Waited for over an hour to get my meal after being confidently told that it was going to 10-15mjn wait. Ridiculous!

We placed a large order online for pick up yesterday. When we arrived we were told that one of the items (general tso's) was out of stock and we were given kung pao as a replacement. Upon arriving back at home, we discovered that the bag of food we were given did not contain our complete order, it was missing a $7 order of egg rolls. I spent $60 on this crap and now, my brother is sick from the kung pao. read more

I have been here so many times. This is one of my favorite places to get take out in Madera. Nice variety of selections of foods !Large servings ! Service is quick and friendly. My favorite items are chow mien, fried rice, orange chicken ,Teriyaki chicken, Mushroom chicken, Beijing beef, egg rolls and crispy shrimp. Nice place to go ! read more

I had got a bowl with beef and broccoli then a plate with orange chicken and chow main. My plate with orange chicken there was about 10 little pieces on the plate for being about 9$ for the plate I expect to be at least a little bit more food then what I got. I had not tried this place in over a year due to continuous bas service. Wife wanted to try the new Black angus dinner. Went in drive thru. They took my order asked if I wanted to donate and I politely declined. Drove up to pay. All bad guy asked if I ordered a bowl and soda. I said no. I started to tell him what I ordered and he said "I don't see it". So I had to reorder. He said there was a7 minute wait on the Orange Chicken. I agreed and moved to the parking lot. I though the price was a lil high so I checked my recite and guess what? They charged me the donation I had declined. I walked in the restaurant and reminded them I had declined. They game me the money back. I was waiting for my food and noticed they had plenty of Orange Chicken. It had been about 10 min so I asked a worker if my meal was ready? She just ignored me. I asked another work Where was my food? Guess what they forgot to make it. Just horrible. Now I remembered why I quit coming to this horrible place. I'll tell you wha it is my last Time I visit Panda Express. I gave it a 1 star because you Can't give it a -5 star. P.S. The wait was unbeleivable horrible! After waiting forever for our food we were told at the drive thru window that half of the items we ordered were unavailable. We choose different items and it still took forever to receive our food. As we were leaving we noticed they left several items that we ordered out of our bag. When we walked inside to let them know we were missing items they made it seem like it was our fault we ordered it in the first place. Horrible service! This is the absolute worst Panda Express I have ever visited. These people seem clueless. It took nearly 25 mins to get our food. They ran out of rice and noodles. No problem. The girl scraped the bottom of the barrel and left is with half ass portion of noodles. I kindly asked her that I would wait for fresh noodles. She had an attitude. Really? I don't very often eat at Panda Express Madera, Ca, but on this day I had a crave for some orange chicken. I did a drive they order fir a two entre meal, the half stir fry and rice, orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. When I arrived home and began to eat bites of the orange chicken, it was extremely spicy! Something very different in taste from the orange chicken on previous orders! I noticed the chicken pieces had red pepper flakes on them mixed into the glaze. I do eat chili at times, but this was extremely spicy!!! I couldn't eat it, it ruined my meal. If the recipe has changed for preparation of orange chicken to a spicy recipe it should be noted to customer on the menu. It should state "Spicy Chicken!" I would return it, but due to a current pandemic and curbside ordering, its a real inconvenience! I sure hope other customers that don't frequent indulge in spicy foods, don't get a mouth on fire! read more

Be prepared to not get what you went there for, because no matter what entree you order, they're always out, or if they do have it, be prepared to wait forever so they can thaw it from they're freezers. My last visit, I ordered 4 chicken egg rolls & they told me they only had 2 left in the whole restaurant, and no more. Wtf lol? Basically they never have anything you want, unless it's they're gross orange chicken, seems like that's all anyone eats in this town lmao. I was at the drive thru like an hour before it closes. I asked for two entrees in particular and they told me that they were out, so I asked how long it would take for them to make more because I was willing to wait for it. They told me they were not going to make more and to choose from other entrees. I've been to the one in Fresno and even if I get there 10 minutes before closing time and they are out of a certain item they make it for their customers right there on the spot. I was extremely disappointed with panda express. They ran out of one of their dishes. There featured item! While waiting to get our food a lady was attempting to empty a box of fortune cookies into there dispenser. The lady had the box angled and dropped many cookies into the floor. The cashier tried to help her. Then they picked up the cookies off the floor and put them in the dispenser also. The cashier returned to the register, took money from a customer. Then went over to the food and was working inn people's orders. I never saw her wash her hands and she was not wearing gloves. read more

Friendly staff but... Filthy dining area. Overflowing garbage. Out of several entrees, including the most popular orange chicken. Long line with one cashier, who kept leaving to take orders to people who had to wait for their entrees to finish cooking. Out of chili sauce. Food was cold by the time I got to eat it. The customer service at this location seems to have really gone down hill. On a recent visit, they had run out of plates. Their solution? To offer a bowl instead with MUCH less food for the same price as the two item plate. Really?!? Horrible customer service!!!! I have T-Mobile and it gave us a promo for a free bowl. I didn't know I had to do everything online so we had obviously already ordered. Before I cashier tells us we don't just take promo code everything is online. Okay well we sat down did it online. Then she tells us oh no we can't give you your order till ten minutes after you placed it cuz it's not in the system.....really your gonna tell me that people that order online the order doesn't show up till ten minutes after??? That doesn't make since so if it wasn't busy and I ordered online and got there before the ten minutes you still wouldn't give me the order???? Hmmmm. Sounds ridiculous. And most of the staff just had attitude. It was like grand opening week or something and my boyfriends mom had brought some home. I was so glad because I totally love Panda and I can always go for some. My boyfriend doesn't like to experiment too much with Chinese food, so we had the basics. Sweet n Sour pork (really good) Mandarin chicken with sauce (eh... ok) ChowMein (MAJOR good like normal Panda) Fried rice (hard to go wrong with that) and lastly, can't have Panda without it.... ORANGE CHICKEN!!! And omg... lemme tell ya.... I was SSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOO disappointed!!!! It wasn't like it should be!!! Hopefully after everyone is trained well, it will get better!! Every time I come here the drinks aka soda don't have much flavor they taste funky. It's probably old. I ordered a bowl this time and people usually get half and half but I just wanted chow mein and we only got the one half and not the other half. Their sweet fire chicken is the only good thing there. Their power greens are always hard and not cooked enough. Their egg rolls could be better I'm not a fan. I won't be coming back anytime soon it's a hit or miss honestly not worth it. Same consistent panda express food and service. The only difference with this panda is the location. On the weekend the swap meet sets up at the fair ground so there is rediculous traffic in that area in the morning till the afternoon. nice set up on the inside. always clean when ive been here. read more

Love this place. Food portions are large. Take out is best. They go through so much food that is always fresh. Tried an egg roll the other day for the first time. Pretty good. My fav is the Mongolian beef and schezuan cod. Service is sometimes a little show and chaotic, but those kids try hard. read more

Is it the best Panda Express I've been to? By no means but I don't come to Panda Express expecting gourmet food. I do however expect decent portions and good customer service....which this location delivers...99% of the time.
