I'm kind of with Katie and Josh on this, the customer service has left a lot to be desired. Most of the time when I go in there I feel like I'm inconveniencing the gentleman that comes out to help, I'm not sure if he's the owner or what. I used to go there a lot to get treats for my accounts because they all love the cupcakes. I think the first misstep was when I accidentally stopped in on dollar cupcake day, at this point I had not like their Facebook page and was unaware that they held such promotions. The lady in front of me explained the promotion and why it was so busy. Which was fine because I understand the allure of a dollar cupcake, so I waited in line. While I was there the same gentleman that helps me almost every time came out and accuse me of coming in earlier in the day in front of a line of people. Which is funny because it's like each time I'm in, he never recognizes me. I believe what he was trying to do was accuse me of taking advantage of his dollar cupcakes. Since I expense almost every cupcake I buy I can afford to pay more than $1 for a cupcake. The next time I stopped in I was trying to use my rewards points and he said I could use either the $2.50 off a half dozen OR a free cupcake. Once I completed the sale I looked at my rewards points and saw that I still had a free cupcake, so what difference would it be using it today, tomorrow, or next week? I'm not sure if he understands half of what he signs up for and respected Groupons or the rewards program but it seems that he's patently uninformed about what the rules are and treats some customers as though they're trying to steal from him. I probably will not be going back here based on what happened today. I've given this location in this business way too much money and way too much of my time to be treated so poorly period it's a shame because the product is very good but the public face of it is very poor. Not every customer is trying to steal from you. Perhaps if these rewards programs and group bones are such an issue for you you should just stop using them. read more

What could be better than free cupcakes while your working!!! I was super excited to find that one of our drug reps brought my office Pandora Cupcakes after lunch one day. This excitement was quickly diminished when I opened the box. The chocolate cake had a dry crust on the top, like they had been sitting in the sun all day. I still couldn't resist the mint chocolate cupcake because these are my weakness. The cake was super dry and the "mint" frosting barely tasted like mint. Very disappointing. I actually had to throw it away after 3 bites because it was so dry. The only positive thing I could say is the size of the cupcake. It was fairly large compared to other bakeries in the area. And I heard the prices are cheaper too. But unless they make some major changes to their recipes, I wouldn't waste my money here. read more

Poor service, took about 5 mins for the girl from back to come out, she seemed to care less if I bought anything or not, terrible. Probably could make better cupcakes at home, boring flavors and pretty bland, icing is like a vanilla w just a hint of whatever the flavor is suppose to be, no fillings in cakes, just tastes like a box cake mix, if I didn't have a groupon I wasted my money on I would not be back, not to mention the price is more than $2 a cupcakr read more

Before going to Pandora's Cupcakes I read the Yelp reviews which overall aren't very good. Nonetheless, I decided to try it for myself this week to make my own opinion. I tried a large assortment of the cupcakes to make sure that I had a large test case. The cupcakes were picked from a rack behind the counter which seemed to be cloaked by plastic or a wax paper curtain. Within 20 minutes of purchase, my entire family including kids tried bites from the entire batch and we were all very very disappointed. Every one of the cupcakes were very dry and tasted like they had been sitting out all day. We purchased the cupcakes in the afternoon, so maybe they were from morning batches. The frosting was almost crispy and bland instead of moist and flavorful and the cupcakes were extremely dry and lacked flavor. We were expecting to be blown away since it's a cupcake specialty shop, but sadly we all agreed that the cupcakes just don't cut it. Honestly, out of the box cupcake mix made at home or West Side Bakery cupcakes are far and away significantly better. On the positive side, the cashier was very polite and the price was very reasonable. Overall we wanted to fall in love with Pandora's because it is a local spot, but we won't be coming back unless there is a menu or recipe revitalization. We will not recommend Pandora's to friends/family looking for cupcakes for special occasions. If anyone has a great local cupcake spot that is a family favorite please post! read more

I am very disappointed by the lack of professionalism. I drove 15 miles today only to arrive at 6pm and it was closed ( however the store hours on the door said open until 8pm). There was explanation on the door or anything. I didn't think I had to call to make sure they were open when even Yelp said until 8pm. I have been patient with this establishment over inconsistency in quality but the lack of professionalism has made my decision to shop elsewhere easy. read more

Pandora's cupcakes is a great little place! The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and the cupcakes are divine! I stopped by today and picked up four of the specialty cupcakes for my fiancee and myself. We got the Black Forest Cupcake, Caramel Apple, Mint on CHocolate, and Cookies and cream. We loved them!!! I'm only marking 4 stars because I wanna try more flavors before I give a 5. This place is certainly a great and inexpensive way to indulge your sugary needs. Great flavors, great presentation, great atmosphere. Love it! read more

Did not like cupcake at all got vanilla frosting was supposed to be vanilla cake , frosting flavor was OK but just look like it was thrown on top of the cupcakes and the cake had a yellow color to it not white expect with the vanilla cupcake and had the texture of cornbread very dry. read more

Um wow. I seen this place on the way to my hotel and told myself to check it out. Well I did and wasted 8 bucks for 3 cupcakes and one of those mini pies. First bite into the red velvet was horror. I didn't finish it and neither did my neice ( a 3 year old not liking a cupcake shocker). The mini pie sucked big time. I will never visit there again. Also the employee was kind of rude and seemed like she didn't want to be there. read more

We picked up some cupcakes for my mom's birthday today at the Cuyahoga Falls store. We had French Toast, Snowball and Mint Chocolate. My mom (who is very picky) RAVED about the Mint Chocolate cupcake, especially the cake and how moist it was. The French Toast was dead on, really tasted like french toast. Loved the crisp bacon on top! Our son, who likes simple cupcakes, asked if they could put oreos on a vanilla/vanilla cupcake and they were happy to oblige. Great customer service. Overall, we were very pleased and will most definitely go back, soon I hope :) read more

We stopped here for my husband's birthday at the beginning of October. When I entered the shop smelled heavenly of coffee and sweet treats. They had about 16 cupcake flavors to chose from and we were able to by the cakes individually. We chose our four cakes and our favorites were the chocolate peanut butter cup (I usually will not eat chocolate cake, because I do not like it), but I loved this one and the spiced cake with the cream cheese frosting. The cakes are light and fluffy. It is a great option for a small birthday celebration and we got to taste all four different flavors instead of having a sheet cake. I was so excited to try Pandora's Cupcakes since I heard about it at Akron University. I stopped by and purchased a dozen "mini" cupcakes to take home. First of all, if I wanted to pay their prices for a plain vanilla or chocolate cupcake it should at least taste good. The cake was dry and flavorless, and the frosting seemed to lack that special something as well. It tasted like it had some sort of artificial sweetener or alcohol in it. Beyond that, the peanut butter flavored icing tasted rancid. I will not be visiting again. read more

Been here twice and both times were good experiences. The girls working were very nice and helpful. The cupcakes are yummy, not the best cupcakes I've ever had in my life but they're pretty good. I've tried a few of the flavors but honestly my favorite was the plain old vanilla cake with chocolate frosting. I don't know, the flavors just really complemented each other perfectly. The cake was moist and pleasantly subtle and the frosting was very dense and chocolatey, almost fudge-like. The salted caramel was awesome, a very close second to the vanilla/chocolate. The strawberry cheesecake was good but I really didn't get any kind of a cream cheese flavor and the s'mores cupcake was so-so. They're all very pretty to look at and nothing I tried was bad but some are definitely better than others. Both times I've been here were in the evening, I'd like to go back earlier in the day and try the cupcakes while they're still pretty fresh. That being said though, I was still really impressed with the quality. read more
