This is our go-to place for beef rib cravings! The meat was so tender that it fell right off the bone. Service is super quick, and there's a food court to sit comfortably so you can devour your food properly. Quick, affordable, delicious ribs!

I'm reaaally sad the korean corn dog spot closed down but this place is a good replacement ig LOL. The food here is actually really fire. The katsu is delish, one of my favs fs. The outside is crispy and the inside is pretty tender. The rib was fall off the bone meat. Super flavorful! I am obsessed with the fried skin on chicken wings so the gochujang fried chicken side was PERFECT for me! The shrimp is huge, crispy and also packed with flavor. There is seating outside. There is a common indoor seating area if you keep walking right, past the two other stores.

We got the galbi short rib plate and added half an order of the garlic shrimp. The galbi was very soft and perfectly marinated. The garlic shrimp is deep fried with the shell on giving it a nice crispy texture and packed with fried garlic. Our total came out to be shy of $30 which I felt was a bit pricey for the amount of food. The bed of rice it came with was smaller compared to other places we tried. I didn't feel like the mac salad was anything special either. Overall, it was a yummy spot but due to the high price point I would probably find another spot to try.

A solid spot that's perfect whenever I'm craving Hawaiian food or mac salad. They serve generous portions and have some really tasty sauces that complement the meal well. I also love that it comes with plenty of salad and rice, what a satisfying meal. Everything was flavorful, and I'd come back.

The beef rib plate here is absolutely insane. Not only are the portions ginormous, but the quality of the beef rib is fall off the bone tender and incredibly flavorful. The price point is higher than other local Hawaiian BBQ spots, but I would say it's well worth it. The restaurant is quite small and operates more takeout style, but they have a separate area for dining, both indoor and outdoor depending on your preference. Service is good, but please note if you're ordering takeout, they'll need CC and ID confirmation.

Plate lunches here are just as delicious as on the Hawaiian Islands. First, the garlic butter shrimp...I will dream about it. Second, the bbq chicken was tender and oh-so flavorful on its own; no need for the dipping sauce although the sauce IS super tasty. Next, the rice is topped with furikake and sesame seeds. Sadly, the spicy pork flavor is excellent, but I don't like how it's in small pieces. I referred to it as shrapnel pieces, and my BF thought that was a precise phrase for it. We were disappointed that the gochujang wings were not available on a weekend night at 6:30pm. This a food court location, so if you want to eat hot & fresh, you need to find a table two stalls down in a small inside area with about 6 tables or outside with about the same amount of tables.

Beef rib plate was really good! There were only 2 bar-type tables inside for dine in. If you have a party more than 3 people you may have to sit outside. They sold out of spam musubi so Come early

Ahhhhh-mazing!! Hubby and I were in the area and stumbled across this Hawaiian joint. Located inside an adorable food court, we were hesitant because it was cold out and it seemed like there was only outdoor seating however, they have indoor seating also (yaaaay!). We thoroughly enjoyed the garlic butter shrimp and BBQ beef plate. Huge servings, sooo tasty, and the ribs fell right off the bone. Delicious is an understatement. We've had our share of outstanding Hawaiian food on the North Shore and Maui, so this was a delightful find.

Been wanting to try this place out coz it's near my moms house. Finally made it. It was nice that they had extra seating the next unit over but the day we went, it was hot in there so we didn't eat in. Let me tell you though, if the air situation was fixed, definite 5 stars! The food! The garlic shrimp, gochujang chicken, spicy pork. Yum! The ribs had meat falling off the bone and the mac salad was to my liking. Definitely a place we will go back to often!

My friend and I came right when they opened so plenty of parking in the plaza. I know that the plaza gets busy if you go during dinner times. Inside was so fun and festive z they have restrooms down the hall. I got the beef rib place and it was AMAZING! I will definitely be coming back! The beef and Mac salad were so flavorful and paired so well with the cabbage and rice. I couldn't even finish it in one meal.

My first visit to this restaurant was about the same time in December but over a year ago, so I knew it was going to be at least decent when it popped up as the choice from our weekly lunch roulette. It's located within Yes Plaza, so loads of parking, but not necessarily GREAT parking, the spots are smaller than normal and the light posts between the rows of parking do take up a significant chunk of one of the spots, so don't get too excited when you see an empty spot that no one has taken yet when it's busy. Amongst the many identical glass storefronts of Yes Plaza, this one is an easier one to find, it's in the back corner, one of the few stores that have a fake city building facade. You actually can't miss it. Service was nice and helpful, letting us know that down two storefronts is an indoor eating area with tables. Very useful for us since it was raining that day. Tables were also available outside. We ordered the Beef Rib ($18) and the Galbi plates ($19). The wait wasn't long but it also wasn't quick. The restaurant has a website you can order from so next time if I know I'm going there, I'd place my order while I was on the way driving there. Portions are great. The meat was cooked well. The meat didn't need too much gnawing or effort to get it off the bone and there's a large amount of salad to cut through all the meat that they give. Would recommend to go there if you're in the area or passing by and need to take something home for a meal.

Everything is cooked over heated charcoal so there's no flame or grimey grills. This results in significantly less smoke and a very low risk of overcooking/burning your meat. Each of the little skewers is heated slowly on a rotating bicycle chain that twirls the meat for even cooking. It's super fun to watch--dinner and a show! Haha. Another plus is that the meat comes in bite sized portions, so no struggling to remove a hunk of meat from the stick and no need for knives! In essence, adult finger food or tasting menu that allows you to try everything. GUI has incredible variety, including lots of exotic meats: chicken gizzard, chicken heart, chicken cartilage, frog, etc. I'm not that adventurous and prefer not to deal with bones, so I stuck with the classics: pork belly, chicken, and bacon wrapped mushroom. Even though GUI is known for their bbq, they also serve tasty side dishes like oysters and cucumber salad. The restaurant is located on the second level of an Asian strip mall just off the 60 freeway. Parking can be challenging during dinner hours so go early. Service is good and they kept the beers flowing. If you have a larger group, there are a few air conditioned private rooms that are nice and quiet. The lamb soup was great too but it was too hot for the weather that day. I was looking forward for my grilled oysters but it was undercooked a little so we asked them to cook a little bit longer for us. Overall, I liked the experience and the price was decent. The dishes no longer have that proper wok hei flavor, and the food tasted bad on my recent visit. What made the experience even worse was the service. The staff were rude, dismissive, and acted annoyed that customers were even there. One of the girls, the one with the ponytail, was especially rude and needs to learn basic manners. Another staff member was also unfriendly and gave attitude the entire time. I also did not appreciate being pressured about tipping. A tip should be optional and based on good service. If the service is poor, customers should not be made to feel uncomfortable or confronted over it. On top of that, they add extra charges when using a credit card, including a fee if you spend under $30. That already feels frustrating, but the bigger issue is the attitude and poor treatment from staff. Customers are the reason businesses stay open. No one is asking to be treated like royalty, but people come in to enjoy a meal and should at least be treated with basic respect.
