I'm surprised I haven't given this Panda Express location a review. I stopped by here occasionally when I'm at the Irvine Spectrum. Came in here tonight after getting a burger for my husband next door. For base, I got chow mein with steamed vegetables and for entrees, tofu eggplant and chicken breast with green beans. Food was decent but greasy as usual. Service was non-existent as they are always so busy. 3.5/5

Panda Express is the best option for healthier fast food that is high in value and packed with flavor. This location loads it up with the portion size, filling the box to the brim. The food is consistent and delicious. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and there is indoor and outdoor seating that is clean and well maintained.

Went to try the new items on the menu. The Dynamite Chicken was definitely more spicy than the previous spicy items featured though it didn't really have much of a sweet and sour flavor. Pepper Chicken had really tasty chicken, but too much pepper. Overall, I would still prefer getting the regular offerings. Chow Main and Super Greens were good. The plate portion size was a good amount. Prices are reasonable, just slightly more than other locations in the area. This location can become very busy at certain times and online orders tend to be slower than usual.

Located in the Irvine Spectrum Center. They have tables inside, but it was full so I had to look for seating nearby. On a Saturday night seating was a little tough to find. Had to wait for a family to finish up to use a table. I placed my order on the app and then went inside to pick it up. I went in a little earlier than my quoted 20 minute wait time. There was a clearly marked pick up area. The cashier interacted with me and then went to work on the order since it wasn't ready yet . All of the lid holders in the drink area had some kind of fuzz or residue in the crevices. Yuck. Not appetizing. My meal was half fried rice, half regular rice, mushroom chicken, honey, sesame chicken. The white rice was crunchy and not soft . The honey sesame chicken was the better tasting of the two and I received more pieces of chicken in that serving.

Located inside the Irvine Spectrum mall, I've visited this location twice, and both times ended with some type of disappointment, first time, tried to redeem a birthday reward that was expiring but was unsuccessful, even though the reward didn't expire till the next day. Second time today, was missing the grilled chicken teriyaki in a takeout mobile app order that we had to wait cause the order wasn't ready. Although it's relatively spacious inside, it seemed very hectic as people were trying to get their order in store and online order side was somewhat disorganized. Last time, I recalled someone's order falling on the floor off the counter due to it being very chaotic inside. The food itself tastes a bit greasy, and too oily but I suppose it is fast Chinese food. Try at your own risk and maybe just order in store if you're hoping to get your full order.

First and last time ordering a to go order from this specific location, as you can see the super greens are all wilted old and disgusting. I'm not sure which manager or employees even cooked that and served it out to customers, on top of that, they forgot my entire kids meal entrée no chicken just the disgusting wilted old slimy super greens and white rice on the side. I will say the manager I believe her name is Gabrielle handled the matter very quickly and professionally, and returned to my refund right away with no hassle

I'm somewhat shocked by the amount of negative reviews this location has. As Irvine residents, we visit the spectrum almost on a weekly basis and will visit this location for lunch or dinner once in a while. Each visit has been a positive one. Yes, the lines can get pretty long on weekends, but the lines does move pretty quickly considering the amount of guest and workers there are. Item proportions are generous and fresh. The restaurant isn't the biggest, but clean and spacious with plenty of seating outside.

There was some black specs in my drink ew

The lamb skewers were juicy and perfectly seasoned with cumin, and the grilled beef tendon skewers had an amazing crispy, chewy texture. The soup dumplings were full of flavorful broth, and the braised beef knife-cut noodles were chewy with large, tender chunks of beef. We also tried the beef paomo for the first time--it was warm, comforting, and packed with rich flavor. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and after chatting with the staff we learned the owner is from Xi'an, which explains how authentic everything tasted. The prices were a little bit more expensive than I would have preferred but they do give generous servings. We ordered stir fried string beans, orange chicken, crispy beef, and salt and pepper fish filet. My least favorite was the crispy beef, mostly because it didn't even taste like I was eating much. I probably should have gotten a different beef dish, otherwise everything else was pretty good. They have a robot delivering food to the tables. They do have someone at the front desk area if you have any questions or need hot water for teas.

I went to the A&J in SGV over a decade ago and was thrilled there is one in Irvine. They have the usual Taiwanese staples like nu rou mian (beef noodle soup), beef roll, and green onion pancake but they're done exceptionally well and have abundant portions. Bonus for me is they have a very cheap zhua bing, which I don't usually see on menus. Do not be alarmed if you bite into one and find a stringy substance in there. That is normal apparently. It was my first time trying lotus root crispy fries and I enjoyed them a lot! More than I thought I would. The tomato beef noodles were also delicious as well. I thought the noodles were cooked perfectly and the broth was very tomato-y and beefy. The only thing was the kale. It really didn't do anything to the dish so other than just being a green, leafy veggie, it really didn't need to be there. Same with the parsley. The beef rolls were also quite nice. I thought that the ones I had dine-in were perfectly crispy with just the right of sauce to not overpower the other ingredients in the roll. Also, some places skimp on the meat and fill up the "beef" roll with too much cucumber. I thought this place was very balanced with the beef and cucumber! I did however, order a second beef roll to go and noticed that they didn't put enough sauce. So, that seemed a little inconsistent. I also ordered the spicy wontons and they were so delicious that I ordered a second one to go! Overall, I thought the experience was a great one. The service was good and friendly.
