Just came in here tonight, Saturday 4-13-24 at 8pm. The workers were already cleaning and trying to close down an hour and a half early. The girl working at the counter informed me that they weren't putting out anymore food for the night. The ONLY food out looked very old, and there wasn't even enough rice or noodles to accommodate a plate. No orange chicken at all. I don't know who the manager working on duty tonight is but they need to be fired immediately. Tons of customers were coming in, at least 15 different people, literally everyone had to leave and go somewhere else bc there was no food left. Heard about the new Beyond Orange Chicken and just had to try it out. I haven't been to panda express in years so I didn't know if the policy changed, but the girl wouldn't give me a sample so I was suckered into just ordering it. it's basically a beyond chicken nugget with orange sauce. I was expecting some more texture, less nugget more chicken. I've had the beyond nuggets before and these were overcooked and very rubbery. the shrimp was also overcooked. then the lady doing my order was very rude, I get it's the end of your shift, you've prob been there most of the day, but you don't need to be snarky. and I'm fine if you barley acknowledge my presence but just don't be. in the end if I just sampled it I prob wouldn't have eaten here. most chains just haven't tasted good in a bit. ngl I would still buy some orange chicken sauce, make some seitan, and have my own lil vegan orange chicken read more

What do I like about this location? Well, let's put it down like this. I've been to the location in Collierville and this one, in Cordova. The one in Collierville would already have been boarded up if the food wasn't good. They're inconsistent with business practices and take advantage of the Covid situation repeatedly. One day they're open so you can come in and order, the next day they don't. Always one excuse after the other. The one in Cordova? I've honestly never had a problem. After today, I won't be going back to the one in Collierville any more. They waste my time. Management at Cordova clearly knows how to run a franchise. Also...as for the Cordova location, food is excellent and the customer service is even better. The Collierville location could learn a thing or two from them. read more

The place is clean, the staffs friendly but sometime the yell across the restaurant for some help. And now I'm sitting here in my restroom regretting my visit to this location. Dropping my review to a 2 star at my most recent visit to this location. When i go to Panda Express I'm expecting EXPRESS. More like Panda Two Lane Road With A Wreck On It So It Takes Forever To Get Through. They were out of probably half of the things they offered and all I wanted was my orange chicken and fried rice. I had a 15 minute wait for my orange chicken and I'll never get those 15 minutes of my life back. If they were super busy and had a line of people I would understand running out of a few things, but with the amount of people in there i do not understand how they were out of so many things. Why do they not have a second batch of orange chicken ready like all the other locations. Only thing keeping me from dropping to a one star is the fact that i really do enjoy the food. Three times trying this location and I'm done. Once we sat in the drive thru and waited 25 min for our food after we ordered. Good thing I checked the bag before we drove away, because part of our order was missing. Two times we also ordered online and both times our orders were wrong. The most recent experience, the online order was placed and an hour later the food wasn't even started. This time I decided to talk to the manager about the extensive delay of the order and the missing food. I called at 7:30 pm and the manager offered for me to come in another time to get the items that were missing. She explained that they were very busy. I said this was my third bad experience and I'd like a refund instead. She then talked over me, and said she can't refund online orders and that the store was busy and she didn't have time to deal with me. She hung up when I said I'd like to come in for a refund since she can't do it online. I've never dealt with a Panda Express that was bad... so it's clear after three times this is t the place for us. I wish the service here was as good as we always experienced when we lived in California, but after three bad experiences, the food just is not worth it. read more

It's a crazy time for everybody and most people understand the added stress that knowing the next person you come into contact with could pass along the COVID19 germs to you. Any service industry businesses still open are at even greater risk due to the quantity of customers. I appreciate that. What I don't appreciate is being treated like crap when I patronize your business and help to keep it open during these crazy times. Ordered through the Panda Express website and paid for a curbside pickup at 4:20. Said it would be ready at 4:50. Got there early and the man who came to the car said the order didn't exist. He came back 2 times, insisting each time there was no order unless it came through on their printer. At 4:55, went inside the restaurant since no food had been brought out. The order still wasn't ready. Showed the order number and the confirmation that payment was made. The guy disappeared into the back. Asked the woman there about it and she got an attitude. Said nothing she could do without a printed order. Then she comes with a bag and says it's our order and it had been sitting there for 20 minutes! It wasn't our order. Same first name, totally different last name. This was pointed out, and THEN she went into overdrive with the attitude and rudeness, and tried to pin the error on us somehow. We finally walked out with our order at 10 after 5. With just our order, not a "Thank you" not a "Sorry for the confusion" or a "Sorry for the wait". Not a word. The time wasn't the issue. The rudeness was. Next time, we'll spend our money at a mom and pop place that appreciates their customers' business. read more

We did not understand how the entrees would be served. We placed our order at the drive through and when we got to the window it was clear we did not order what we wanted. Instead of trying to help us fix the problem the clerk said that there was nothing she could do since our order was already bagged. When we opened the food we were very disappointed in the quality. I got a bowl with teriyaki chicken, I couldn't even finish the bowl as it simply was not good (was pretty awful)... the rice was dry and almost cold and the chicken had a slimy texture to it (nothing new). Not only that, but the selection of different types of chicken and other meats was very limited, they discontinued any of the decent options to pick from and you're now left with the worst ones. This place has gone down hill so fast it's unbelievable. My last three visits have not gone well and I've left without food two of those three times. The place has been dirty and the drink station has been a nightmare. Leaking tea containers and spills that look like they have been there for days. Tables that haven't been wiped down and the floors looked filthy. They have been out of food as well which has probably been for the best since I've left a couple of times and not had to eat in that filth. How do you not have any food out at noon?!?! On the one visit I did stay and eat they were running very low on several of the entrees and I was served three pieces of Sweet Fire Chicken and a half of a Teriyaki Chicken Breast at full price. They were also out of Fried Rice and the Mixed Vegetables so I had Chow Mein. There are too many options in this area to put up with this lack of management. I'll spend my money elsewhere. The food is usual decent but the behavior of the staff is lazy and unprofessional routinely they will run out of their main dishes 2 hours before they close and seemed annoyed that you asked what else do they still have available, several times a hour before they close they flat-out say we're close we have nothing left. I understand that certain food can only be made so much in advance but don't lose business just so you can go home rather than properly prepping for the evening. I have been to a few of these places but this location had the weirdest service. When I got to the drive-through window after ordering they let me know two of the things I had asked for weren't available... which was odd because they also didn't have a menu for me to check and see what else I wanted. I had my stuff from yelp so I was able to check what I wanted. They were also willing to tell me what was on the menu but it's odd that they didn't mention it when I ordered it. Pulled up to the drive thru and waited for any acknowledgement and got nothing after waiting for 5 mins. I then pulled up to the drive thru window and honked and no one was there. I then proceeded to park and walk to to get service and once I walked in I receive no acknowledgement or greeting. I then asked if your drive thru was open and the employee stated yes and then ask if I was dining in or takeout. Wow!! I then asked for the manager on duty which her name is KAREN and she was even more rude cause I asked her for their cooperate number and she told me to check the receipt and walked away.
