I thought it be cool to check out a new Panda Express. The place was cleaned and looked nice. They had a few items there were sold out and had to wait for the mushroom chicken and chow mein to be restocked. Honestly, the staff were friendly and had very positive energy. The restaurant was lively. But food was just okay, even by Panda Express standards. And I kinda wished they loaded up my bowl some more. I finished my bowl and still felt hungry. The food is good. The app is convenient and gives you rewards. However, there are a couple of times part of the food is missing (side dishes like chow mein). It's inconvenient to drive back and ask for the missing item. Next time, check the to-go items before leaving. read more

They give you mostly rice or noodles with a very small scoop of proteins. Maybe that's not so bad as their dishes are filled with batter, sugar and sodium. For about the same price, you can get a freshly made meal at any number of Mom and Pop restaurants in the area. read more

Props for the high energy and full staff! Food is awful, worse than other locations. Why do they chop up their chow mein? Noodles should be long, not 1-2 inches. The restaurant is clean and it's brand new. The service was good. I will say that they prioritize to-go orders so when you're about to order, you might have to stand there and wait for a bit until they fulfill the online orders which is kind of annoying but I've had this happen at other locations. They were at least nice when they do help you with your order. However the food at this location is so bad. The orange chicken was dry and not enough chicken /overbreaded. They also give you the smallest portions they possibly can in comparison to other Panda Express restaurants I have been to. I'll stick with the other San Leandro location. read more

Was okay until we got our food and were about to leave, We noticed a weird smell from our plate, smelt it and some employee wanted to be funny and joke about it, sorta mocking us for smelling it, He laughed and muttered something as he walked away, I don't really pay attention to things like that. but being a dick for no reason isn't funny, No clue what his name was, but all employees there should be made aware to no be rude or snarky about little things, it's not hard to be a normal nice person in a customer service job, i work two and manage just fine and treat all with respect without snide remarks, act better lmao read more

Just tryed the new panda express, I've have panda before not a big fan but thought id give it a try,had a bogo for their Bowles. Order on app was easy. Arrived at 525 puck up for 530.. 1 dinning roowas very clean. 2. The food line look like it was there for awail. Especially the crean chees rangoon, witch they try to give me. 3. There were 4 girls working not one of them greeted any customer. 4. There was a man who was in front of me try to pay for his order and the register went down, took 2 people to try to figure it out mostly looking like deer in a headlight, but my issue is mine was paid for on line so all one of them had to do was fill it and I could have been gone. 5.but to me the most important, as a retired chef the food..was not hot i check in car before I left was luke warm at best, and those creme cheese rangoons that had been sitting on the line they were going to give me and I saw the cook drop a batch I told them I wanted the fresh ones. The orange chicken hand no orang flavor at all it was cooked well but no flavor, and the "super greens" well it was all broccoli except for 3 pieces of cut cabbage, not super greens at all... Now I realize there ate issue's with new openings but the food and customer service shouldn't be. Will we try it again? We'll i have another coupon good till dec. I will think about it. I was disappointed. Just left there & the Teriyaki chicken was not fully cooked. The honey walnut shrimp did not have any visible sauce. Just plain fried shrimp.
