Ordered through DoorDash to be delivered to my hotel thinking I would be able to stretch the meal into two meals. What a disappointment. I ordered a two item plate with Chicken Teriyaki, Broccoli Beef, white rice and chow mein plus Cream Cheese Rangoon. You can see in the photo there were about six pieces of beef and a bit more of the chicken. Looked like they got the portion for the rice correct, but the chow mein must have been served with a tablespoon. The meats were dry even with the sauce I requested. One chicken entrée was undercooked and one was overdone and crunchy. They somehow also tasted the same. Our beef came in a side cup, but didn't even fill it. When we called to report the lack of quality and portion we were told it was the fault of the delivery app. How? Please take responsibility of your food. Also, they don't serve potstickers. This place is understaffed and service is terribly, terribly slow. Definitely avoid this place during "lunch time". They have one employee running between fufilling orders and ringing up customers. I did not like this Panda Express location before. I have been picking up dinners mainly for my mom more often and I have seen an improvement. The food used to sit there for a long time and start drying out but now it looks like there are new batches of each item being made more often. What I like is you can request them to make a new batch. I usually only have to wait 5-10 minutes and it is worth it. The customer service has been great every time. We ordered through Uber eats last night and processed order, the driver came to pick up and cancelled order because they were closed and wouldn't let him in. We came in today and their signature dish- orange chicken was less than average. The chicken was really tough and hard to bite. Their rice was stale but their chowmein was good. Since my initial review over 3 years ago, I decided to return to this Panda to give them a chance to redeem themselves. I must say it truly was a completely different experience. First and foremost the staff, especially the manager, are super pleasant! They all stay busy, help each other out & are very nice. I felt like a stalker watching them so closely, but I wanted to be sure to leave an honest follow up review. Secondly, the food is exactly how it should be... fresh & warm. It really was good. I know because my daughter finished her cub meal before I was done, and that rarely happens. Just want to finish up by saying good job to the manager & staff, you really are doing a great job. I had to give 5 stars as so many others are so unrealistically low. I always get a good meal, never had a bad one. But you also have to be open minded when selecting your plate. I've gone in and seen the chow mien looking depleted and old. I'll either wait to order or choose something else. Same goes with all the dishes at this style of restaurant. I'd have to agree with the low rating. The food is just not tasty. Here's my vegan review by the way. If you want vegan/vegetarian options here it's just a non starter. This place is appropriate for non discerning eaters who want some cheap Chinese style food. You can get a combo for 10 bucks. That's probably the main attraction: "combo" joint to a low price. But any benefit to coming here stops at that. I will admit that the place is clean and modern inside but of course they have chain store capital to invest in such things. The vegan noodles were dry and relatively tasteless. Vegan veggies were cooked with no flavor. I mean you have to have that stir fried flavor! We also had to settle for white rice because the pre made rice has egg in it. The places I like though, tend to be quite dated and not so clean. Or at least dated. And for $10 I'd rather get one quality large dish (like crispy tofu chow fun with veggies- there I get a combo all in one dish) at a tasty place like China House, than go here. And wow the fried rice there is night and day from here. One other plus to Pand I suppose is there almost 5 star rated app which is easy to order from. And if you have to go here, if it's busy sit at a table and order through the app. Go up when it's ready. But if you have a choice choose elsewhere. Ps I do appreciate the reply from management. I take Panda Express for what it is... fast food. That being said, if I could give this place zero stars, I would. I'm not sure who taught the employees here what the food should look and taste like, but their standards seem extremely low. I don't mind eating at Panda Express, so don't assume I'm some kind of food snob. It's at this particular location that the food is just not good at all. The food is always dry and never looks appealing. The fried rice always has hard, uncooked grains in it. The chow mein has more veggies than actual noodles in it. Overall, the food looks looks as if it had been sitting out longer than it should have been. There's also an employee here who is unpleasant to come into contact with. Her name is Karen. She seems to Hate her job, and if that's the case, she should quit. My 8 year old son went to ask her for a spoon, and she looked over at him, but continued to complain to a coworker about certain duties she had to do. After a couple of minutes, she finally decided to help my son. She comes up to him and says "what do you want?". That is no way to greeting a customer, regardless of age. I've tried to give this place chances to change my mind about it, but I'm giving up.
