give me random orders?? He looked at the last 3 digits of my order and gave me an order that says "Rommel" and INSISTED it was mine, uh I'm pretty sure that's not my name. Then he put it back and tried to give me another one. What is going on? Ended up having to spend 20 minutes there to pick up my order!! What a huge waste of my time. Additionally, the servings were very stingy. The orange chicken doesn't even taste like how it normally should taste, not as crispy (more flat). The Dodgers keep on winning at home which means that they got this code for a 5 dollar 2 entree plate and I am locked in. 1/2 super greens, 1/2 chow mein, orange chicken and string bean chicken. Convenient location and quick service. I came here on a weekday to see if I could get some orange chicken and veggies with plain white rice (something healthy) and was pleasantly surprised at quick service. They were also very accommodating because I didn't really know where the water station was at or what kind of sauces they had. I came here for the milk tea and was sad to find out they discontinued it. They did have new drinks on the menu and I was curious so I tried the watermelon mango refresher. It was very good which is a good thing it means I don't have to drive to West Covina to get a refresher any more. I also got the sizzling shrimp which was very good as well. The presentation however could be better. I did drive Thur so the only thing about the service was they forgot to give me a straw and I asked for one and they gave me chop sticks instead which I found funny. They didn't seem busy so I think they were just distracted which is no big deal cus luckily I had an extra straw from earlier. We drove an hour just to try a Panda Express burrito (or wrap), well, technically it was referred to as a Bing. I called ahead to make sure they did the burritos. And they did! So, we drove out to order our first Panda Express wrap. NOTE: Only 3 locations in southern California offer this wrap on the menu. Let me first recognize the service. On the phone, very nice. Through the drive-thru, I liked the collaboration: two voices greeted me, took my order, and answered my questions. A wrap is basically one-two entrees and a side wrapped in a tortilla. This is how it was explained to me. I ordered orange chicken, half chow mein and rice. My boyfriend ordered Walnut Shrimp and chow mein. Also, they serve tea, but not just ANY tea: Panda Milk Iced Tea (black tea latte) and Thai Ice Tea. Unfortunately, neither of us got bona, which is usually offered but at the time of of our order, it was not available. Total Cost: $26 (our most affordable date, ever) with tax. Let's talk food. My orange chicken wrap was significantly heavier than my boyfriend's Walnut Shrimp wrap. I recommend doing an entree with rice and chow mein for a bigger meal. My boyfriend got about 3 pieces of shrimp and two walnuts in his wrap and weighed less (and was smaller), but taste great! By the time we finished, we were full and no mess! NOTE: During quarantine, eat in the parking lot and then stand in line at Daiso to walk it off (and shop) inside, then walk to the line at 85 degrees bakery to pick up pastries. I have always liked Panda Express. This one replaced Taco Bell a while ago and I find the food here seems tastier and in bigger portions. The plates are really good deal. We usually get orange chicken, Kung Pao chicken with quinoa fried rice. Egg rolls are my favorites with sweet and sour sauce. The teriyaki chicken even small is big enough for one person. If you're curious about the "Beyond Orange Chicken," it's actually pretty good! You know it's not real meat, but they really did a great job at mimicking the texture of real chicken. Tossing it in that same sweet-&-spicy Orange Chicken sauce that "Panda Express" is known for, you can hardly tell it's not the real thing. Give it a try! It's pretty good! Finally, this location features a little something special that I've never seen at a standard "Panda Express": A tea bar (aptly named, "Panda Tea Bar")! One of the better fast food establishments I've been to! They keep it pretty clean and customer service is friendly. When I order online they actually pay attention to the special instructions section. Even for a half Chinese person I'm pretty satisfied with the panda food. Kung pao chicken is better than some authentic places trying to make western food. The upgraded steak entree also pretty good and I like that all the meats are quite lean.
