This is the 1st review I have ever done in my 51 years of life.... that is how truly bad the food is! We went to the Panda Express on McKellips and Greenfield. Restaurant (if you can call it that) was so nasty dirty they should be shut down, they won't pass an inspection. The food tasted unbelievably horrible almost as if it was made that was on purpose. With that said, we got our food from the very rude staff who could not care less, and went home to eat it. The fork full of noodles had a long strand of hair in it. That was it for us, so we chose to call the store and we were informed that they are to busy to talk to a customer on the phone and when we explained what happened their only response is "there are 2 men here working and I (a girl) have short hair.". so according to her we are liars. Then she decides that we have to bring the food all the way back and hangs up. We got back there and showed the long piece of hair (we both have shaved heads) and she yells/ snaps "It's Not Hair!" we pull it out again from the food box and show her "YES it is!" and at that she screams "WELL ITS NOT MY HAIR!" (even though she is the only one working with the correct length hair that was barely pulled back). At that remark she says "You don't have to be rude!". We then explain that we are very frustrated by the disgusting food, dirty environment and how the manager is not only rude but is getting hair in the food!!! and to give us out money back immediately so we can leave Thai disgusting place! Do not recommend this Panda Express location at all. The person helping me was flustered and it was obvious. It was also obvious on her face that I was a nuisance. The dining room was messy and looked like it was cleaned in a rush, with little effort to make it look nice in the slightest way. The food was mid. Not bad for a Panda Express. Can I say I've experienced better, sure, but this place is not bad or horrible as others make it out to be. Stopped in for a late lunch on Wednesday and it was not very busy. I was greeted right away upon entering. I reviewed the menu and decided on the 'plate' which is 1 side and two entrees. I chose the fried rice, beef broccoli and chicken& string beans. I was not a fan of the fried rice, but my two entrees were very good. The meat and veggies were fresh and cooked perfectly in my opinion. They have several sizes to chose from, and many entree options to chose from. Some entree items are considered 'premium' items and there is a 1.25 charge for those items. I have been a Panda Customer for YEARS!!!! I have encountered a few bad locations .. this one is by far the WORSE!!!! I recently moved within 1 mile of this location and yes so excited. However, thru Covid, I use the online ordering App, so I can just grab n go. It never fails, they lose my order, or they run out of Teriyaki chicken, fried rice or some other items.. It doesn't matter how far in advance I place my order, I always have to WAIT° Today it has been over 33 min. According to staff, they have run out of Teriyaki chicken multiple times since I placed my order at 540pm. When I asked the young lady about it, she just states they have been busy. While I was waiting, so were 8 other patrons who came in before me. Geeeez..... Sooo, while waiting, a group came in with no masks.. they were promptly asked to vacate the store. Then the front door was standing open, and the staff were Yelling at the patrons to close the door!!! I am so utterly astonished at the customer service from this location. It is not in a good way either!!!!!!! Now, I am told they are out of black pepper chicken, as I am standing here watching walk in customers get all their orders. I am beyond dissatisfied at this point. I am going back to my previous location at Gilbert and University!!!
