OK, the last few times we have been to this location, it's been OK. But this time definitely no. So I'm going to chime in on the other reviews with our experience today. My children ordered the honey walnut shrimp on chow mein and on fried rice, respectively, and they said that theirs was fine -not great, but fine- and that menu item is a staple of theirs. That's what they usually order. I ordered the mushroom chicken over fried rice. I've had that many times at other panda express locations. Today this was just awful. First of all, the chicken was in messy, still-connected-by-tendon chunks. It had not been diced into smaller pieces as is their usual way of serving it, so it's kind of hard to bite it since it was quite a mouthful. Secondly, there was no sauce. One of the reasons I choose mushroom chicken over and over is the sauce they prepare it with ( not soy sauce) and there was none. It was dry, just dry. Then the fried rice tasted stale like maybe they reheated it from last night and used it over again cause what the hey, who would know? And I'm not saying that's what happened, but that's what it tasted like. Panda express has always been one of my favorite fast food locations, but as another reviewer said, I'm going to drive further to a different one before I'll go back here because this is not what I paid for . 6/6/24: I stopped by for a to-go order. The restaurant was very clean, along with the food display area. I met Svitlana, who was very nice. I had a Bigger Plate, with the new spicy orange chicken, original orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, rice and noodles. The portions were pretty good and the food looked great. She gave me plenty of sauces and made me feel like a valued customer. The food was still hot when I got home about seven minutes later. read more

Do not spend your hard earned money at this Panda Express location. The employees are extremely unprofessional. We have dined at this location on a couple occasions and every time we have been greeted with RUDE employees! The straw that broke the camels back for us, was an order we submitted through DoorDash. Our DoorDash driver called to notify me that Panda Express locked their doors and he couldn't get inside to pick up my order. Apparently this is common practice. When they get too busy, they will lock their doors and not allow customers or drivers inside the restaurant. When they lock the door, they will only service drive through customers, which does not include DoorDash drivers, Uber eats drivers, or GrubHub drivers. How unprofessional is this? This place should be out of business. Think twice before dining at this location or ordering from this location. read more

Difficult to "review" a restaurant without eating there---but here goes. On the window there is a sign that says Panda Express is hiring GMs for $60,000; employees for $16 an hour. For the sake of the stakeholders, I hope they are not paying the current team that type of money. Two of four doors are locked. Inside, this is one of the last restaurants in Texas that has no dine in. Everything is pick-up or to go. It doesn't really matter though. After standing in place for some 10 minutes (no one else was in the restaurant) we were acknowledged ONCE by someone who appeared to be the manager. Her comment: "Be with you in a minute." With no customers in the restaurant, she (literally) was taking temperatures of the food in line and never looked up. Nor did anyone attempt to serve us. We walked out after 10 minutes of our lives we will never get back due to the apathy and rudeness of the staff. Pathetic excuse for a restaurant. read more

This Panda Express sucks the workers here pretty much count you pieces of chicken, if the think it's too much they take some off your plate. I come from California and the Chinese food over there have to use a rubber band to hold the plate from opening. I received a message from the owner of this place saying he apologized for the small portions he told the workers there is no cutting corners. PANDA BUYER BEWARE: I had a long day that included missing lunch. Made it back home to Murphy, TX by 5:00 and sought out a quick meal for my family of four. The coconut shrimp looked dry and I requested some fresh product. Maybe this request was the last straw for this server (Alba B). Shortly after paying the $45.47 bill, I was told that additional shrimp needed to be cooked to complete the order. After bagging the order, Alba said another server would give me the shrimp. He gave me the shrimp and I went home. Once I got home the order was missing 1 entree and 3 egg rolls. Called back and Elba said that she had to move to the drive thru and I left my food. I took the food I was given and wasn't interested in going back up on FM544 at 5:30 PM. I did return at 8:45 to get a refund. Elba wasn't interested in my request and want me to hear how I left my food behind the counter. I wasn't interested in a cover story and just want my money back. I told Alba that if she can't get it done I'll the manager in the morning. She told me that he would be away for the next few days and walked back to the restroom to continue to clean toilets. We like Panda and the food but they need to add staff pronto. Their drive thru line is always super long and slow, but going inside is even worse. I stood inside for over ten minutes and not one employee even acknowledged me. Three other people complained about waiting too long while I was in there. I ended up going back out to the drive thru and then waited another fifteen minutes to get food. If I weren't bringing food for someone else I would have just left. I can see the people inside are working hard but they are clearly understaffed for the traffic they get. I'm going to avoid the place until they can correct that issue. read more

I first enjoyed PE in Southlake a couple years back when I was working there for a few months, and there the service and the food was pretty dang good. Since then I have tried the PE in Plano on Springcreek, and there food is good but the service is SO bad, I refuse to return after multiple bad experiences. Yesterday PE sounded good, so I drive a few miles out of the way to go to the Murphy location, and not only was the service piss poor the food was terrible. Absolutely Terrible !! PE, you not only need to do some serious training classes, you need to clean house and start over. What happened to "do your job"? If you don't like your job, find a new job. I am very frustrated. We ordered from the drive thru. They told us that the fried rice would be a 10-15 wait. We agreed. We paid for our meals. They told us to move up to the stop and they would bring it out. 20 minutes later, still no food. We drove back thru the drive thru and told them we were still waiting for our food. We went to the window and our food wasn't ready. The guy said they think they gave our food to another person. I had to give them our receipt because they had released our order. We made it home and the normal portion size was much smaller than normal. One order was normal sized. The other was like 5 pieces of chicken. We called the store and spoke to the manager. Told them our issue. He told us to come back to the store and he would re make the meal. We asked for them to refund our money. They would only remake our meal. I enjoy the Beef broccoli and orange chicken with white rice. Great price for the amount served and very filling. Locations I've been to have all been clean w/friendly staff and they do offer samples of you want to try anything! The only downfall is that they could benefit to add a changing table for infants in the restrooms! I've literally had to change my 6 month old son in the stall on the floor on top of his changing mat. Not sanitary what so ever to do this! Very inconvenient from a parent stand point. read more
