The braised beef noodle soup was easily my favorite dish. The broth was flavorful, the beef was tender, and it came out at the perfect temperature. My only complaint was the noodles themselves. They were pretty tangled and clumped together, almost like they had been sitting refrigerated before being added to the broth. Once separated, though, I really enjoyed the dish. We also ordered the sliced beef with hot peppers. The beef had good flavor, but I thought the sauce was a little too dry for my preference. And when they say hot peppers, they mean it, there were A LOT of jalapeños. There was also a small wait between receiving the noodle soup and the rest of our entrées, so the timing could have been a little better. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, plenty of space, and is conveniently located near Downtown Redlands. Overall, I'm glad to see a place serving good Shanghai style Chinese food in an area where there aren't a ton of options like this. Definitely a place I'd come back to and try more of the menu. 7/10

As you enter the restaurant the ambiance is warm and inviting. The staff that took my order was knowledgeable and patient as I perused the menu. I would come back to this place with family and friends.

I'm beyond frustrated with my experience here. I placed an online order at 4:10 PM with an estimated pick-up time of 30 minutes. We arrived at the store at 4:45 PM, but because we couldn't find parking, I sent my daughter in to pick up the order. She was told that the order wasn't ready and had to wait another 20 minutes. After that, we ended up going through the drive-thru to get our food. When I finally reached the window to pick up the order, I politely explained that we had been waiting for 40 minutes. The employee didn't offer an apology or even a hint of acknowledgment for the delay. Instead, she just said, "I'll see you in a minute," in a rude tone. When we reached the next window, she pointed to the pick-up window and said it was inside. No apology, no explanation--just an attitude. I mentioned again that we had waited a long time, and her response was, "Well, we are busy." I understand that it gets busy, but that's no excuse for poor service or an unprofessional attitude. It's really disappointing, especially since I was trying to remain calm and polite throughout the whole experience. They tried to give me burnt rice and told me to wait 10 minutes outside while they cooked it. It was done in 5 minutes and nobody bothered to say anything. I went it and continued to try to order only for JOCOLYN AND CHRIS to give me attitude about my mask not staying on my nose cause it was sewed wrong. I continued to pull it up over and over only for they to continue to harrras me about it even once it was on my nose! So I took a picture of her then she continued to give me attitude about if I need her name too. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND EXTREME ATTITUDE. I went their with my wife and 2 kids both 4 and 3 and the manager a brown man short with a mole on his lip kept swearing and yelling at the customers and his own workers in the front of the store?! I just want a nice peaceful place to eat with my family without someone who's supposed to be a manager dropping an F-bomb full volume for my kids to hear. Back on 4/24/26, I placed an online order where special instructions again requested toast, but it was not done. I requested a refund at that time as well due to the attitude of the employee on the phone. At the time, I did not realize the woman on the phone was the same person I dealt with today. I asked for a receipt confirming the refund, but she refused to provide anything, including her name, even though she claimed to be the manager. I asked for her name so I could reference her if there was an issue with my refund. She does not look taller than 5ft, Hispanic/Latin, with unnatural red hair. I left with no guarantee of my refund. Managers exact words were "you got your refund last time, you will this time" I have now filed a complaint with Subway and am looking for the franchise owner information to escalate further. I will not be returning here. I may only be one customer, but I will be sure to share this experience with my dozen of coworkers who normally go to this location and others in the community.
