Good food, but drive thru takes FOREVER!!! My family of 8 have chosen to go to different restaurants, even though we would've liked to have eaten here simply because we haven't got the time to wait. The last 2 times I've been in the drive thru, I've been asked to pull forward to wait 2-3 min for my food. Both times, it was over 10 min before I had my food. Both times I had to go in to get it. Went to eat about 9:15, kinda late I know especially since they close at 10:00..... but did you know they stop making food at 8:30 unless it's made to order??? We sure didn't, there were just pickings when we walked in. They said it was so they don't waste food, but seriously an hour and a half before you close. There were two groups before us and two after and three cars in the drive thru I'm pretty sure that most of the food wouldn't have been wasted. The food wasn't very flavorful and the broccoli was way over cooked. The cook wasn't happy he was having to make more food and the manager locked the door 10 min before they closed. They'll lie when it's getting close (about and hour and a half early) to closing time about "running out" of food so they don't have to make you any more. They are extremely slow when it comes to service, they are always out of something and their drive thru is HORRIBLE. Go to the one off of Garland ave.. worth the drive over waiting for 35 minutes in line at drive thru just for them to tell you they don't have what you asked for when you finally get to the window. Ok... A bad review has been a long time coming. I think, in the last 10 times, I have only had one good experience. I classify it as being good, because even though, once again, I am waiting for the same two items (Honey Walnut Shrimp and Chow Mein) , the guy giving the portions actually made my portions bigger. Not sure if that was because of the wait or he was rushing because they had gotten busy in the 15 minutes I waited. Almost every time, it is the same items they dont have ready, which makes me wonder why they dont make those items more of a priority. I have eaten a whole lot of Panda the last few months, and Murphy is the only place I have been to that has this problem, and it is almost every time. There have been other issues, but tonight was the worst. The server barely filled the first ladle and the second was about a quarter full. Even the Chow Mein, which had mostly vegetables and not so much noodles, was about half of what they usually give. All in all, I would say it was about half the weight, if not less. To add to it, when they finally determine who is supposed to be at the register, I hand her my card, but instead of taking care of the business at hand, the two girls begin a discussion about who is closing, only slightly paying attention to what she is doing at the register. Then she hands me my card and says, "Is there anything else"? I say, "How about a bag". She looks over the register at the containers and back at me like she is confused. So, I just said "Nevermind", and left. No bag, no napkins, no fork or chopsticks.... oh yeah and half the food for the same price. In fact when the server was being so careful not to give me food, I said, "Are you kidding me"? So he added one more small piece of orange chicken. I think today was my last visit to this location. Every visit over the years has been less than satisfactory in one way or another. Usually at least one portion of the meal is cold. This happened even on a day I ordered minutes after they opened. Today I went through the drive-through. One car ahead of me. Eight minutes later I got up to the window. I said to the young woman "That was an incredibly long wait." She replied "Yeah, it was, they were making vegetables." No apology, no thank you, she just handed me my food and was already speaking to someone else before it was in my car. Got home, noodles were cool and slightly undercooked. Worst panda express ever. Ordered a family feast online and once I got home and saw the crap they gave me, I was appalled. String bean chicken was just an order of string beans. Broccoli beef was broccoli stir fry. Orange chicken was just bits and pieces of batter. Ordering online should not mean give customers left overs. I came here Friday around 330 to get some lunch. I asked for half noodles and half rice. The girl was getting ready to serve my rice and I noticed that it was super dry and it look like it had been sitting there for a while maybe since lunch hour rush. I asked her if I could have some fresh rice and she said yes and told the cooks to make it. Before they even were able to start the manager I believe his name was Victor came out and told them to stop and told the girl to not serve the rice. I asked her why I couldn't have the rice and she said that they didn't have the ingredients which is a lie. I wouldn't come back to this location.I come here at least once a week and this has never happened. It's fast food. The steak and shrimp are both really good. Their new 5 spice shrimp didn't have much flavor, chow mein was super dry. Overall not bad, the 3 entree dinner will feed me probably 3 times so the value is great. Staff was friendly and fast. read more

My girlfriend and I ordered from this Panda through DoorDash. Hours after eating she begins throwing up, a couple days later I have the exact same symptoms. We both had to miss work and go to the doctor costing us time and money, not to mention the pain we were both in. I highly recommend this location focus on their food safety and making sure items aren't held on the line too long. Panda Express has lost two loyal customers because of this incident. I love Panda Express food in general. This location has been hit or miss the times I have gone. One time I went, I was charged for two drinks when I only ordered one, which I noticed on the receipt. The cashier would not refund my money because she "already rang it through", but would offer egg rolls. Well, I didn't want egg rolls, and surely they should be trained how to correct their errors. This was aggravating. The drive thru lines sometimes moves VERY slowly. If you get a drink in the drive thru, without fail, they give you what seems like 90% ice and 10% soda. Otherwise, the restaurant is clean. It's in a good location. And everyone (with the exception of "I don't know how to give you a refund) has been nice and helpful. read more

FOOD POISONING!!! I never eat out like seriously I just cook for my family but Sunday night I really had the craving for Panda Express so I ordered Bejing beef and Orange chicken with rice. Me and my boyfriend were the only two that ate it. The next day we both had stomach cramps I had severe diarrhea and he had both severe diarrhea and vomiting. we were fighting over the bathroom we were so sick. we know that it was food poisoning because everyone else that didn't eat the food was just fine. This right here is a perfect example of why I don't eat fast food nobody cares about how they prepare other people's food they don't care if you get sick. They just want a paycheck. I will never be eating here again. I'm disgusted!!! I don't know if the poisoning was from under cooked meat, cross contamination, rotten food or someone just simply not washing their hands before preparing someones food. read more

Once I came here just before closing and they gave me giant servings just so they didn't have food to throw away. Since then, I've come here repeatedly during all times of the day. They are always busy, but my food is never wrong, cold, or late. And the staff is always friendly. It is my favorite location of the franchise! read more

I had an unpleasant experience with a rude employee today at this restaurant. However the way Heidi and Hoang, the supervisors, handled the situation after was very good. I can tell that Heidi really cares about customer service. I was so frustrated and angry at the way I was treated but she stayed cool and addressed my concerns in a very professional way. Hoang also called me after to apologize and promised to address my concerns. Hi, We took our family to Panda in Murphy, TX last night for my daughters birthday. While we ordered our food the orange chicken & also mushroom chicken was out so they wrote it on the bowl and we sat down. AFTER 15 min of my husband JUST standing there WAITING, no one even would look at him to give him our food. NOW he comes to me and I go up there, here they are serving multiple people that were there AFTER us and haven't even touched our bowls to make. I'm standing there and NO employee tries to help, I have to get between customers that were there AFTER us and tell THEM WE were here FIRST before EVERYONE else that is NOW in line being SERVED. We would like our food. Employee tells me to WAIT and let them get the other customers FIRST. What the heck? REALLY! I repeat WE have been WAITING and we would like OUR FOOD, we already paid. After they help the other customers FINALLY come to us. Don't even fill up the bowl with that much with chicken, COME ON so sorry. SO RUDE for the food to be ready and serve other customers after us is so WRONG. BAD customer service, just HORRIBLE. They did not even say sorry, instead get awful bad looks at us, and why? The managers at this location are RUDE!!! Maria and Hoaung. The veggies portions are so tiny and only cabbage, broccoli and zucchini. When I mention the portion size and the veggie's lack the managers told me too bad that is the way it is. NEVER will I go to this location again!!!
