I got a couple of tried and true options: orange chicken and Bejing beef. I got 1/2 super greens and 1/2 fried rice. Everything was delicious and portions were very generous. I could only eat 1/2 my meal so I'll be eating the leftovers tomorrow. My husband tried the new Dynamite sweet and sour chicken and they weren't lying, it's SUPER hot! I like to eat here and often do. What I would like to see is maybe get an employee bathroom so paying customers can use it or wash their hands before they eat. This happens a lot almost everytime I there the mens bathroom is occupied by an employee! Also, please bring back the Black Pepper Chicken it was my favorite and big reason I enjoyed the food here. After all this time of not eating at a Panda Express, I said what the heck and headed here. I know that the quality of the food would be average at best, and if the food has been sitting for long that will not help, but still there are a couple of items I wish to try - Original "World Famous" Orange Chicken and Black Pepper Chicken. Neither of these dishes are authentic Chinese, they are strictly Chinese American creations. But like with most such dishes here or in the UK (yes, there very definitely is Chinese British cuisine, most begun by immigrants from Hong Kong, and very, very different from that in the USA) there is a traditional dish that was the starting point - such is true for both of these items. The Orange Chicken most certainly was adapted from a dish from Hunan Providence, Sour Tangerine Chicken, a dish that was much more citrus based, not at all sweet, and in a much thinner sauce! Black Pepper Chicken is most likely a variation of Pepper Steak with Onions, which had origins in a pork and pepper dish from China - yeap pork! Ok, where were we - ah, the two chicken dishes, the reason I came to begin with. It was not a totally wasted trip, but neither did it exceed my expectations. The Orange was the slightly better of the two offerings, not nearly as sweet as some versions I've encountered. But if I'm gonna go sweet Chinese chicken, I'll stay with General Tso'. As to the Black Pepper Chicken, there is a sweetness that doesn't work for me on this dish! Return? No! But if you don't fail, It's because you didn't try! First of all, a lot of the reviewers were claiming this is not authentic Chinese... They say on their website it is Chinese inspired but American made... So I got what I expected just that! I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl with the super greens and a side of spring rolls. The teriyaki chicken was perfectly seasoned because it didn't have a lot of teriyaki sauce on it as I have encountered at other Chinese restaurants. there was also a lot of chicken in the bowl which I thought was perfectly priced. In fact it was relatively cheap at $8.50. I had plenty of chicken, broccoli, cabbage, and kale. Some of the chicken had a little bit of fat on it so I just took it off. Overall, the chicken was well cooked and like I said perfectly seasoned and the teriyaki sauce was not sweet or salty at all. The spring rolls were also very flavorful: crispy on the outside with the perfect amount of cabbage and carrots on the inside. The vegetables were definitely steamed and extremely crunchy, which is what I prefer in my vegetables. my only complaint is the service we received at the drive-through... We told the girl that it was our first visit so we had lots of questions and unfortunately, she really didn't know some of the answers. A guy got on and helped us out a lot more. I decided to pick up dinner on my way home. I have never eaten here so I wanted to check them out. I ordered the plate which comes with two entree's and a side. I ordered Kung Pao chicken and Beef and Broccoli along with Fried Rice. I liked the Kung Pao chicken. It had a good flavor to it but I did not like the chicken. The pieces were very small and not much flavor. The Beef and Broccoli was just okay. It really didn't have a lot of flavor to it and the beef was a little chewy. You get a lot of food for your money. The key to a 4-5 star experience is dining in and choosing the freshest looking items in front of you. Like a buffet, you can tell when something has been sitting for too long, so skip those items. The service was fast, but the team was highly distracted and not helpful... typical of so many quick service restaurants these days. The Black Angus Steak dish was really good. The steak was surprisingly tender and juicy, and overall great flavor, well worth the $1.50 upcharge. The Honey Walnut Shrimp wasn't super fresh, but still tasted really good, just the batter softens once it's been coated in the sauce. I would love to get a crispy order as soon as it's cooked. The Black Pepper Chicken was really fresh, had tons of flavor and didn't have to worry about a soft batter as there isn't any on this dish. The Kung Pao Chicken looked piping hot and fresh... and it was... but this chicken is completely different from the chicken used in the Black Pepper Chicken. It was soft and squishy, almost like they were pieces of chicken skin. There was zero meaty texture to the chicken whatsoever. I'm not sure if this is normal for this dish, but we ate at least 10 pieces and all of it was like this. I would be hesitant to try this dish again. The lo mein is good, but the noodles always seem a little underdone. The SuperGreens were hot, fresh, and healthy, just needed a little soy sauce to enhance the flavor. We've been to Panda Express one other time before, but it's been awhile. This time we tried the orange chicken, black pepper chicken, honey walnut shrimp, chow mein, fried rice & cream cheese rangoons. All of the meats were very good & flavorful! The rice and chow mein were okay, but kind of dry. The rangoons were cooked well, but the cream cheese had a weird texture, more curd-like than creamy. They were also a bit small. The prices are a bit high for fast food, being around $27 for 2 plates, 2 drinks & 6 rangoons. Unfortunately drinks are not included with the entrees. So I ate here three weeks after it opened and didn't have that nice of an experience and I will have to say that management reached out to me and apologized . The food was good however just after opening I didn't think everyone had it together. Now fast forward a few months and I've eaten here again, on the house even I was kinda let down. I went in on a Saturday afternoon, not busy at all and didn't have all the selections of entrées and the amount that was put on my plate was greatly reduced and I ended up with pretty much a plate of RICE.
