Car is being serviced so walked over to get coffee... ended up also getting the Steak and Wake sando. It was good if a little skimpy on the steak. The coffee was tasty. The restaurant is clean. When I went to add half and half to my coffee the pitcher was empty. 2% works but when I asked about getting more half and half I got a funny look from the staff. This is where my 3 star rating comes from. The staff here are not necessarily "rude" but they aren't really friendly either. I basically felt as though I were an inconvenience to them. Panera has turned to corporate trash. I went today for the first time in a long long time. surprised by the shrinkflation of the cream cheese cups now 1.5 oz when they used to be 2oz. Bagel appeared to be smaller and taste was off. Prices are insane for a bagel and cream cheese is $5!!! Kids mac n cheese is $8! For the smallest cup ever. A happy meal is cheaper than that. Tried to eat here once. First time the lettuce in my salad was bad. Impossible to reach anyone online or on the phone to complain. Had some money left on a gift card so I gave it one more chance, and I'm not kidding that they put one slice of salami on my $13 salad. Please do not eat here, do not throw your money away. I know better than to expect good things from this Panera. I can't figure out why the Panerai in Corvallis is so wonderful and the one in Albany sucks? So I got the Southwest chicken ranch salad and a blood orange drink. My total wa 19.00!! For a salad and a small drink!! The lettuce was warm and wilted. I chose the apple as my side because I can't have bread. The apple was old, I mean really old!! It was slushy and brown when I cut it open. I don't have an issue paying for a good meal. I personally think 19.00 is too high for a salad and a small drink. Especially when I went through the drive through. I guess imm make the drive to Corvallis is I really want panara! Just got soup and bread at this drive thru Panera Bread. I specifically asked for an extra piece of bread and that I didn't want a mini piece of bread. When I got my order, there were two tiny end pieces in the bag. I asked the girl to take one back and give me a full piece of bread. She called the manager and they gave me a piece about 2" long. When I complained about the size of the piece, I was told that was the new "size" of the bread at Panera Bread. Then she added that they did this complementary. I asked why they would give me two end pieces when I had specifically requested a nice size piece of bread with my soup order. The manager got flustered and shut the drive through window on me. One day I had terrible luck because those were out a breakfast & I came back at lunch and they were out of broccoli cheddar soup. So drive up. I normally don't give a picture of the food do to it's not like the picture they advertise. Plus this was drive through. Maybe that's a wrong but but if the food is good then it shouldn't matter. Well let's start with there half salad. Portion was ok and it had a lot of flavor for a chicken Cesar salad. There 1/2 steak & white cheddar was actually good. Not dry and had good flavor as well. There autumn squash soup was ok. On the sweet side but again my opinion. The first time I was here was when I had to do my tire rotation for my car at costco, which is right next to here across the street. This Panera is very spacious inside and has a very very good natural lighting! It has self service checkout kiosk where you can take your time to order the food. Everything was neat and clean. I came back for a second time to study, and I had a productive study session because it wasn't noisy and the music they play in the background is just so good my server was so nice and attentive. I can tell she's hard working because she'd find things to do like cleaning tables during downtime. This will definitely be one of my go-to spots for studying from now on! read more

This Panera Bread is consistently bad. I've now given them three chances. All three times I've done curbside to go. First time I went I was missing so much food and each of my kids orders were dead wrong. Second visit, the sandwich was ice cold. Literally there was frost in it. Soup was cold too. Third visit, I show up to curbside at the time I selected. Pressed the "I'm here," and proceed to wait 15 minutes in my car. No one came out like before. I check the order and it won't let me press the I'm Here again. I walk in and let them know I've been waiting. The gal walks over and gets my order from the back. The food is cold, wasn't really hot in the first place, and the ice has melted in the drink. Lol. Just consistently bad. The staff seem nice but it must be managed terribly or something. read more

I come here often and usually spend about $25.00 each time. The food is good and the baked goods are really good for a chain. The service however, is pretty rough. The sand which makers seem to do a great job, but the front register staff need some training. I sat at the register for over 8 minutes waiting to get my orders cookie. The register person walked by me twice without even looking in my direction. When she finally came over she rudely reminded me that the cookies are in the basket. There was one hidden chocolate chip in the group. I assume she wants $30.00 an hour for her nasty attitude. read more

Every time I've gone to Panera bread, I go in with optimism; thinking, oh maybe it won't be that bad this time. Yet every time I order food there I am left disappointed with the portion to cost ratio and quality of food. Today I ordered two broccoli cheese soups in bread bowls. One for me and one for my partner. That was $24 before tip. With that price, you'd think that the soup size would be pretty decent; it was not. It was about 1 cup apiece. The bread bowl itself was maybe the size the of a grapefruit and was overtly tough, like gnawing on leather. I know bread bowls have a tougher outside crust, but this was beyond chewie. The soup taste was pretty bland; as in I've had canned soup with more flavor and chunks of broccoli. If you want to waste your money; this is the establishment. You will leave hungry and disappointed. I honestly feel like their prices are purposeful slap in the face and is a reminder, I should have just made soup at home and used store bought bread bowls. At least then I could have justified the money spent because I would have a good quality finished product. read more

Receipt said extra dressing and no pecans. I love pecans and didn't want the dressing and didn't get the chicken. Hubby ordered pepperoni flat bread. Reminded us of the pizza we ate in grade school Corn chowder was not as thick as you would expect a chowder to be. It tasted watered down. No seasoning. Blah. I am so bummed.
