This location is just a few months old, but it's a convenient option if you're in Acworth and want a quick bite. The service is friendly, but each time that I've gone here, at least one of our orders has been incorrect. Last night, my dad ordered a You Pick Two (1/2 sandwich + 1/2 salad) and somehow ended up with just a full sandwich. My mom got a salad and it was served with no dressing. They're happy to correct the order and those are obviously not huge issues, but it's definitely something that they can work on. I am in medica sales and use Paneras across the southeast for catering almost every single week. I will NO longer use them due to the unprofessional catering manager in the northern Atlanta area, Wes Hendrix. Not only did I NOT receive a callback with assistance for a delivery order website mistake but he waited until the DAY OF my meeting to email me that he was too busy! It was IMPOSSIBLE to book anyone else this late and IF he would've called me back the day I called him I would've been able to find another company. Instead I had to PAY to get on an earlier standby flight so I could pick it up - which was out of my way - and deliver it MYSELF! Mckenzie has very poor customer service as does Jonathan, the manager who we spoke with. While in this store, I experienced an eye roll, short and snippy responses to questions and no help with a similar item on the menu to the sand which I'm used to order. While I decided on whether or not to speak with a manager, the table next to us went to speak with him. After she was done I said I needed to speak with him as well. Immediately after I spoke with him, a third table asked to talk with him in regards to McKenzies attitude. He failed to resolve any of th issues from the tables and knowingly lost 2 and maybe 3 tables worth of customers. He apologized once to the three tables combined. This Panera location has really gone downhill. It used to be super clean and have a great customer service! During our visit tonight they failed to tell us they were out of what we ordered or pieces of what we ordered. I personally would have ordered something else if I had known. Instead they told my husband while they were making our food and made him go back and get a refund to order a new sandwhich. We had no idea they didn't give me my bread bowl until we were in the car. When my husband went back in to see why we didn't get the bread bowl they just said they were out! I would have ordered something else if I had known upon ordering. I don't know why but I once again find myself in the worst Panera bread in the world. I ordered a bagel sandwich from the menu, when it came out it was an egg sandwich on focaccia bread. The guy said "I can make that on a bagel for you." Then he started complaining that the order entry was wrong. The receipt says "bagel egg and cheese sandwich" the menu says "bacon egg and cheese on a asagio cheese bagel." I think the guy who made my sandwich is an idiot. This is the same guy who got mad at me for wanting to wait for soup and didn't understand why I was frustrated that they didn't have any baguettes last time I was here. Horrible experience on Saturday evening 9/7/13. The guy that prepares food was called out by ME ,because he was cleaning the cooking area with a chemicals and stopped cleaning with the spray bottle in hand and reached for my bread with bare DIRTY hands while still having the chemicals in the other! I got the cashiers attention immediately. She advised him to remake make my order, and he did.. BUT what would happen had I'd NOT seen him with my VERY own eyes!! This location is dirty and the worst! I usually frequent Panera when traveling because the food quality and consistency is spot on. However, Tried this location twice thinking first experience was just a fluke but both times dinning area and available tables still had old food on them and were not clean.The sandwich & soup I ordered ( French onion) was so cold the cheese did not melt. Took it back and got a wise crack from the cook who could have cared less. How hard is it really to heat soup? The floor at the drink station made your shoes stick. Beware this location. Worst salad ever- the Chinese Citrus Cashew salad with chicken. The lettuce was mostly the white pieces i usually throw out. Then, there were small pieces of un-peeled cucumbers and a few small fragments of pineapple. The cashew pieces were crumbs, and there were no mandarin oranges. The salad had no flavor!
